Texan Conspiracy Loons Launch “Counter Jade Helm” Website

“Not about conspiracy theories”
Wingnuts • Views: 63,134

Yes, they actually do think Obama might be preparing to institute martial law under cover of a military exercise, folks, and they’ve now launched a website to coordinate their crackpot activities as they “monitor” the Armed Forces of the United States: Counter Jade Helm.

Notice that their “About Counter Jade Helm” section still contains some example text from the Wordpress theme they used for this blog.

The objective is not to stop or countermand the military’s training, but to practice our own skills. Anyone can participate. Groups within each state that will play host to the military are being established to streamline the process. Individuals not wishing to be affiliated with a group can also submit information to this website for analysis and publishing.>Vermilion adopts a business or commercial centric visual model, with corporate background shades interwoven with configurable, vibrant or brand colors, allowing for an equilibrium between professionalism and artistic allure.

I suggest using their site to monitor the lunatics as they exercise their paranoid fantasies. A quote from their section titled, “What This Is, and Is not:”

CJH is not about conspiracy theories. This exercise is not about the what-ifs of our government.

Please. The whole thing they’re doing is based on ridiculous right wing anti-government conspiracy theories. These people are in need of psychological help, not web designers.

Hey…thanks for picking up on this Charles.

I was mentioning earlier today there might be some ‘monitors’ that get a little too bold following around Jade Helm participants and try to stop them and ask them what they are up to.

I based that thought off the militia types that were running around acting like a military police force at Bundy. I think these militia dudes are itching to get into a little confrontation with federal troops under Obama. They may see this as their chance to prove their patriotism.

I’ll predict it right now: When Jade Helm ends without martial law or a coup, the wingnuts will proceed to pats themselves on the backs while declaring that the only reason none of their conspiracy theories came to pass is because they called attention to the federal government’s nefarious plans and kept them too afraid to do anything sinister.

13
Decatur Deb  Jul 13, 2015 • 2:03:42pm

There are some RWNJ blogs so serious that they don’t subscribe to Jade Helm paranoia. One of them has a purported SF NCO vet who describes the reality of the exercise credibly.

But beyond that, I have yet to hear anyone who opposes the Iran Nuke deal - which they haven’t even seen - propose either a ‘better’ deal, OR how to get there. President Barack Obama commutes sentences of 46 drug offenders

Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama commuted the prison sentences of 46 drug offenders, saying in a video posted online Monday that the men and women were not “hardened criminals” and their punishments didn’t match the crimes they committed.

If the President really wants to make an impact, he should aim to commute the sentences of something like 100 non-violent drug offenders a week, until the end of his term.

I bet that would raise a stink among the RWNJs and the national prison industry.

Quite true. It is quoted frequently at free republic and like-mindless places, often with comments praising its veracity and journalistic courage. One Texas Libertarian county chair has publicly praised RT as the only reliable media outlet in the world.
This is an amusing, and presumably unconscious, echo of the old Weekly World News slogan, “The World’s Most Reliable Newspaper.” WWN was kidding though, while the lepertarians are dead serious.

Mini driver smashes in to fish van while pleasuring herself with sex toy

A Mini driver who smashed in to the back of a van in Cirencester was pleasuring herself with a sex toy, it was claimed this morning.

The woman, who was said to be in her 30s, was spotted on video holding a Rampant Rabbit-like sex toy and buttoning up her trousers after hitting the back of a stationary fish van.

She had been stuck in static traffic in the Gloucestershire town when her vehicle lurched forward in to the back of the M & J Seafood van in front.

But it was only when the firm’s management went to check footage on their vehicle’s rear camera that they realised what had happened…

While I would normally argue for confidentiality of such medical reports, the part the judge read (at least according to the article) doesn’t strike me as any part of a clinical diagnosis or reveal any information shared between the psychologist and Dinesh that could be considered confidential.

Basically the psychologist just said what we all already know. Dinesh is a sleazebag asshole, quick to find fault with others while being a total hypocrite. Nothing secret about Dinesh being a douchebag, that’s been his entire career.

I predict a situation will occur in the near future that will require him to respond without checking with the puppet masters, and that will be his undoing if his response isn’t what they’d want.

Speaking of Kentucky, I just saw the first campaign commercial for Democratic nominee for Governor Jack Conway, and this being Kentucky even he is running against Obama. Once this campaign is over and the voting starts, some people may be surprised that Obama isn’t on the ballot for Governor in November.

So then next time Dems are in control of the House, they can just overrule any decisions SCOTUS has made about what is/isn’t constitutional and the states won’t have to follow anything they disagree with?

I’m guessing they haven’t thought this through, as usual.

IIRC, there were 3 big tax bills in Reagan’s time. The 1981 tax cut that took the top marginal rate to 50%; the 1983 increase in FICA; the 1986 Tax Reform that eliminated some loopholes and provided a top marginal rate of 28% - but taxes all capital gains at that rate.

Exactly. He wants to put the burden on the middle to upper middle class. That is going to cause a lot of people that are all for this stupid trickle down economic thinking to go…”whoa, what? Hey, they are out to screw us. And they counted on me before to back that crap and now they want to take from me. Screw that!”

Well, I guess there is no point in having the election. Scott Walker says that it’s God’s plan for him to run for President. (Perhaps God just wants to use the opportunity to teach him something about Humility)

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who announced his presidential bid on Twitter this morning and will have a launch event later today in Waukesha, has sent an email to activists declaring that his presidential run “is God’s plan for me.”

“My relationship with God drives every major decision in my life,” starts the note, which is clearly designed to appeal to Religious Right voters who make up a major part of the GOP base vote, particularly in the early primary states Iowa and South Carolina.

If you go to their site, be sure to read their “Reviews” page, especially the one who claims to be a vet living in the “Communist State of Massachusetts.” Yes, he actually typed that. *eyeroll*

Oh, and be sure to check out the “News” section about the “tactical tracker.

I suppose the rapid fall of the Confederate flag fooled me. It seemed like maybe, for one brief shining moment, a lot of hitherto unthinking Americans said, “Wait - maybe there’s another side to this.”

Of course, then I read otherwise reasonable - but of course, white - friends on FB talk about how they didn’t find the flag offensive, because they viewed it in an historical context. (?)

It got taken down in South Carolina, which was great. On July 4th, I had an argument with a bunch of people who, along with me, volunteer to help the City with emergencies over the flag, and I was the only one arguing in favor of taking it down.

I’m an incrementalist in my optimism: A little at a time. Which is why I don’t tend to buy “All we have to do is _______ and everything will be great.” Otherwise, with my life, I couldn’t be an optimist.

Gov. Paul LePage Accidentally Turning Maine Into Feminist Paradise, Haha, Whoops

Wacky ol’ rubber bag of infected pus and Maine Gov. Paul LePage is one comical fella. Last week, we told you how he thought he had “pocket vetoed” 19 bills by doing nothing about them, but had actually screwed the procedural pooch because the Maine Legislature had not actually adjourned, and so the bills became law. The fun continues, because as of Sunday, Democratic lawmakers say that an additional 51 bills have become law because LePage refused to do anything about them on time.

Obama reduces Damaryius Thomas’s (Broncos wide receiver) mother’s prison sentence by one year, wingnuts lose their minds. One wingnut said the 60 commutations Obama has given in his near-seven years were “the most by any President.” A three-second Google search reveals that Woodrow Wilson issued 341…in one year. Wingnuts, bless their willfully ignorant, stupid asses.

Whew what a day or three. Gotta hand it to street photogs, that’s a tough genre. Been working a small project with LWC, we were out all over downtown LA, with a lot of footage shot on Wall St. San Julian, all homeless encampments. Talk about instant hostility, wow. Two white guys with cameras don’t go over too well.

Back at it tomorrow, hopefully with time can reduce the resistance and relax to talk to me some. I think I’ll just go with my cell phone the DSLR goes over like a drone at an outdoor FAA meeting.

His company doesn’t have a financial stake in the golf course. They’re only managing it. Managing it right into the ground.

That’s some amazing business acumen right there. Puerto Rico has a significant number of visitors who come there for the weather and climate year round. That includes golfers. Managing to bankrupt a golf course is only slightly less difficult than bankrupting casinos.

Something that Trump’s managed to do a couple of times.

Of course, his creditors might think something different of Trump’s business acumen.

The Puerto Rico Industrial, Tourist, Educational, Medical and Environmental Control Facilities Financing Authority issued $26.4 million of municipal debt four years ago to refinance debt from 2000 and 2004 that helped pay for club’s construction, according to offering documents from the deal.

The bonds for the golf course were rated investment grade by Standard & Poor’s until February 2014, when a series of downgrades into junk status began. They cut last month to CCC-, the fourth-lowest rank.

Just heard a California state Senator put out an open letter to Gov Brown to ask the California Air Resources Board to temporarily halt the summer blend rule.

He had this to say, paraphrased and condensed-

January 1st a new cap and trade tax from $.16 to $.75 per gallon went into effect. That was hidden by the surplus we just had. Now we have that new tax, the highest gasoline taxes in the country and a big jump in prices. Arizona pays $2.75 we in Los Angeles are paying more than a dollar more.

High gasoline taxes, high rents and real estate, food inflation. That’s how you build poverty into the economy.

You got it. Stadiums that are long demolished are still being paid for by taxpayers.

Yankee Stadium wasn’t built with taxpayer money, but it was built on city property and payments in lieu of taxes were required, along with building new parks and they built a bunch of parking garages. The team was late in getting the parks done. And the parking garages are costing taxpayers millions for a bailout because there was no need - the new stadium seats more than 10k less than the old one, but they wanted thousands of additional parking spots. That made no sense, but taxpayers are on the hook for that too.

Everywhere you look, teams and their billionaire owners take advantage of municipalities.

John Oliver had a lengthy rant on that the other day.

When I was in the Army, we had a female ROTC Cadet attached to our section. We were getting ready to go out on an exercise, and I was talking to the 1st Sergeant and the company CO about our vehicles. I said that 2 were ready to roll, but HQ-5 was TU, but the mechanic thought he could get it ready.

She looked at me and said “Sgt XXXXX, I know a lot of the military acronyms but I haven’t heard TU before. What’s it mean?”

The CO and 1SGT were looking at me with a couple of shit-eating grins, and the CO goes “Yes, SGT, what does TU stand for, I’ve often wondered that myself”

I pull my self up, look her square in the eye, and say “TU stands for ‘Totally Unserviceable’”. She walked away happy, the 1SGT and CO were cracking up, and the last thing I heard was “Great Cover on that one Sarge”. as I walked off.

(For the Lizards who aren’t military, TU means “Tits Up”, or broken)

Nobody can beat Seattle on that.

We built the Kingdome—it was supposed to be suitable for everything. Turned out it wasn’t suitable for anything. The acoustics were like a toilet with the lid down, so all the concerts went to the (wooden) Tacoma Dome.

It was way too big for basketball, so we destroyed the Seattle Center Coliseum to turn it into a basketball arena. (Then the ‘Sonics left town—but that’s another story).

The roof started falling in pieces, so we spent $50,000,000 fixing it. Then a year or so later, we blew it up. We voted down a new baseball park, twice, but somehow or another—there it is. We voted down a new football stadium—oops! What’s that?

And we’re still probably in hock for the Kingdome.

Why WOULDN’T they bankroll these loons too?

If you feel you need to send Texans more weapons, you clearly don’t understand Texas.

The main villain, Simon Bar Sinister, has a Jewish sounding name and is a hook-nosed antisemitic looking caricature of a bad guy. That and he wants to rule the world, another antisemitic canard.
