Right wing loon Michael Savage has now crossed the line into outright white supremacism with his latest sick rant, recorded by Right Wing Watch.

“The white man is a quiet man and a peaceful man,” Savage said, “and right now the white man is very, very quiet, and very, very peaceful, and like many dictators before him, Barack Obama thinks the white man will remain quiet and subdued forever. Hitler made that mistake; Hitler boasted that his supermen, his Hitler Youth, would easily wipe the floor with the GI Joes that were being sent over…. But it was the white man who defeated Superman in World War II. Let me tell you something else, you push the white man only so far, you’re going to have a reaction like you’ve never seen.”

Savage added that Obama, whom he called a “lunatic” who hates America, is “flooding America with illegal aliens” and pushing for the Iranian nuclear negotiations to irritate and incite white people into a revolution.

Well shit. Just found out a friend of mine from high school has cancer. He’d been diagnosed with pneumonia and given medication for it, but wasn’t showing improvement. He goes back to the doctor and they ended up finding his lungs filled with fluid and some growths, so he wound up in surgery getting his lungs drained. The tests they ran on everything came back malignant.

I don’t know much more than that, but it still sucks. Bleah.

Well shit. Just found out a friend of mine from high school has cancer. He’d been diagnosed with pneumonia and given medication for it, but wasn’t showing improvement. He goes back to the doctor and they ended up finding his lungs filled with fluid and some growths, so he wound up in surgery getting his lungs drained. The tests they ran on everything came back malignant.

I don’t know much more than that, but it still sucks. Bleah.

A test to prove an autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) can be refueled in flight could happen by the end of this month, officials with Naval Air Systems Command told USNI News on Monday.

The test would pair a Northrop Grumman X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System demonstrator (UCAS-D) with a contracted tanker to prove out software that could allow future unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to be autonomously aerially refueled (AAR) in the same way the Navy’s current crop of carrier aircraft can take on fuel from tanker aircraft.

I’m starting to think that none of us are smart and focused enough to be able to handle the power to kill with the twitch of a finger.

My grandson bought a pellet gun (just for target practice) and a little metal target (also some zombie targets, for more fun). So yesterday on the patio I asked him to let me try it (it has a scope). One shot and I hit the target which is about 3 in in diameter (Ole Deadeye). Of course steadying the damn thing was the hard part (it’s heavy). I haven’t shot any weapon in 50 yrs and that was a rifle in the woods, just once, and I decided I didn’t like guns.

I’d probably use it to hit someone, if needed. : )

Police say a man had a gun in his pocket and it discharged when he stood up. The bullet grazed the man’s hand.

An Altoona newspaper reported the trigger caught on the man’s pants and the gun’s safety was not on.

An Ocala police officer died Monday evening after he was accidentally shot during firearms training, the police department said.

Officer Jared Forsyth, 33, was shot once in the upper chest at the firing range at the Lowell Correctional Institution (see map) about 3 p.m., police said.

Another officer was involved in the shooting, police said. Police have not named the second officer.

These be the Night Witches. The Russian military, either being sexist as hell or displaying an admirable sense of humor, gave these fine damsels the absolute most rubbish airplanes flown by anybody in all of World War II. We’re talking slow, horribly noisy, terrible handling obsolete biplanes. The Witches didn’t care, they happily took these flying piles of utter dogshit and figured out how to slaughter Germans with them by the metric fuckload. They’d climb up to altitude in the middle of the night (natch) then cut of their engines and glide in over their targets, only turning their engines back on after dropping their bombs, and presumably cackling mirthfully to the satisfying screams of men dying below.
