Chuck Johnson Registers Another Twitter Account, Is Suspended Again, Registers Another, Threatens to Sue Me

Flailing
Weird • Views: 57,635

This morning Chuck Johnson tried to get back on Twitter despite being suspended yesterday, by registering a new account with the name @citizentrolling.

And in short order, this account was suspended too. So Chuck being Chuck, he immediately registered another account: @freechucknow. And one of the first things he did with this account was threaten to sue me. A screenshot (instead of an embedded tweet, because I have a feeling this account will be going away soon):

Chuck has now been suspended from Twitter five times, and is heading for a sixth.

UPDATE at 5/25/15 10:59:07 am by Charles Johnson

We should also note that what Chuck Johnson is doing is a direct violation of the Twitter Rules:

Serial Accounts: You may not create multiple accounts for disruptive or abusive purposes, or with overlapping use cases. Mass account creation may result in suspension of all related accounts. Please note that any violation of the Twitter Rules is cause for permanent suspension of all accounts.

UPDATE at 5/25/15 11:17:46 am by Charles Johnson

Chuck Johnson has now confirmed that his original account with more than 25,000 followers is gone for good. He tweeted this with his new account, @freechucknow:

Doesn’t he realize that registering sock after sock is going to ultimately hurt his chances of not being permanently banned?

I always knew that punk was stupid, but I had no idea he was this stupid.

So Chucks belief that Blacks are intellectually inferior plays no role in how he is perceived on Twitter?

The fact that he calls them thugs, animals, uses the n-word, and covets his following of white supremacists means nothing?

Perhaps in another context with another person, saying you want to “take out” someone could be accepted in another light. But he gets no such benefit after his racist trolling for years.

He knew exactly how his words would be interpreted. They were chosen deliberately. But he thought it was just ambiguous enough that he could run away from them, while entertaining his “supreme” brothers.

Part of CCJ’s obnoxious odor is his racism, or “race realism” as the racists like to color themselves.

I wonder how in America this movement is thriving, or not… given the widespread ODS.

Look at the comments on this Yahoo news story:

Dutch immigrant kids take to street demanding ‘white’ classmates

Thousands of comments and a great many of them are ugly.

Hating the other is as old as man, but I wonder how much the modern devices of hate-media (talk radio, Faux News, etc.) have focused that into certain directions in the past decade or two.

Please note that any violation of the Twitter Rules is cause for permanent suspension of all accounts. [emphasis added]

Twitter can and will ban people (including Chucky via the revolving door suspension) for engaging in behaviors that include doxing, lying, stalking, harassing, or otherwise being a smear merchant.

You may not engage in targeted abuse or harassment. Some of the factors that we take into account when determining what conduct is considered to be targeted abuse or harassment are:
if you are sending messages to a user from multiple accounts;
if the sole purpose of your account is to send abusive messages to others;
if the reported behavior is one-sided or includes threats

That Chucky didn’t bother to read this isn’t surprising. That his lawyers didn’t? This reads like something put together in the hopes of someone unsophisticated might cave in and do what the guy with the .Esq wrote. A lawyer at Twitter, on the other hand, would laugh it off, and reply with the TOS and rules of use, quoting section and verse.

Or that Chucky thinks that Twitter owes him a living? Really? That’s absurd.

That’s like me saying that should I be banned from here for attacking and threatening other posters, that I can sue Charles for losing my livelihood because I no longer have the right to post here (on a privately owned/operated website that isn’t a government entity).

re: #230 Charles Johnson

If Chuck and his lawyer go through with these threats, they’re in for a seriously rude awakening. This is totally frivolous.

Yep, that rude awakening coming when the judge throws out the case in five minutes flat.

Then, presumably, Chuck will doxx the judge.

Hilarity ensues.

Does Chuck have the money for a lawsuit?

Did he have the money to “run” his extortion plan “past five different lawyers”? Maybe he had a coupon.

A judge would dismiss this in summary judgment because the Twitter TOS/rules of use are unambiguous and allow Twitter to shutter any offending account. You do not have the right to a Twitter account to carry on harassment and abuse, even if that is your supposed business plan.

And that he created multiple accounts now to try and do the same? All would be banned/suspended for violating the TOS under the original/primary account.

He should take this time to step away from this kind of thing for a bit and maybe reevaluate his life plan. However I fully expect him to switch all his time and energy from twitter to white nationalist forums and MRA sites.

The lawyers who wrote up that letter ought to be ashamed of themselves for not actually reading the Twitter TOS and rules of use.

Twitter can and will ban people who establish multiple accounts for exactly what Chucky did.

The part that has me rolling is how he wants to “build a memorandum of understanding between members of the press/media entities and [Twitter]” and tries to lecture them on the “burden” they have in not hurting the “economic interests” of people who use their service. He really does seem to think he is anything but a hack journalist whose just lost his biggest source of recognition.

And they want photos, videos of Twitter employees interactions with Twitter users preserved as evidence?

IOW, they want the privacy of others violated to make their case.

Idiots.

I think the attorney is a personal injury attorney and basically took one of his boiler plate letters and tweaked it even though half of it doesn’t make any sense.

Who does Lionel Hutz since Phil Hartman died?

They retired his characters, IIRC, like they did Marcia Wallace’s when she passed away a year or two ago.

How Fox and the Simpsons production team are gonna handle Harry Shearer’s leaving the cast, I have no idea, since he voices so many main and recurring characters.

Frankly, 26 years is a damn good run…maybe it’s time to take a bow.
