STATISTICAL SAMPLES HAVE A LIBRUL BIAS:

The Cruz campaign wants Fox News to exclude national polls that, among other things, poll less than 1,000 interviews with primary voters, poll using the Internet, rather than by phone, and are conducted on weekends.

I’m not sure which I fund more frustrating: Those who are sure that Iran is crazy enough to start lobbing nukes the moment they come off the production line, or the ones who are absolutely sure that sanctions were working to prevent Iran from building nuclear weapons…but also believe that war with Iraq was necessary because sanctions weren’t working.

They want some excuse to plaster Iran over with a layer of radioactive glass. This nuclear treaty is going to make it more difficult for them to realize their dream.

1. Oppose Obama
2. Keep job / pacify audience or constituents

They’ve been looking for someone upon whom to let loose the nukes ever since the fall of the Soviet Union. In some ways, I think wingnuts are almost disappointed that the Cold War ended; it left us without a clear enemy upon which they could focus their hatred.

Do you think it is really that or is it just tough talking RWNJ bluster?

I most of the time think it is tough guy bullshit. As many times it is pointed out about folks that talk tough, they are mostly out-of-shape, older nuts that couldn’t swat a fly without rupturing something or having a heart attack. But they can all dream of pushing that button and reigning down hell fire in the name of ‘Murica because they’d love to be that hateful.

There’s no doubt in my mind that the US right really needed the Cold War to continue indefinitely. Since the fall of the USSR, wingnut fear-mongering has had to settle for various unsatisfactory substitutes.

So everyone keeps talking about Trump being a Democratic plant, or they’re predicting he’ll derail the debates, or whatever. But Trump is an entertainer and he knows how to project a different persona in a different situation.

What if he shows up on the debate stage and, while everyone else is ready to dismiss him with rehearsed one liners (meaning they don’t have to listen to him first), plays the straight man? He could easily throw a barb at Bush, for example, and then talk about immigration without using the words rapist and murderer to describe immigrants.

That would be even more entertaining than him grandstanding.

Not to mention that a nuclear conflagration in the ME would be a pretty good spark for the End Times Apocalypse and the return of Jaysus that the fundie RWNJs have been craving for a long, long time.

He could really derail someone as incurious as Bush or Walker. Jindal won’t make the stage so he’s safe. Huckabee would also be an easy target as he’s so wingnutty.

The angled brackets <> are for raw HTML code and have to be treated specially or the browser will render things funny. Thus, most forum/commenting software uses the square brackets [] for special tags that aren’t part of the HTML code standard, such as wingnut.

Memo to the idiot finance people for TCWSNBN — you changing the rules after the fact does not count as a discrepancy on my end.

We spent X amount on ads. Those ads led to X amount of revenue in my ad database. That is what I am reporting to you. Just because you have your own goofy internal system where you decide later that this customer doesn’t count because you knew they were buying your product anyway, that does not mean that I’m unfairly “taking credit” for revenue that our ads generated.

They used our ads to buy your product. It counts. Deal with it.
