Republican Rep. Peter King thinks it would be a great idea for President Obama to invite Darren Wilson to the White House.

“I think it would be very helpful if President Obama went and met with the police officer or invited him to the White House and said, ‘You’ve gone through four months of smear and slander and the least we can do is tell you that it’s unfortunate that it happened and thank you for doing your job.’ And then try to bring the communities together,” King said in an interview with Fox Business News.

Oh come on. Peter King is just showing more of that Republican minority outreach.

You know, because telling a black President to invite a cop that murdered an unarmed black kid to the White House and to thank the cop for doing his job is totally not racist as all fuck and is going to bring people together.

The cop that got an invite didn’t kill a black kid first. Total faux pas.

And everyone knows that college professors are socialist indoctrinators.

Actually, Rep. King has a good idea.

Obama SHOULD invite officer Wilson to the White House. To give him what he deserves for the job he did.

Four hours in the White House basement and a rubber hose outghta do the trick….

Killing an unarmed kid isn’t his fucking job. It’s a fuck up on the job, this is the same bullshit line these fascists throw out every time some kid is killed. Their job is not to kill people it’s to prevent crime, and enforce the law. Executing petty criminals without trial is not their fucking job,

A terrorism supporter said what?

Regarding the 30 years of violence during which the IRA killed over 1,700 people, including Lord Mountbatten, Lord Kaberry, Sir Anthony Berry MP and over 600 civilians, King said, “If civilians are killed in an attack on a military installation, it is certainly regrettable, but I will not morally blame the IRA for it.”[31]

In 1985, the Irish government boycotted New York’s annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in protest at King serving as Grand Marshal of the event; the Irish government condemned him as an “avowed” supporter of IRA terrorism.[34] At the parade he again offered words of support for the IRA.[35]

During the murder trial of an IRA member in the 1980s, a judge in Northern Ireland ejected King from the courtroom, describing King as “an obvious collaborator with the IRA”.[13][36]

Labour MP David Winnick commented to King that “there’s been some surprise in the United States but also in Britain that you have a job looking into and investigating into terrorism” and added that King “seems to be an apologist for terrorism”.[45]

You didn’t need to have a background in courthouse procedures to know that something didn’t seem right when St. Louis County prosecutor Bob McCulloch addressed the press Monday night. Instead of speaking as an advocate for the victim of crime who can no longer speak for himself, McCulloch sounded like a defense attorney cautiously explaining that his client was innocent all along, while inwardly suppressing his glee that he got a big win.

Wilson got away with murder because McCulloch wanted him to get away with it. He sandbagged the case instead of prosecuting it, throwing a mass of conflicting evidence at the grand jury, virtually tossing up his hands his and saying, “I don’t know. What do you guys think?” The overwhelmingly white grand jury, inclined to side with a white police officer who believed his life was in imminent danger from a large black man, took the unfocused mass of testimony and conflicting statements and punted.
