Ouch! Chuck Johnson’s Latest Attempt to Sneak Back Onto Twitter Is Denied

That makes eight (possibly nine) suspensions for the Ginger Avenger
Wingnuts • Views: 45,086

It’s always nice to wake up to good news, and today we find that cyberstalker Chuck C. Johnson’s latest sock puppet account on Twitter, @GotNewsResearch has been suspended.

Maybe Johnson should have thought better of posting a tweet in the first person, from an account that wasn’t supposed to be him? But I guess he just couldn’t resist responding to this LGF article.

This makes the eighth Twitter suspension for Chuck Johnson; nine if you count the @fakerape account that was also shut down at the same time as his other accounts. (I strongly suspect Chuck was also behind that account, but only Twitter knows for sure; it ties in to his apparent plan to @ChuckCJohnson_Planning_to_Monetize_His_Obsession_With_Rape">monetize the humiliation of women who report rapes.)

And bringing to mind the old proverb about “he who laughs last”…

I can’t stick around right now, but if anyone is interested in graphic design best practices—the basics of layout, composition, typography, etc.—a series just began over at Lynda.com where each episode is free until the next one is released, then it becomes available only to paid members.

The guy teaching the course, John McWade, is really good at explaining things in clear language that even non-designers will understand. The welcome message and first episode are currently available, so I’d jump on it now if you’re interested as I don’t know how often new episodes will be released, therefore I don’t know how much longer it’ll be available for free.

I had some students who were just like this dude. They were in the gifted program, and because of that and having been told by their parents and others that they were “superior” to others their entire lives, they thought it meant that they could do whatever they wanted to do and others would have to live with it. I remember some of them being shocked when they received failing grades from me because they refused to complete assignments they felt they shouldn’t have to complete. Parents showed up for conferences and tried to bully me into changing their grades, but I wouldn’t. Thankfully, the administration backed me up. These kids needed to learn that the world doesn’t revolve around them, and that in their future jobs, their bosses wouldn’t put up with them refusing to complete tasks simply because they didn’t want to. One of them returned to teach at the school and apologized to me. While she was in college, she’d learned that not completing assignments meant failing a class and that professors didn’t give two sh*ts about her IQ.
