The Return of Crazy Eyes Bachmann: Obama Is ‘The Best Friend of Terrorists’

Michele gets loonier

Michele Bachmann may no longer be a member of Congress (whew), but she hasn’t forgotten how to rant like a street corner preacher. In an interview yesterday with a Florida talk radio station, she informed the always rational right wing base that President Obama ‘Has Been the Best Friend of Terrorists’ and he’s trying to start World War III. Also jihad.

After suggesting — falsely — that Obama intends to remove Iran from the list of state sponsors of terrorism, Bachmann said that the president is putting “Iran in the position where they would have the firepower to be able take out not only Israel, but they would have the firepower to use intercontinental ballistic missiles against the United States with nuclear-tipped warheads.”

“This virtually guarantees, in my opinion, a World War III,” she continued, “and that alone would qualify Barack Obama for being the worst president that the United States has ever had to endure.”

“He has now guaranteed that Iran will have a nuclear weapon,” she added.

“The Obama doctrine has been to offer aid and comfort to our enemies while he has cut off our allies,” Bachmann said. “Everything that he has done has been to lift up the agenda of Islamic jihad. He has furthered Islamic jihad across the world, and we’ve never seen anything like this before.”

Scammers do not like being exposed. In this case it’s probably harder since she’d have to accept that her husband is always going to be gay. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that, other than a marriage that’s a lie)

FORMER NORTH CAROLINA MAGISTRATES SUE OVER SAME-SEX MARRIAGES

abc11.com

“Former Swain County magistrate Gilbert Breedlove and former Graham County magistrate Thomas Holland are listed as plaintiffs in the lawsuit that was filed in Superior Court April 6.

“Breedlove, who also is an ordained minister, had been a magistrate for nearly 24 years.

“Same-sex unions became legal in North Carolina October 10 following a Supreme Court announcement that it would not hear the case of a 4th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruling in July that struck down Virginia’s gay marriage ban. The 4th Circuit has jurisdiction over North Carolina.” More

Living in NC, I can tell you exactly how these 2 got their jobs, esp in those 2 mountain counties.

Note that the same folks who bust a blood vessel about our deal with Iran being wrong because it does not require Iran to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist ignore that several of our other “allies” in the region either do not recognize Israel’s right to exist or refuse to recognize the existence of Israel altogether.

In the lawsuit filed this week, Breedlove and Holland argue that participating in same-sex marriages is in direct contravention of their religious beliefs, and therefore is unconstitutional.

Ok, I’m confused. Is someone putting a gun to their heads and demanding they perform gay weddings? Isn’t always up to the minister to decide whether or not he wants to perform a wedding if he gets asked to?

Osama bin Laden could not be reached for comment.
Anwar al Awlaki could not be reached for comment.

And the following list could not be reached for comment from the frontier provinces of Pakistan. It’s a pretty substantial list of #1 and #2s, plus all manner of assorted Taliban, AQ, and other affiliated groups.

Although this is from HuffPo, the writers are dead-on. I highly recommend this:

Here’s A News Report We’d Be Reading If Walter Scott’s Killing Wasn’t On Video

A North Charleston police officer was forced to use his service weapon Saturday during a scuffle with a suspect who tried to overpower him and seize the officer’s Taser, authorities said.

The man, who has a history of violence and a long arrest record, died on the scene as a result of the encounter, despite officers performing CPR and delivering first aid, according to police reports.

[…]

The incident occurred behind a pawn shop on Craig Street and Remount Road. Slager initially pulled Scott over for a broken taillight. During the stop, police and witnesses say Scott fled the vehicle on foot. When Slager caught up with him a short distance from the street, Scott reportedly attempted to overpower Slager. Police say that during the struggle, the man gained control of the Taser and attempted to use it against the officer.

It was during that scuffle that the officer fired his service weapon, fatally wounding Scott.

“Shots fired, and the subject is down. He took my Taser,” Slager radioed immediately following the shooting.

Owning A Canadian

On her radio show, Dr Laura Schlesinger said that, as an observant
Orthodox Jew, homosexuality is an abomination according to Leviticus
18:22, and cannot be condoned under any circumstance.

The following response is an open letter to Dr. Laura, written by a U.S.
man, and posted on the Internet. It’s funny, as well as informative:

Dear Dr. Laura:

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God’s Law. I
have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that
knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend
the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that
Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination … End of
debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some other
elements of God’s Laws and how to follow them.

1. Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and
female, provided they are from neighboring nations. A friend of mine
claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians.
Can you clarify? Why can’t I own Canadians?

2. I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in
Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair
price for her?

3. I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in
her period of Menstrual uncleanliness - Lev.15: 19-24.
The problem is how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women
take offense.

4. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates
a pleasing odor for the Lord - Lev.1:9. The problem is my neighbors.
They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

5. I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus
35:2 clearly states he should be put to death.
Am I morally obligated to kill him myself, or should I ask the police
to do it?

6. A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an
abomination, Lev. 11:10, it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality.
I don’t agree. Can you settle this? Are there ‘degrees’ of abomination?

7. Lev. 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I
have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses.
Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle-room here?

8. Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair
around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev.
19:27. How should they die?

9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes
me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev.19:19 by planting two
different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing
garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend).
He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary
that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to
stone them? Lev.24:10-16.
Couldn’t we just burn them to death at a private family affair, like
we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy
considerable expertise in such matters, so I’m confident you can
help.

Thank you again for reminding us that God’s word is eternal and
unchanging.

Your adoring fan,

James M. Kauffman, Ed.D. Professor Emeritus, Dept. Of Curriculum,
Instruction, and Special Education University of Virginia

Democrats don’t have an analogous “wing nut welfare” network that keeps ex-Congresspeople employed and/or pimps them out to talk shows (having Fox as a mouthpiece certainly helps in this regard).

1950. Right there is the issue. Even if it was forged, how would you/they/them know? 1950 is a long time back. But something’s up. Zona has a lot of Harleys and a lot of shops and a bit more folks wearing rockers. Good luck.

This is probably the 5th or 6th early 50s Harley that hubs has restored or built from ground up over the past couple of decades, so he isn’t a novice at this. First time we’ve ever had this problem.

I wonder if maybe it’s because the Right’s favorite blowhards lack any sense of shame? I mean, Gingrich lost his Speakership over adultery and corruption, but he’s brazened it out and now can even be taken seriously as a candidate. It is indisputable that Zimmerman killed Martin. We have only Zimmerman’s word to go on things, and the local PD did their best pre-impression of the FPD in mucking up the facts/evidence, etc.

That’s a report that is twice as long by half.

If there was no video of the incident, it would barely rate a mention in the local paper other than to indicate that a local cop survived a deadly run-in with a man who attempted to flee after assaulting the cop during a routine vehicle stop. It would then go into how heroic the cop’s actions were to prevent further loss of life or property.

Don’t be silly!

If a white guy gets a Not Guilty verdict, not only is he completely exonerated, but it was a crime to have ever even considered putting him on trial in the first place.

If a black guy gets a Not Guilty verdict… well, you know how those minority juries hate to convict One Of Their Own!

Considering how badly it looks like Slager lied on his official report in this shooting, a review of that excessive force report should likewise receive renewed scrutiny. Like I noted Tuesday, I imagine there’s some folks in the SC AG’s office who are experiencing some heartburn over the revelation that this guy is a comfortable liar.

It would appear that the cops did their best to leave a minimal paper trail of the investigation of the excessive force accusation.

The next day, an angry Mario Givens went downtown to police headquarters and filed a formal complaint. He and his mother say several neighbors who witnessed what happened on the family’s front lawn also contacted the police, though they say officers refused to take their statements.

How can cops refuse to take someone’s statement? Heads should roll.
