Yeah, the report gets dumped weeks after the Election, on a Friday afternoon when the Ferguson GJ is expected to make its announcement.
In other words, they might as well have just tossed it in the garbage for all the relevance it will ultimately have.

With all the supposed extra training and such that they’ve had for dealing with the Ferguson protests, don’t you all think they should, by now, be able to identify and isolate those anarchist and communist crazies who have been showing up?
Charles was able to identify them just from still photos early on. You’d think the cops and/or the FBI and Homeland Security gang who are hanging around would be able to draw a bead on them and get them the fuck away from the legitimate protesters.

A minor benefit if the GJ does somehow indict Wilson: The anarchists will be sent slinking back to mom’s basement with their tails between their legs. I wonder if they will scream “betrayal!”?
14 | Targetpractice Nov 21, 2014 4:36:36pm |
If there is an indictment, one of the first things we can expect will be wingnuts screaming that the jurors were pressured into it by the “angry mob” and/or the Feds pressured McCollough to bring charges. There will be, in some way, an effort to portray an indictment as a miscarriage of justice.

But it doesn’t work that way. The only people on the scene who gain from controlling the crazies/provocateurs are the legitimate protesters. If they have spent their last 104 days growing a strong leadership and disciplined structure, they can ‘dissuade’ the parasites.

Fox wins either way. They can go with outrage over the obvious interference/intimidation by the Obama administration or they can go with outrage over how poor officer Wilson was demeaned and put under house arrest for months for just doing his job.

Those thinking there will be an indictment handed down made me wonder about something.
Would a cop have a contract with the city/police department with language that if he is found guilty of a major crime while as a cop and on duty, he’d still be eligible for back pay while off under investigation, future retirement, any insurances and any kind of resignation settlement?
If that bit about him being in negotiation to resign is true, would they even be negotiating a settlement if they thought he was going to be indicted and he would be getting no further monies?

It’s probably a complicated story. What if, for instance, he’s negotiating a resignation in the event he’s not indicted, on the theory that his continued presence on the force would make for bad community relations?

Well yeah. In the DC animated universe, no one will touch Mark Hamill’s Joker. He’s brilliant. It’s like having anyone else as Batman. They’ve had some good actors, but why bother when Kevin Conroy is still alive?
For live action film, however, the Joker needed an upgrade since the Nicholson version didn’t age well. And thank the FSM that Nolan decided to make Bane a real threat instead of wasting him the way Schumacher did.

Honestly I think the Batman the Animated Series (and anything else springing from that) version of the Joker will end up aging better then the Dark Knight Joker, because Dark Knight is more about a terrorist playing headgames, BTAS has a supervillain who will half poison fish giving them crazy grins so he can try to patent them…
Dark Knight’s Joker will become as dated as the 60s is today in a few decades as we leave the war on terror behind us.
(Not say it wasn’t good it’s just in my opinion Markhamil’s was better, though on the other hand Mark Hamil has had two cartoon series, and four video games at least (Arhkahm + DCU Online) to perfect how to play the role.)
