Chuck C. Johnson Trespasses and Tampers With Garland Crime Scene, Posts Photos of It

He should be arrested for this
Wingnuts • Views: 38,526

As usual, our stalker pal Chuck C. Johnson (who is NOT ME) is trying to elbow his way into the story of the shootings in Garland, Texas — he went to the scene of the attack and actually posted pictures of himself trespassing and tampering with the crime scene, and boasting about it.

Notice that Johnson calls the yellow tape “caution tape.” Uh, no. It’s clearly marked, “CRIME SCENE - DO NOT CROSS.” That’s a bit stronger than a “caution,” wouldn’t you say?

He broke the law here, clearly and obviously, then posted the evidence himself and bragged about it. The fact is that deliberately crossing into a marked police investigation scene is a crime, and carries a possible prison sentence.

I notified Garland PD about this clear case of obstruction of justice and trespassing — if you have a Twitter account, please retweet these to bring it to the police’s attention:

17 lawhawk  May 4, 2015 11:15:26am

What more is he getting by violating the crime scene perimeter? Photos that other media outlets already have (with bigger/better lenses, or via helicopter?!)

He’s engaging in actions that can hamper the investigation. Trespassing. Obstruction of justice.

But he gets to claim he was there. Woo.

The rest of the media is there too - and not for nothing, they’re respecting the crime scene tape and not doing anything that might be an issue with the investigation (like say give some defense attorney an excuse to throw out evidence from this scene down the line in defending some as-yet unidentified coconspirator if one exists). So, if there is evidence in these areas that might lead to another coconspirator or others who are taken into custody, they would then point to the crime scene and that people like Chuckles got into the scene and may have tampered with the evidence - if Chuckles could get in, so could others and therefore the evidence should be excluded.

That’s why cops put up crime scene tape. That’s why they need to preserve the scene. Forensics and Criminal Procedure 101.

But Chuckles plays expert in AssHat 101.

Pamela Geller does have a 1st Amendment right to hold events like this. And we have a duty to use our 1st Amendment right to call her out for years of spreading hatred and evil.

She doesn’t deserve to be attacked for it. On the other hand, this is exactly what she’s been trying to provoke for a long, long time, and she’s going to capitalize on it to spread even more hatred and division.

This guy is the Kim Kardashian of right wing world. He wants nothing more than to be famous - and he would be famous for no reason at all.

Remember, his TV wishes are to be on Jeopardy (guess he’s too lazy to apply), to be on c-span, and to be one of the big cheeses on Shark Tank (?) with money to invest in other businesses (he’d have a better shot at being one of the people begging for investors—which he does on a daily basis. He’d probably get laughed off the stage when he presented his “new paradigm for crowd-sourced, crowd-funded journamalism” and then get all huffy and stomp off.)

Number of days since cops last shot someone = 0.

Number of days since cop shot and killed in line of duty = 0.

But the NRA would remind everyone that guns aren’t the problem. They’re only the answer to all of life’s problems.

The NRA has a very distorted worldview if they think that the answer to all the misery caused by firearms (suicides, homicides, etc.) is simply to arm even more people with firearms. The right to bear arms is not without responsibilities - and we as a nation have forgotten that rights and responsibilities go hand in hand.

DEVELOPING: Baltimore police shot a man Monday in the same area where massive riots broke out last week over the death of Freddie Gray.

It’s unclear what prompted the shooting. A Fox News crew witnessed a young black male running from police before he was shot.

It’s not known whether the unidentified man was armed. A gun was reportedly found nearby on a sidewalk.

A crowd quickly formed around the man, who was seen on a stretcher as he was being loaded into an ambulance. His condition is unknown.

The Baltimore Police tweeted the man was shot “multiple times.”

I guess that sinks the “he shot himself in the back” thing.

foxnews.com

142 lawhawk  May 4, 2015 12:25:59pm

Other tweets say that the man dropped the gun and it went off.

I just love eyewitness testimony.

It’s about the only thing that is seemingly less reliable is law enforcement reliability given the way that we’ve seen them manipulate crime scenes in just the past month (like moving evidence to indicate that a struggle took place where none did, or claiming that a ride to the police station took x, but video obtained independently shows that to be false, etc), or using forensics that was unadulterated BS).

How LIFE Magazine Covered the Kent State Shootings

LIFE dedicated its cover to the shooting on May 15, with an image of a wounded student looking skyward. Correspondents interviewed the parents of the dead, two of whom had been protesting and two of whom were passersby caught in the crossfire. Said the father of Allison Krause, who belonged to the former category, “Is this dissent a crime? Is this a reason for killing her?”

I agree that eyewitness testimony is much worse than its reputation. However, the same is true for much of what passes for scientific evidence in courtrooms. Apparently FBI hair analysis has been total garbage for decades.

There isn’t an easy solution to this. Few cases actually have decent evidence one way or the other.

re: #229 EPR-radar

I agree that eyewitness testimony is much worse than its reputation. However, the same is true for much of what passes for scientific evidence in courtrooms. Apparently FBI hair analysis has been total garbage for decades.

There isn’t an easy solution to this. Few cases actually have decent evidence one way or the other.

Independently corroborated multiple eyewitness testimony is one thing, single witnesses must be taken with a large grain of salt.

It goes without saying that he saves his disapproval for the untidy and disordered blah folk who keep getting on the wrong side of bullets and police batons.

theamericanconservative.com

Money quote here:

Anyway, order for me is not an aesthetic concern, but a moral one. A mob is the enemy of the things I value most. One of the most traumatic events of my life had to do with a mob of bullies who held me down and abused me while the two adults in charge did nothing to stop them — not because they could not, but because they would not. Once violence starts, I find it hard to fault authority for stopping it by any means necessary.

The anarchy I worry about is not the anarchy of poor black people in West Baltimore, or anywhere else. The anarchy I worry about is the anarchy within the hearts and communities of people like me — people who outwardly live lives of prosperity and normality, but who, in their hearts, believe that they and their appetites are the only authority they should follow. This is why I am so perpetually alarmed about our culture: it is fundamentally anarchic, because there is buried within our culture no source of order outside the Self.</blockquote>

Order is more important than justice…and if you have to shoot some blahs to keep Rod and the white folks from being scared, well, ” I find it hard to fault authority for stopping it by any means necessary.”

The man is practically begging for an iron boot to stomp on his neck and force him to be good and ordered. He is actually frightened of freedom to be anything other than what he thinks God is demanding, and he wants iron boots for everyone (for their own good, mind you).

Oh, and he needs the blahs to stop scaring him with all that Satanic disorder.

Somebody get this man a competent therapist.

Eyewitness testimony is shit. The more studies come out about how unreliable perception and memory is the more I wonder if it should be allowed in court at all.

Baby, bathwater.

E.g. you can’t have real Holocaust history without testimonies. Neither would have many war crimes been possible.

The solution is to try and substantiate any given testimony with other evidence. And to have as many testimonies as possible.

Also, Geller’s lawyer:

splcenter.org

In October 2010, Geller told The New York Times she was profoundly affected by the 9/11 attacks. After contributing essays to various websites that examined Muslim militancy, including Charles Johnson’s Little Green Footballs, she launched her own website. She named her website “Atlas Shrugs” in honor of right-wing hero and self-described objectivist author Ayn Rand, a Geller idol whose 1957 novel Atlas Shrugged celebrates pure capitalism unrestrained by government regulation or social welfare measures. The unvarnished anti-Muslim stridency of Atlas Shrugs won followers; Geller republished the 2005 cartoons of Muhammad from the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, for example, when most other media demurred.

Johnson, a moderate conservative, later broke sharply with Geller, calling her an anti-Muslim “hatemonger.” After Geller, who is Jewish, posted a critique of the Islamic halal practice of slaughtering animals for food in September 2010, Johnson pointed out that kosher practice is almost identical and observed, “My GOD she is stupid.”

Reading around it appears there are many an upset Westerner race fan, Many mentioning their human rights violations, etc. There are already two events in the Middle East and folks have grudgingly accepted them.

I’ll hold my thinking for now. Maybe this and Iran working out a pact with the West regarding nukes is a signal they want to change and join the Western world and move on from their current position in the world.

The Iranian government has announced a plan to build a Formula 1-spec circuit on Qeshm Island in the south of the country.

The head of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO), Masoud Soltanifar, announced in a visit to the region earlier this week that plans were being formulated to build a circuit and create “the world’s most beautiful Formula 1 destination”.

“Iran has so many young people with an increasing tendency for driving,” Soltanifar is quoted as saying by IRNA. “Formula 1 has a great future in Iran.”

According to IRNA, Iran has previously planned to build a circuit on the outskirts of the nation’s capital, Tehran. However, its focus appears to have now shifted to the island in the Persian Gulf.

Qeshm Island is a duty free zone with a population of 100,000 people, and has some tourism history with an ancient Portuguese fort and mosques being points of interests for those visiting the area.

The Middle East has proven to be a popular region for F1 over the past ten years. Successful races have been held in Bahrain (pictured) and Abu Dhabi, whilst Qatar is also known to be chasing a race in the region.

so, who pays for their care when they are out of prison?

If they’re disabled, as many could be, Medicare and/or Medcaid. And the care would probably be better than what they could get in the prison system which probably contributed to their ill health.

Plus, just being out of a cage would improve their chances of staying alive.

Prison should be rehabilitative, not cost you your life, esp for non-violent offenses.

I agree, but the poster seemed to be making about point about economics and tax-payer dollars. Releasing them will not save tax payer dollars —only under one particular line item in the overall budget —that of the prison system. It will increase total costs in a different or many different lines of the budget.

Yeah, this was my thought, If you want to make a humanitarian argument for it, that is all well and good, but if someone is old or disabled and have been in prison for a while they are probably going to be using medicare/medicaid, foodstamps, public or subsidized housing. Certainly won’t save any money unless there is someone taking responsibility for them on the outside.

There’s also housing to consider. Someone released from prison because they’re old and need medical services is going to find it impossible to find affordable housing. They’d have to be released into some kind of a group home setting.

It is also concerning that someone who has been in prison for many years is very likely to be without any family or support system outside. The person is also likely to lack self-discipline that would be required to take meds, make appointments, etc. For an elderly person with disabilities/health problems it could be a death sentence.

Well, I know it’s not a popular thought but if we are going to have armed police, then they need, actually even more training time on those firearms. I don’t think most people understand that they are not as simple to employ safely as Hollywood and TV make it seem. Perhaps if we passed a law only allowing less lethal weapons like tasers the training could be cut back but not so long as firearms are carried.

That’s not to say that the de-escalation and other training doesn’t need massive increases as well.

The reality is that the most important jobs in America - teachers, firefighters, police, child care providers, health care providers and so on - don’t receive enough proper training or pay. Instead we let CEOs have the money and begrudge those hard at work for needing to actually learn their jobs and the paid time that really takes.

If kids are not having any sexual activity, they can’t get this disease … That’s not a bad program,” Rumage said.

Thanks. Glad to know that my impression was wrong.

I do know, however, that the “local” sporting club has dummy deer for the bow and arrow people. Occasionally someone is lazy and leaves their arrow in it. The local sheriff’s office will a call that someone is trying to kill deer in the county …

Targets come in all kinds of shapes. Human forms come from police training/defensive shooting training. Get the eye and sight picture dialed in on the most recommended aim-center of mass. Not pretty, not designed to teach suffering but just to be the most effective. And not have a stray bullet from a miss go flying down the street in a real defensive shooting.

Polar Chevrolet in White Bear Lake, MN has had a giant polar bear holding a Chevrolet sign for as long as I can remember, and it’s still there.

For the longest time, it had one arrow sticking into it’s navel. They waited a long time before they finally pulled it out.

What is the deal with Carly Fiorina?

Fiorina was considered one of the most powerful women in business during her tenure at Lucent and Hewlett-Packard. In 2002, Fiorina pushed for a contentious merger with rival computer company Compaq, which made HP the world’s largest personal computer manufacturer[2] but made its stock lose half of its value.[3] In 2005, Fiorina resigned from HP.[4] Since then she has been described as one of the worst tech CEOs of all time.[5][6][7][8] Fiorina ordered the layoffs of 30,000 HP employees during her tenure.[9]

Fiorina served as an advisor to Republican John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign. She was the Republican nominee for the United States Senate from California in 2010, losing to incumbent Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer.[10] On May 4, 2015, Fiorina announced on Good Morning America that she is running for President of the United States in 2016.[11]

She doesn’t have a winning track record. Who is going to invest in her?

Oh, she made some people a lot of money. It used to be you bought stock in a company, and if the stock went up you made money, and if it went down you lost money. Now, you can bet the stock will go down, and if it does you make money. And these gambling winnings become part of our GDP. Just one of the perverse things that’s destroying our economy.

Anyway, a lot of the big money boys would stand to clean up from her Scott Walker-style demolition of the US economy, and she’s demonstrated the ability to accomplish that.

CEO disease is common enough that variants have become well known.

For example, aggravated CEO disease, where career progress and total compensation increase steadily as the record of total failure gets longer and longer.

Fiorina is a textbook example of this.

Pamela Geller’s cartoon contest was held in the very same venue, Garland ISD’s Curtis Culwell Center, as the “Stand With the Prophet Against Terror and Hate” event held in January by various local Muslims. The latter event attracted hundreds of droolingly insane fundy protestors, who either did not understand, or did not believe, the stated purpose of the event.

Hundreds Protest Islamic ‘Stand With the Prophet’ Conference in Texas

One of the local residents who protested outside of the event was Vietnam veteran Jeff Higgins, who lost both legs while serving in the Armed Forces. He told WND that he was concerned that “Islam was gaining a foothold in Garland.”

“This is my backyard,” Higgins stated. “We live under the American law, not Shariah law and I know that ultimately, that’s their goal, is to bring Shariah law to America. This is the first kind of, in-your-face attempt to do that. I know they’ll say this is about peace, but peace means submission to them.”

Tim Lee, who also is a Vietnam veteran, also told the publication that he feared what might become of the nation in light of the insurgency of Islam.

“America was built upon God and the word of God, not Allah, not Muhammad.” He said. “The Muslim religion is a religion of death. They kill people, innocent people, little children, chop heads off, and we are going to bring this to Garland, Texas?”

I’ld like to see these guys’ DD214s.

Obviously something very bad happened to the double amputee but that does not in and of itself constitute veteran status.
In 1963, my mother’s cousin suffered severe burns over 60% of his body and required a great deal of reconstructive surgery. It happened because he was trying to clean paint off a concrete floor with gasoline. That is a real tragedy and he suffered great pain. That is no excuse though for him claiming that he was actually burned in a helicopter shoot down in Vietnam, a yarn he tells to this day. In fact, he never served in the military.
