And Now, Chuck Johnson Is Stalking the Offices of Twitter in San Francisco

The boy does love to stalk

Chuck C. Johnson stalking Twitter

The Twitter account apparently run by Chuck C. Johnson’s crony Shannon Knutsen posted this creepy photo last night:

Chuck C. Johnson stalking Twitter

Yes, that’s Chuck Johnson looking like he just rolled out of bed, lurking outside the offices of Twitter in San Francisco. The word for this kind of pathetic behavior, folks, is “stalking.” There’s nothing “cute” about it; it’s intentionally threatening.

And as I know from personal experience, Chuck is infamous for stalking. He took these photos of himself standing outside an apartment where I used to live, and posted them on Twitter in an attempt to scare me out of criticizing him. A screenshot of that tweet:

Chuck Johnson stalking me at a former apartment where he thought I lived

And Chuck managed to get himself on the Capitol Police’s radar when he stalked the home of Senator Thad Cochran and posted this photo of it on Twitter:

Chuck Johnson posing in front of Thad Cohran’s house

Given Chuck’s demonstrated stalking history, I hope the folks at Twitter are alerting their security staff to keep an eye out for him. He’s evidently got some kind of creepy plan in mind.

With his public threats against Twitter for banning him, this strongly suggests harassment. He’s handing Twitter’s lawyers a gift here, if he ever follows through on his threats to sue them.

Does he actually think this is somehow going to help him if for some bizarre reason a judge decides he actually has a case against Twitter for “censoring” him? Man that boy ain’t bright.

Once again, he’s having someone else taking the pictures for him. Is that his usual comrade in arms and co-conspirator in malfeasance?

And this is probably the worst way to convince a lawyer that he should prevail in his court case - harassing and potentially stalking officials at Twitter’s HQ shows that his online persona is no different than his real world activities. He’s a thug and smear merchant.

He’s too weak to be a thug, but he does have the low-IQ part covered, and is definitely a smear-merchant.

Do you think that account can be attributed directly to Johnson? I doubt it can, though he probably has influence over it. It is probably owned by his “associate”. I don’t see how Twitter can ban the account unless there is proof that he is personally accessing it, or if that account also breaks Twitter rules.

Or maybe I am missing something.

He seems to be headed for some kind of serious psycho meltdown. This kind of behavior is not rational. And apparently he’s surrounded by people who are enabling him and feeding the insanity, instead of trying to talk him down off the ledge.

Nope, not buying that story. A suicide call would be no doubt upsetting but not something that would put someone in an outa control rage to assault and pull a gun on pool party teens. That’s surging adrenaline, more likely ‘roids.

Social services calls police to Duggar home after family refuses to cooperate with child welfare probe

Police in Arkansas were called to the home of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar after they reportedly refused to cooperate in a child welfare investigation.

According to a report published by In Touch magazine on Wednesday, a representative from the Washington County office of the Arkansas Department of Human Services contacted 911 on May 27.

The magazine obtained a transcript of the 911 call through the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act.

“We have an investigation and I guess they’re not being cooperative,” the DHS representative told the 911 dispatcher. “We have to see the child to make sure the child is all right. So we just need police assistance.”

The Duggar family’s 15 minutes are currently at 14 minutes and 52 seconds.

Considering this little pity party, I think Casebolt’s hoping that in a year or so, once the heat’s died down, he can find a new job with another police department. If they bring up his resignation, portray himself as being “forced out” as a scapegoat. And if they ask about this case, say nothing was ever proven. I think we all know by now that there are plenty of police departments or private security firms willing to take vets with questionable histories on if only to plug open spots in their roster.

Oh, and cite “death threats” to try to instill some measure of sympathy.

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I’m willing to believe that he has, in all likelihood, received threats.

How serious those threats are is a very different question - my personal suspicion is that the vast majority of them are meaningless - and it may be that a portion of them are comments that some people would not consider threatening.

But hell, I don’t know how you can look at the level of supposed “civil discourse” or even an Internet comment section and think that there’s no chance that has bled over into what people are willing to go out of their way to say to someone, especially since so little attention gets put into investigating things like that.

Pretending it doesn’t happen when it’s people we dislike just makes us look like hypocrites when we accept that it does happen to people we like.

(Also this should go without saying but I don’t think this makes his actions any more sympathetic nor does it change my level of sympathy for him, which is currently 0. He dug the hole himself. He can deal with it. He may very well be trying to exaggerate what he has received in order to get sympathy and/or donations. But I think it is important to recognize the middle ground where yes, he may be receiving threats even if he is overstating their importance/likelihood of harm.)

re: #113 klys (maker of Silmarils)

I think I’ll let Charles Pierce convey my opinion on public servants dishing out the “death threats” card:

I mention this because “getting death threats” is becoming something of an immunity idol among our public servants. Scott Walker is running virtually his entire campaign on the platform of alleged death threats he received back when he was gutting workers rights. I do not minimize the seriousness of getting death threats; I’ve gotten a few myself, especially since the Intertoobz have made it so easy to concoct them. (Porn, gambling, and death threats. Thanks, Al Gore!) I suspect almost everyone in public life has gotten them, and I suspect that most people in public life have gotten more than I have.

I will not be glib about the relationship between heat and kitchens. Nevertheless, politicians and the like should be judicious in how they use the I Got Death Threats life preserver either to explain their unpopular positions, or to alibi their way out of them. Reducing the seriousness of a death threat to an appeal for public sympathy — or, worse, to use it to pitch for votes — is to normalize the former and trivialize the latter.

I’ll seek comment from Diane Rehm on why she, or whoever prepared the interview, thought Sanders has Israeli citizenship. The question itself suggests that Rehm may have been trying to imply some type of dual loyalty on Sanders’s part.

A cursory search on Google of “Bernie Sanders Israeli citizenship” shows that his name comes up in the comments section of the “We are all Vittorio Arrigoni” Facebook page. Arrigoni was an Italian pro-Palestinian activist who was kidnapped and murdered by non-Hamas Islamists in Gaza in April 2011. In the comments section of the Facebook page, on May 2 a user posted a list of senators and representatives who “have both Israel and U.S. citizenships.” Sanders is on the list. No source is given because the list is a total fabrication, not to mention created by an anti-Semite and anti-Zionist, which is given away by the fact that it says “Jewish Lobby”, “#israelwarcrime”, “AIPAC: Buying Congress one seat at a time”, “Rothschild”, and features an American flag with a Star of David replacing the 50 stars.

Absolutely. It does not excuse him at all since most people on the spectrum are good people.

Some of us have plenty more reasons to hate the world and don’t, but what does he have, except self-perceived persecution? From all accounts of his latest report on his family, he had a far better childhood, I suspect, than lots of people.

This is the other reason CCJ hasn’t been able to get on wingnut welfare. He is too direct on this subject.

Right wing racism needs to have plausible deniability and/or a mountain of pseudo-science gobbledygook (i.e., the Bell Curve) to not be grounds for a shunning.

Right wing anti-semitism needs serious deniability, until the Holocaust is suitably forgotten and/or trivialized out of history by RWNJ propaganda efforts.

The good news is that for all the boom there’s probably little to no toxic material release. Modern energy storage flywheels are usually made from precisely manufactured carbon fiber cylinders suspended on magnetic bearings in a vacuum.

IIRC, it used a CF flywheel that was spun up to astonishing speeds by a ground support unit. Performance was excellent - as long as it lasted. They just couldn’t pack enough energy into the flywheel to last a full event.

Everything old is new again.

Flywheel explosions used to actually be a very common industrial accident, back when factory equipment ran off of belt fed steam engines. Here’s a photograph from 1871 depicting the aftermath of a Corliss engine flywheel explosion that destroyed an entire factory building. How much of this wreckage was due to the flywheel failure and how much resulted from the boiler detonation is unclear however, as the one would often trigger the other.

This insurance engineering book published in 1908 documents seven industrial flywheel explosions occurring in the span of just a few weeks.

I had to research the viable tech owned by a flywheel engineering firm a while back that went bankrupt, Beacon Power. They actually had a salable asset in a 20 MW grid storage farm that as far as I know is still up and running in PA. Based on the tech I think their actual storage at any given time was maybe 5MWh, I think the 20MW number comes from the switching gear throughput capability. The storage system is designed to provide an extremely fast, nimble response to changes in grid demand. Essentially it acts as a buffer, reacting much faster than any conventional power generation plant can respond.

Here’s a Sandia National Lab .pdf on the project and tech.

That old insurance engineering link is interesting. It appears that steam explosions and elevator failures were also commonplace events.

Which neatly gives us a way to distinguish wingnuts from normal people:

Q: What should the decline in industrial accidents over the past 100 years or so mainly be attributed to?

A1: Regulations.

A2: Competition in a free market.

He managed to get a buttload of $$ out of YouTube to come up with “high-value” content for their channel, but since that coinage ran out, he’s been kinda stuck flopping around, looking for his next Big Score.

If you’ve been watching the episodes of Silicon Valley - Jason is the investor-douche who scored with Radio On Internet back when idiots thought everything was The Next AOL, banked a bunch of the money, and thinks that he’s a super-genius.

In all fairness, Jason, while an obnoxious douche who isn’t as smart as he & his ass-licking flunkies all tell him he is … is not on the same scale as CCJ. He isn’t actively trying to hurt people because they are black, gay, female, or object to, oh, say, arming teachers in classrooms because guns and shut up.

Usually, we try to find the funny — haha, look what creepy old Uncle Pat said on his show today! — and then we make some jokes about it. But Robertson’s advice to “Jane,” on how to comfort a coworker whose three-year-old died, is So. Fucking. The Worst:

As far as God’s concerned, He knows the end from the beginning, and He sees a little baby, and that little baby could grow up to be Adolf Hitler, he could grow up to be Joseph Stalin, he could grow up to be some serial killer, or he could grow up to die of a hideous disease. God sees all of that, and for that life to be terminated while he’s a baby, he’s going to be with God forever in Heaven so it isn’t a bad thing.

This is an almost cartoonish example of the Just World Hypothesis in action. Basically Pat’s just gonna use God to justify everything he likes or feels there’s no answer for. It’s all God’s will, we aren’t meant to understand it. If you got raped God must have wanted it for a reason, either you were a slut or needed to suffer to grow spiritually or some such nonsensical shit.

Gay people getting married tho? Even though that is happening it’s somehow magically against God’s will because reasons.

Duggars Refuse to Cooperate with Child Welfare, Police Called

Late last month, a representative of the Washington County office of the Arkansas Department of Human Services reportedly called 911 after Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar refused to cooperate with a child welfare investigation.

“We have an investigation and I guess they’re not being cooperative,” said the representative of Human Services to the 911 dispatcher. “We have to see the child to make sure the child is all right. So we just need police assistance.”

When you live in a fantasy of your own making, it totally sucks when reality intervenes.

“He is sad because it is his lifelong dream to be a police officer and that is pretty much cut off to him now.”

Ah, the suffering white passive construction as used by racist meatheads who can’t imagine that their racist meatheaditude had anything to do with their diminished range of possible futures.

They actually have “Hillary’s Hard Drive” for $100.

So, they are selling dead hard drives with a 5 cent sticker on them.

Not just dead. Erased too!
