American Family Association Spokesman Bryan Fischer Tweets Link to White Supremacist Site

What right wing racism?
Wingnuts • Views: 69,798

Since the Charleston church shootings and the subsequent exposure of the alleged killer as a far right white supremacist, conservative pundits and bloggers have been frantically trying to spin away the connections between white supremacism and the mainstream right. Some of them are even absurdly arguing that alleged killer Dylann Storm Roof is actually a “liberal activist.”

But then along comes Bryan Fischer, the spokesman for the politically connected and highly active American Family Association, tweeting a link to an outright white supremacist organization, American Renaissance — another one of those sleazy dishonest “black on white crime” stories that inspired Dylann Roof to commit his atrocities.

And just to drive home the point, the article and statistic Fischer’s quoting are wrong:

Here are a couple of links to more information about American Renaissance, in case you haven’t encountered this vile hate group before:

Also note that the publication linked above, National Review, has had to fire or distance themselves from at least three overt white nationalists in the past couple of years.

Yet conservatives still try to tell you liberals are “lying” about their support for white supremacist ideologies, and bitterly complain they’re being unjustly accused of racism — even as they repeat and circulate racist falsehoods like the one that led Dylan Roof to murder nine people.

UPDATE at 7/13/15 12:14:47 pm by Charles Johnson

You may notice that Fischer’s tweet no longer shows up above as an embedded tweet; that’s because he has deleted it, obviously after seeing this post.

Here’s a screenshot of it, so he can’t get away with hiding that he’s been reading white supremacist websites.

The celebrity gossip site said Trump said the man contacted him via Twitter saying (roughly translated from Spanish): “Keep f*cking around and I’m gonna make you swallow your bitch words you f*cking whitey milks***tter,” the last term being a homophobic slur.

Also screws over the businesses that follow the rules (insurance, regulations, etc.) and wait in line (for taxi medallions or dealing with DMV PITA stuff), which ruins the competition in the market because Uber drivers end up with lower fixed costs than companies that follow the damn rules.

How exactly does any of that stimulate lower prices. Uber can surge price so that you end up paying several times as much as alternative modes of transit. It may fill a gap in current transit options, but it isn’t a replacement. Lyft? The same deal.

Airbnb is an app to allow home swapping. Again, not exactly causing lower prices - as someone who is looking to legally let out their place will price it in the same way as comparable units.

And as a graphic artist looking for freelance work…WTF is up with Walkers lazy ass logo? Even if it wasn’t a ripoff it is still a weak logo design. It’s like the presidential candidates don’t want to pay for a good logo. Simple can be nice, but a little creativity in it please.

In fact, white violence against blacks is dwarfed by black on white violence. In 2012, blacks committed 560,600 acts of violence against whites (excluding homicide), and whites committed 99,403 acts of violence (excluding homicide) against blacks, according to data from the National Crime Victimization Survey provided to the author.

Emphasis mine.

The homicide exclusion would seem to be important.

Sounds similar to the plot of “Burn After Reading” (one of my favorite Coen Bros. movies.)

A disk containing the memoirs of a CIA agent ends up in the hands of two unscrupulous gym employees who attempt to sell it.

[last lines]
CIA Superior: What did we learn, Palmer?

CIA Officer: Yes, sir.

Had a long database report running recently at work. MS auto-update rebooted the server halfway through the run without any warning to those of us running against it (it’s a hotel. _I_ don’t have server permissions and don’t want them. I quit doing IT years ago). Killed Oracle in the middle of a bit of sql that corrupted said database. IE has been even more unstable since that night and, naturally, our app only runs in IE.

And people wonder why I laugh at them when asked when I’m updating to Win10.

Back in the Marines, we had Battalion level diversity training, where every shop got called in and went thru the same training, which quickly got filtered throughout the command, so my buddies and I were ready when our turn came around.

Part of the training was the instructor handed out sheets of paper and everyone had to fold them and cut them out, so we could see everyone was different. That was how it was supposed to work…

So our turn comes around, the instructor passed out the materials, gives us 5 minutes, then asks “What do you notice about all the designs?”

Some PFC answers “They’re all different.”

The instructor smiles then sees me with my hand raised, “Yes, what is it?”

“Ours aren’t” and my entire squad raises the exact same design.

The instructor’s face was priceless.

Clinton: If Bush thinks people need to work more, he “must not have met many American workers”

Bush really stepped in it with that “poorly worded comment” or whatever her is using to weasel out of it, but he also is part of a legislatitive and business climate that incentivizes employers to keep people emplyed part time.

Ignore the WordPress theme text they obviously didn’t replace on the front page. I think they are too busy being important monitors of everything Jade Helm to spend time reading their site.

All the LGF Texans can use the site to file reports on Jade Helm activities in your area. Good monitoring!

Flag of treason.

US constitution (Article 3 section 3) says:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

Ok, a bit of food later, and I can think. Still need sleep.

Contacted previous employer and got the process for turning in my uniforms and picking up my final check. Now I just need to find a way down there and back. My buddy can get me there next week. The bus is obviously out, haha.

My plants are mostly ok. The water is questionable so I’ll likely flush out the pots. I definitely lost my Drosera ‘Ivan’s Paddle,’ it was sickly before I left and it doesn’t appear to have lived through the stress. Maybe it’ll come back from the roots but I doubt it, this is the second time I’ve lost this cultivar and won’t be trying again anytime soon.

My Sarracenia purpurpea / rosea died back to it’s bulb, which is HUGE. The bulb is easily three times bigger than it was, it’s growing nearly 4 inches out of the pot. That’s nuts. Hopefully it recovers nicely.

Everything else is alive, although a bit crispy.

Other than that… life is good I suppose. Hit up Winco and got substance food for the next few weeks — Spaghetti sauce (already have noodles and meat), Turkey and Cheese (already have tortillas), Navy Beans and some Ham + Jalapenos. Those meals along with rice should keep me going until mid August.

President Barack Obama commutes sentences of 46 drug offenders

Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama commuted the prison sentences of 46 drug offenders, saying in a video posted online Monday that the men and women were not “hardened criminals” and their punishments didn’t match the crimes they committed.

If the President really wants to make an impact, he should aim to commute the sentences of something like 100 non-violent drug offenders a week, until the end of his term.

I bet that would raise a stink among the RWNJs and the national prison industry.

Going thru annual security refresher training, where we’re forced to listen to 15-20 minutes worth of auto-play slides, and then answer questions such as:

“You find classified material in the lunch room. Do you…”

a) Ignore it

b) take it home with you

c) Wait for someone to come back for it

d) Secure the material and return it to the Security Officer.

There is 2 fricking hours of this…

They forgot E: Hang on to it until the person who left it behind comes looking for it and then hold it hostage for unspecified favors. ///
