Donald Trump Announces He’s Suing Everybody

Trump goes full Chuck
Wingnuts • Views: 63,904

Donald Trump is starting to sound a lot like Chuck C. Johnson — and not just for the racist statements about Mexican immigrants that got NBC to cut ties with him.

Because in classic Chuck Johnson style, now he’s threatening to sue everybody. Last week he announced he’d be suing Univision, and today he said he’ll be going after NBC as well.

“Long ago I told NBC that I would not being doing The Apprentice because I am running for President in order to Make our Country Great Again,” Trump continued. “If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court.”

A winning move for a right wing presidential candidate if ever there was one!

“Trump would like everyone to know that NBC is lying about firing him, because NOBODY FIRES DONALD TRUMP. You see, they only broke up because NBC loves him too much and was burning with jealousy at the thought of having to share him with the rest of the country. Trump had to take the high road and end this marriage, for the sake of the children, and for America”

And you’d think a man acting so unserious and being just generally repulsive would sour GOP voters on him. Nope.

cnn.com

The new CNN/WMUR New Hampshire Primary poll finds Trump at 11%, just behind Bush at 16% in a wide open contest for the Republican nomination for president. Bush and Trump are followed by Rand Paul at 9%, Scott Walker at 8%, and Carly Fiorina and Marco Rubio both at 6%. Ben Carson and Chris Christie each have 5% support.

NBC: You’re fired!

Trump: You’re fired!

NBC: No, you’re fired!

Trump: You can’t fire me…so I fire you!

NBC: Nuh uh! We fired you first.

Trump: No, I was in a speech and didn’t get the message, so it doesn’t count.

NBC: Doesn’t matter, media has already said we fired you.

Trump: LaLaLaLaLaLaLaLa…I can’t hear you!

NBC: Doesn’t matter, you’re still fired. It’s public record.

Trump: You can’t bully me. You’re fired!!!

NBC: You may think you always get your way, but not this time. Decision is final.

Trump: But I’m The Donald™ and you can’t do that.

NBC: Go ahead and sue us.

Trump: I’m gonna sue you!!!

NBC: Sheesh. What a clown. Now we know why you got on the bus.

They are so freaking dense! The question wasn’t whether or not Cruz is against interracial marriage, but whether or not his arguments against marriage equality could be used by racists to refuse to marry interracial couples. Surely, by all that is good and holy, they are not so stupid that they don’t get that?

I suppose this is as opposed to the tidal wave of drooling insanity we are seeing from the right.

The important difference bewteen Chucky Johnson and Donald Trump is that Trump has the means to do great damage. That’s a guy that can ruin you with legal costs. And bitter enough to do it. President? Not even in my nightmares.

BTW you may find a few pleasing pics (I hope) in my latest Page. Just imagine the soft sound of the breeze through the trees and the soft patter of a light rain on a pond when you take a look. It was a nice place at a good moment.

Trump’s major success has been selling his brand. It’s made him famous, which has helped him stay wealthy. But his brand only appeals to those who don’t really know his history and true character.

The publicity he’ll get during a presidential run will bring his history and nature to a much wider audience. Trump’s little ego trip is going to end up damaging his brand much more than he realizes.

I think he’ll drop out of the race as soon as financial disclosure documents are required. He’s just looking for attention and hyping his brand. But I think his attempt to sell his brand via the campaign is going to backfire much more than he imagines. Suing everybody indeed. The implosion will be epic.

What bothers me is that no matter which idiot gets the GOP nomination (including Trump), we’re probably looking at a competitive general election in 2016, especially if GOP-ruled blue states get frisky with their electoral votes.

From that point of view, the GOP clown car is much less entertaining.

Talk about a freak accident, but at least three were able to have been rescued by Philstaff. I feel for the deceased boy’s family, for his crew, his troop, and for the Philstaff and NMSP folks that had to find and recover the body.

As much as Philmont is considered to be one of Scouting’s ultimate outdoor destinations and even one of its “holy sites”, as it were, it’s easy for those of us who have been or want to go there to forget that, out beyond the “civilization” of Base Camp, the Villa Philmonte, and Cimarron, Philmont’s backcountry is still a very wild, rugged, untamed place. In addition to flash floods such as this fatal one, backcountry fires and the (still fairly remote) possibility of attacks from bears and cougars looking for food are very real at Philmont.

IMO, Trump’s racist comments accompanying his announcement to run were carefully planned. He expected the controversy to dominate the news for at least a week or three. But it went sideways when another racist walked into a church in Charleston SC.

My youngest always thought clowns are scary. I agree.

OT, but I once attended a small funeral where the immediate family were all professional clowns, and drove a custom van advertising their business. So the drive to the cemetery had the hearse, followed by a van advertising “Clowns For All Occasions”, then a half dozen cars. Got some interesting reactions during the trip. ;)
