A Totally Wacky Christmas Eve Music Video: Giraffage, “Tell Me”

It’s a dog’s life
Music • Views: 32,751

Vimeo

This is one of the most fun videos I have had the honor of working on, and was happy to be brought on to this project as a writer, director of photography and 3D animator. Here is the popular electronic music artist, Giraffage. The video chronicles the story of four dogs that long for benefits that a life as a human would bring them. Their wish is granted and their dreams seem to be fulfilled… until the reality sinks in that being a human isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Thanks. Hey, how did your concert go last night?

It went really well and we got a lovely standing ovation at the end. :) It’s in an absolutely beautiful cathedral (this is a yearly thing) and it was so neat to play in that space.

I fumbled a few notes, but this is why I don’t play loudly in the ensemble. >.>

Still up in the air. The people sitting behind me HAVE NOT STOPPED SCREAMING THE ENTIRE FLIGHT. It’s like sitting in front of a screaming infant, except that screaming infants can’t control themselves and the air pressure hurts their little eardrums.

The people sitting behind me are a pair of women in their 20’s & 40’s.

Also they are screaming in that annoying uptone, where every sentence ends in a question?

The airplane noise drowned them out for a while but now they have adjusted their screaming so they are louder than the aircraft.

Those ISIS scumbags got lucky and shot down a Jordanian F-16. That would be bad enough, but they also captured the pilot. We’re going to have to figure out how to retrieve him, or he’s going to be murdered most foully.

His name is First Lieutenant Mu’ath Safi Yousef al-Kaseasbeh, and I’m hoping Jordan’s allies can engineer a Christmas miracle and get him home. What I actually expect to happen is another ISIS murder video. Those bastards have to be pounded into the ground, and this latest story just confirms it for me yet again.

If it was some unrelated gun, recovered not from his hand but from a nearby place, this will simply backfire on the police and will be that “earth-shattering” something that I mentioned above. And since I don’t take conspiracy theories about police planting evidence seriously (unless good evidence is provided, that is), I wouldn’t bet on that incident being an unjustified shooting.

Indeed, it would be stupid and a “drop piece” isn’t unknown to still happen. I’m not saying that’s what happened in this incident, just saying that I’m still waiting for more information.
As for cameras all around, if the police actually knew that and indeed disregarded activating dashcams and bodycams thinking that would help, then they really are hopeless.

Gun Used In NYPD Murders Was Sold At Pawn Shop Where Guns Regularly End Up In Criminals’ Hands

Although 57 percent of guns recovered and traced to crimes originate from just 1.2 percent of the nation’s gun dealers including Arrowhead, the government has taken little action to prevent illegal sales. Lawsuits against individual dealers are usually settled when the stores agree to short-term monitoring or minor changes in their sales policies.

I think my point (and one that Lawhawk was making downstairs this morning) is that the StLouis County PD have already shown in previous recent incidents that the information they provide bears no resemblance to truth. As such, I’m not taking any information released by Chief Belmar and his department without a truckload of skepticism.
It may well have been a justified shooting, but I’m not jumping on buying that conclusion just yet.

OK, back home finally. V doesn’t have sepsis thankfully. The incisions are infected, one quite badly.

Right now her stomach is so small everything passes right through it so any coated or large pills are pretty much useless. Of course the ER doc gave her huge gelcaps that may or may not have enough time to disolve in her stomach.

I’m scrambling here trying to find some way of getting the pills into her in a form that will work but won’t make her throw up and to make the ISOFlex and Soy milk combo unthrow-up-able.

Today I tried mixing some of her meds in with Jello, which she tolerates, but the bitterness made her throw up.

I just mixed some ISOFlex in with some Jello, but I think it settled to the bottom. I’m hoping the way I did it didn’t cook the ISOFlex.

Big Mac Attack!

Police: Man pulls gun after wrong McDonald’s order

The alleged perp, one Demetri Johnson, is still at large, along with three female accomplices.

Police said Johnson placed a drive-thru order early Thursday, received his food and pulled away. He drove back through the drive-thru, complained about the missing cheeseburger and the manager asked him to park and said he would bring out the missing sandwich.

The cheeseburger is not part of the eight items McDonald’s is cutting from its menu in select testing locations.

Johnson is accused of walking into the restaurant a few minutes later with a pistol, racking it and demanding that staff fix the order, police said. He and the three women with him also wanted fresh fries and new soft drinks. They left after receiving their food

Freepers, of course, are making much of Johnson’s apparent race, as though no white man has ever pulled a similarly stupid stunt.

Also, if you can get some and she’s not opposed to it, marijuana. Use a vaporizer. This is probably the solution with the least medical risk, though there’s the obvious legal risk.

Not something she would go for.

Bummer. It absolutely, completely cures nausea.

re: #87 b_sharp

I’ll do so.

If there’s abdominal pain as well, cramping, bloat, obstruction or gas they also make Levsin in sublingual form. It’s an anti-spasmodic that works on the gut muscles, relaxing everything up a bit. Those symptoms will often cause or worsen nausea.

He should be fired just because of that.

Great, and my statement about improbability already assumes the cop being stupid and dishonest as the worst case scenario. Still improbable.

Believe it or not, I’m not arguing with your position.
Just saying that improbable does not mean impossible.
Nor does it mean I should be all “rah rah, Chief Belmar haz explained it to my satisfaction, let’s just move on.”

It’s not Christmas yet, and they have emergency services. This is not something that should wait and I think the surgeon would agree. Make the call now.

Just saying that improbable does not mean impossible.

An infinite number of things are possible. It is even quantum-mechanically possible that physical monkeys will fly out of Chuck Johnson’s butt for a change. ;) There is actually a non-zero probability of it. It doesn’t mean that such a scenario should be seriously discussed. In real life we don’t use impossibility as a criterion, we use improbability.

Given all we know to date, (the gun plus the videos (not clearly showing a gun due to quality or angle, but showing Martin raising his hand and the cop’s reaction) plus Martin being a convict for armed robbery) Occam’s razor is pretty unambiguous on this one.

If new info comes up, then it goes into the equation and we get a new result.

Concur. Despite the SLCPD’s major FAILs and their obvious ongoing need for improvement, this shooting was in all probability actually justified.

And there is saddest part.
Evidence so far says, yeah, it’s maybe, probably, most likely, justified…BUT most people aren’t willing to believe it anymore.

Like I said, “boy called wolf” or in this case, the police claimed justified so many times when it wasn’t, now it might be, and very few are willing to suspend belief long enough to agree.
