In Which Chuck Johnson Ordains Himself as the “ORACLE of TRUTH”

You couldn’t invent this level of narcissistic bogosity
Weird • Views: 31,425
Chuck C. Johnson smiling next to Lee Harvey Oswald's sniper rifle at the JFK Museum in Dallas

Cyberstalker Chuck Johnson has been ejected from Twitter, and it’s finally sinking in to his strange brain that this is for real this time … so now he’s falling back on Facebook to try to promote a pathetic petition he thinks will get his Twitter account reinstated: (31) Got News - Sign the Change.org Petition to Reinstate Charles C….

The random capitalization and paranoid self-aggrandizement are there as usual, and the bizarre third person references to “Mr. Johnson,” but did you know Chuck considers himself to be an ORACLE?

Me neither. But this is why everyone FEARS him, because he is THE ORACLE OF TRUTH.

Sign the Change.org Petition to reinstate Charles C. Johnson’s Twitter accounts @ChuckCJohnson and @gotnewsdotcom. Mr. Johnson fights for truth in a world increasingly dominated by political correctness. Homophobia, Islamophobia, Misogyny and Racism are most often propagandistic labels that have been coined by Fascists and used by Cowards, to manipulate Morons. Mr. Johnson fights political correctness by going head to head with individuals that that use these hyperbolic tools and is routinely tarred with the brush of “Troll” when “Oracle” is probably more appropriate. Politicians and “Journalists” fear him because, in the end, he holds no loyalty to anything but the truth. Restore Mr. Johnson’s Twitter accounts, and return credibility to Twitter.

Well I am glad his time away from Twitter has taught him humility. The Oracle of Ginger is surely missed on Twitter for his insights and wisdom.

Dang strange weather. April is back. 51° currently and rain forecast everyday this week except Tuesday.

Currently the wind of the cold front and the pressure changes are acting like ghosts on my house…opening and closing doors and swing out windows I have on the side walls.

Gonna put the ghosts down for the night. See you all later.

Well gang, I’m off to bed. Longish day today, and the new fins I’m trying really gave my legs a hell of a workout. I like them, very precise in the water, excellent feedback, but I’m going to have to build up my legs to really be able to enjoy them.

Here’s a couple of shots I grabbed of the quarry, we are setup down in the lower right part of the picture, where the banner is.

Same old shit, focusing on the ambiguous meaning of “take out” as if Twitter didn’t make it clear to Chuck that he was suspended for “targeted abuse.”

The timeline makes it clear he was discussing doxing. Chuck’s lawyer made it clear his intent was doxing. Doxing is targeted abuse. Chuck had been suspended three previous times for doxing.

His supporters are clinging to a thin and patently dishonest pretext of an argument and it’s utterly pathetic.

Heh I wasn’t aware of that. I was always amused by the allegation that Wiki is liberally biased given that Jimmy Wales is a self described Objectivist. Terrible philosophy but I’ve never seen any examples of that getting in the way of Wiki’s model. In fact, I think it’s a brilliant concept. Makes information easy and quick to access. Now one should obviously never write a paper sourcing wiki but it’s a terrific thing to look at get a basic idea about a person or concept.

50 allegro  May 31, 2015 8:50:43pm

In my summer field sessions I would invariably have a Chuck in there, a guy who strutted and knew everything. He (always a he) was the great hunter, afeared a nuthin, I’ll save ya, little lady. Those were the guys I’d send first into The Barn, a particularly large bat colony in a long abandoned barn, to live collect 10 bats to test and tag from a population I’d observed for many years. Totally easy assignment really, just little brown bats smaller than the palm of your hand… if you have a clue.

Those guys would tear outa that barn pissing their jeans (sometimes literally) when those little harmless bats would latch onto their pant legs and scramble up to get enough height to get airborne. I’d kinda not let them in on that first. Hey, they know it all, right? I was all about learning opportunities.

I have little patience for those who claim expertise when they haven’t even begun to learn their craft. Chuck is getting sent to The Barn here.

Chuck doesn’t get it.

If a privately owned theater doesn’t like an offensive play, they do not have to allow it to run in their building.

Twitter is over his self proclaimed “performance art” on their stage. It is not funny, it is not provocative, it is not serious. It is just mean spirited and ugly. Period.

He is welcome to all the free speech he can handle on his own website

And good grief, with all the idiots promoting FreeChuck, they have only managed to get little over 250 signatures on that stupid petition in 3 days.

Real impressive. I’m sure Twitter is trembling.

Yeah they provide a really valuable resource as opposed to conserveopdia which is where you go where you want to hear a Schalfry tell you how awesome conservatism is and how awesome liberalism is for the 10006th time. Yeah I was struck by the opening pieces’s beauty and wanted to search more on it and read about Coles. There’s another good one I found on Netflix that deals with the stories of people from all walks of live and nationalities. Everyone from a British volunteer nurse to a Cossack girl who joined Russian empire’s army. I don’t know of any family of mine that was in WWI but I do think about the impact it had on my family since most of my great and great great grandparents were born in the empires that took part in the war.

Wikipedia shouldn’t be used for one’s doctoral thesis, but is extremely useful for ascertaining assorted facts. In the last twenty-four hours I’ve used it to find out:

a) how long should one cook new potatoes (krieltjes).

There’s an interesting pattern to UpChuck’s Twitter usage. It spiked up sharply in May-June 2014 and pretty much stayed there until his banishment to Tartaros. I’m referring to his tweet archive at his vanity site. Until mid-2014 he averaged a few hundred tweets a month. In May ‘14 it topped 1,000, and after that he managed a few thousand a month. In Dec. ‘14, he tweeted a bit over 6,000 — that’s 200 tweets a day!

In his interview with Milo, he mentioned he had read some book about the Twitter protocol and it helped him understand the Twitter “algorithm.” His Twitter use, he says, was aimed at exploiting the algorithm to his advantage.

Until he broke it.

Subject: Please correct errors on your page devoted to Jacob Moses Ezekiel

I ask you to remove certain Northern propaganda and misstatements of fact from Moses Ezekiel’s page. Ezekiel is a personal hero of mine, and my great grandfather also fought for the South.

Your article states:
Ezekiel later explained his reasons for going to VMI and, by implication, fighting for the Confederacy. He asserted that he’d gone there, not to defend slavery—an institution which, in this thinking, had unfortunately been inherited and limited by Virginia. Rather, Ezekiel further asserted, he went there to defend Virginia when she seceded to avoid providing troops to the Union to “subjugate her sister Southern states”. These views were typical of the VMI cadets of that period, ignoring the fact that his state in 1868 had the largest slave population in the South and, over the previous 30 years, had exported 200,000 slaves to the other Southern states.

The last sentence of this paragraph is a non-sequitur, and even if true, does not in any way refute the views of the VMI cadets of that time period. So why did you put it in? The reason, I presume, is to take a gratuitous slap at Virginia and the South. Allow me to correct your erroneous views on the subject.

There was no slave population in Virginia in 1868. The 13th Amendment, freeing all slaves, was passed by Congress on December 18, 1865.

Virginia was one of the five states who did not secede with the first six states who did. Virginia was willing to stay with the Union, and there was no Northern plan of any kind to force Virginia to emancipate its slaves. Slavery was not the issue, in spite of 150 years of propaganda to that effect. Virginia and four other states only seceded when Lincoln asked them to supply troops to force the first six seceding states back into the Union. They refused to fight fellow Southerners, and they did not agree that the Union was indivisible. Indeed, Virginia was one of three states that acceded to the Union with the express proviso that it could later leave the Union if it proved contrary to its interests (the other two states who had the same proviso were the Northern states of New York and Rhode Island). So Ezekiel’s understanding of Virginia’s reasons for secession were better than yours: to avoid supplying troops to coerce other sovereign states.

Virginia had the largest population of any Southern state in 1860, and therefore had the highest number of slaves as a result. Virginia’s percentage of slaves in the population was 30.75%, compared to North Carolina (33.35%) and South Carolina (57.18%). The Northern states had none to speak of in 1860 - Delaware had 3% of its population as slaves, Kentucky, 23%, and Maryland 12%. At what percentage level do you consider slavery acceptable? Should Moses Ezekiel have had access to 1860 census data? Was there some established marker of proper slavery percentage that Ezekiel should have been aware of? I think you can see what I am doing: I am illustrating the impertinence and irrelevance of your observation about slave populations to the story of Jacob Moses Ezekiel. You should delete this gratuitous slap at Virginia as it adds no understanding to the story, and does not in the least undermine Virginia’s right to secede or defend itself against a foreign invasion.

As for exporting slaves, no state in the South exported slaves from their home in Africa, that was all done by Northern slave traders in Northern ships. The Yankee state of Rhode Island was the most notorious slave merchant in the nation, building and operating an impressive fleet of ships that they built for that purpose. Other slave trading states included the Northern states of Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. Again, your pointing out that Virginia exported slaves to other states is impertinent, irrelevant and, in fact, erroneous. The State of Virginia didn’t sell slaves to other states; individual slave owners moved about the South with their slaves, and individuals probably sold slaves to Southerners in other states. This did not increase the number of slaves, it merely relocated them. If you disagree, support your argument. Otherwise, please delete this biased remark from your article. It is more innuendo than fact.

One more thing: please delete the word “Rebel” from your article and replace it with the word “Confederate.” The Confederates were not rebelling against anything, they were merely exercising their right to self-government as sovereign states, a right understood from the beginning of the Republic. The term “rebel” is a false epithet designed to denigrate the Southerners, as if they were criminally breaking some law or are in some way illegitimate. This is false, please do not continue this self-serving Northern falsehood.

Conservatives believe somehow that party platforms are immutable. So this @Elk_eater guy on Twitter was arguing that Democrats of today would love Andrew Jackson because he was a Democrat. When I pointed out many of Andy’s policies directly contradicted those of later Dems, like FDR and LBJ, he swiftly changed the subject to, “well, libertarians are best!”

Exactly. The same ones complain about anything Federal: taxes, regulations, licensing, education just anything that comes from the Feds that smacks of “control”. But they don’t mind taking what they can get, either, such as disability, food stamps, Medicare, etc. Anything that benefits them they like; if it benefits anyone they don’t like, they gripe.

I think I’ve seen more seemingly otherwise healthy people in their 30s and 40s on disability since I moved here than anywhere else, and a lot of that is from their own ignorance—too much consumption of anything you can name.

Talk about resentment and holding a grudge. They still have it 150 yrs later.

236 lawhawk  Jun 1, 2015 8:17:17am

re: #231 Backwoods_Sleuth

Yup. Reading the Drudge screamer headline is quite different than reading the case and its holding.

The court found that making threats on Facebook was insufficient to convict. However, the Court refused to address the free speech issue and it didn’t bother to issue standards for which lower courts can follow.

In other words, the Court simply kicked it back to the lower courts to hash out so that they’ll eventually rehear a similar case that will somehow address standards for determining whether a threat is serious enough.

Moreover, the case doesn’t address whether Twitter or Facebook or any other site’s ability to police its users via TOS/rules of use.

If Twitter wants to ban everyone who issues threats, that’s in their right. If they want to ban for no reason at all, they could do that as well. Other sites’ TOS, including Slate allow bans for no reason at all.

And the Court didn’t even go into that either (nor should they have).

The decision had no effect on Chucky’s suspension, though to be sure his followers will try and claim otherwise (because reading comprehension is hard).

The lion is reported to have jumped through the open window, biting a woman who was in the passenger’s seat.

The driver was injured while attempting to free the woman from the animal’s grasp.

The park’s Scott Simpson said, “We don’t know exactly what happened, we do know that there was a car driving to the lion camp and the lion did come through the window and it did bite the lady. Unfortunately the ambulance arrived quite soon but the lady has passed away.”

Some of his other FB posts

Among the many alleged threats made by Elonis, he wrote five days after he was fired from Dorney Park that “’Y’all sayin I had access to keys for the all the fuckin’ gates. … Y’all think it’s too dark and foggy to secure your facility from a man as mad as me? You see, even without a paycheck, I’m still the main attraction. Whoever thought the Halloween Haunt could be so fuckin’ scary?’” according to court papers.

Elonis also posted — in this instance several days after a judge ordered a PFA in favor of his estranged wife: “‘Fold up your PFA and put in your pocket. Is it thick enough to stop a bullet?’”

A day later, Elonis wrote that he might shoot up a kindergarten class: “‘I’m checking out and making a name for myself. Enough elementary schools in 10-mile radius to initiate the most heinous school shooting ever imagined. And hell hath no fury like a crazy man in a kindergarten class,’” according to court papers.

After Elonis was visited by FBI agent Denise Stevens, he also posted that it “’took all the strength I had not to turn the bitch ghost. Pull my knife, flick my wrist, and slit her throat. Leave her bleedin’ from her jugular in the arms of her partner.’”

Woops Win 10

Windows 10 is being released to PCs and tablets July 29; Windows 10 Mobile for phones comes a bit later.

The wait is over: Microsoft said early Monday morning that you’ll be able to download Windows 10 on July 29, especially if you sign up for a “reservation” on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 machines.

On that date, the company said, you’ll be able either to download Windows 10 or buy a new Windows 10 PC from retailers. And if you click the “reservation link” that Microsoft is pushing via its most recent updates to Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, you can apparently sign up to preload the software just as soon as it’s ready.

I was watching an old (1991) documentary last night on white supremacists and the eeriest part was that their threats and whiny claims of persecution are the same—sometimes word for word—as what you hear from the right today. They have essentially coopted the GOP.

The only thing they’re still hiding/holding back on is the antisemitism, but it’s there, oh boy is it there. Some of them were even claiming that Jews are impostors and they (whites of European descent) are the real Israelites. I don’t remember if that was part of the Christian Identity thing or just in general (i.e. American Nazi Party, KKK, etc.), but the vast majority of them quoted the Bible to justify their racism, bigotry, and (desire for) violence.

It was mind boggling.

Anyone who thinks Christians can’t spawn a Bible-based version of ISIS needs to open their effing eyes.

Ooh, thanks. I’d have a hard time deciding between moving to the 7DII or buying some really good glass.

Um, why is a man so obviously a dangerous psychotic still at large?

re: #371 CuriousLurker

I’d go with glass. The camera I’d want would still be unaffordable with $1,500 (though I could get another good Canon 70d or a 7d as another body). I went with the Tamron 150-600. Could consider a large format printer though - so I could print out stuff at home without as much fuss - maybe giving me the option to sell stuff locally.

I’d go for a good DJI drone setup. Not for my DSLR’s (yikes!) but I’d use my GoPro or rent something interesting like what Radiant Images builds. I’m after indoors stuff. Gold refinery with the fire and furnaces. I could get into some big Orchid greenhouses. Some old buildings downtown…

SCOTUS and Ambercrombie…

I wonder if she feels the same way about the Anthony Elonis ruling?

Thanks, I thought that was about the head scarf case. Stoopid either way.

No, I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to mean “go east”, as in text adventure game commands.

You’re in a maze of twisty GOP candidates.

I’d go with glass as well, and then possibly some aux equipment like a tripod or monopod.
