Unfortunately, that’s just typical of these assholes. Smear a dead woman who can’t defend herself. I’ve never seen a president’s mother take the smearing that Obama’s has and they love to attack her since Ann Dunham married non white men. Fucking bigots. There’s a reason why Chuckles is saying that “she” is posing for Frank Davis in that picture to get the crazy old bigots blood boiling that think any white woman that sleeps with a black woman is a harlot.

Yeah “Team Marco” like this hasn’t been happening under Obama. I mean Osama Bin Laden is still on the loose. They never got the Boston Marathon bomber either. Oh wait? You mean they got both of them and what’s that? You mean Marco still calls the president weak on terrorism. Well color me fucking shocked.

Jeb must have REALLY wanted to skip the South Carolina hootenanny. Way back in March, he told them he was speaking at a commencement in Florida.

“Jeb Bush and I have communicated,” Duncan said. “He has a commencement address in Florida that day that is precluding his having the ability to come.”

Either that, or Duncan is really bad at geography.

Wonder how they’ll change the rules to make sure ICarly is allowed into the debates? I believe they set the threshold at 5% and I think she’s somewhere between 1 and 2%.

Question—why is Marsha Blackburn there? Holy mother of pearl—please tell me that idiot isn’t thinking of running for pres.

Personally, the one question I want to ask all these candidates more than anything is “Being as specific as you can, tell us how you would defeat ISIS in a manner different than President Obama already is doing.” If they start nattering about sending more troops, then the follow-up questions: “Are you suggesting you want to start another war in the Middle East? Against who and in support of what?”

Really, most questions to the GOP candidates should boil down to “What would you do that the President isn’t already doing?” But I don’t live under any illusion that a GOP debate moderator would actually have the balls to do that, or to hold their feet to the fire when they use a lot of empty rhetoric to imply that they’d do something “better” than what is already being done.

President Obama says Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., is ‘absolutely wrong’ on opposition to Pacific free-trade pact - @YahooPolitics

yahoo.com

(snip)

“Think about the logic of that, right?” he went on. “The notion that I had this massive fight with Wall Street to make sure that we don’t repeat what happened in 2007, 2008. And then I sign a provision that would unravel it?

“I’d have to be pretty stupid,” Obama said, laughing. “This is pure speculation. She and I both taught law school, and you know, one of the things you do as a law professor is you spin out hypotheticals. And this is all hypothetical, speculative.”

Obama wasn’t through. He wanted me to know, in pointed terms, that for all the talk about her populist convictions, Warren had a personal brand she was trying to promote, too. More

Ah, the good old days. Remember when it was mostly the left who opposed military exercises?

Urban Warrior Invades San Francisco (1999)

Worth noting: Whether you agree with them or not, the objections expressed in this video are based on environmental and political concerns that are at least part of the real world. This is a striking and very significant contrast to the batshit crazy alternate world fantasies that underpin the far right’s hysteria over Jade Helm.

As a reformed conservative sinner, I must offer a confession of sorts. Sometimes I miss hating on the moonbats. They were soft and crunchy at the same time, and the combination of pachouli and granola was surprisingly flavorful, and satisfying. We still do get the chance once in a while, when Code Pink raises its brainless head for example, but opportunities are few and far between.

The real reason for this disparity in criticism is that leftist wackos are in no position to take over government or influence policy, while rightwing crazies have taken over whole states and have a non-negligible chance of seizing the White House.
There is also a very important difference in methodology between left and right. Imagine the reaction if radical leftists and anarchists were openly stockpiling millions of automatic weapons and billions of rounds of ammunition for the avowed purpose of resisting federal authority, and their leaders were gleefully and publicly urging them to do so.

You were a whole lot closer than wiki—here, this will make you smile:

Many profiles drew attention to Dr. Garrett’s devotion to craft, but he was a notably good-humored man who treasured the “Golden Turkey” award bestowed on “Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster,” a cheapie Hollywood film he wrote as a lark in 1965. He was teaching at U-Va. at the time and named the crazed general in the fright movie after the English department chairman.

He liked to joke that the film, also released as “Mars Invades Puerto Rico,” was “the only movie I’ve ever seen that’s greatly enhanced by regular commercial interruption.”

South Carolina hosts the GOP candidates at the South Carolina Freedom Summit and an unusually early Tropical Storm will hit their state weeks before the official start of Hurricane Season tonight.

Coincidence?

Wish it would track closer to Greenville than the coast—could solve a whole lot of problems. (Still nothing much happening with the storm here at the beach. Kind of gray, but no wind and no rain thus far.)

Why do they lie so, when the truth is so easy to find?

Actually, head of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson represented the Obama admin.

Moore’s wake yesterday afternoon was also attended by massive crowds, including New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson.

But that doesn’t stop serial liar and idiot Allen West from picking up the story and running with it.

BeachDem, stay safe from the storms and wandering GOP hopefuls.

THAT’S OBAMA’S MOM HOLDING A GUN AT THE BEACH! IT MUST HAVE BEEN IN WITH THE PRON PICTURES!

See how Obama is going against his mama’s wishes by trying to ban guns!!

Is that thing in Greenville? Right there in Dominionistville?

That area scares me. I made many trips in the ‘90 down there because my aunt & uncle moved to Simpsonville, where their son was and she was sick.

If it’s not church, it’s the all you can eat buffet—and both a couple of times a week.

Thanks. They’ve already started with their constant presence here. Last time around, I thought Michele Bachmann had moved in for the duration, she was here so often. (I even had to suffer through Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich fouling the air at an MLK breakfast because they had a debate here that night.)
