The Stunning Hypocrisy of Breitbart Manbaby John Nolte

These people are not right in the head
Wingnuts • Views: 76,950

Right wing bloggers are some of the biggest crybabies in America, and over at Breitbart “News,” editor John Nolte is still whining about the encounter between Ben Shapiro and helicopter pilot Zoey Tur.

In case you missed the grossly insulting comments Shapiro made to Tur, and her response, here’s what happened: in the course of making a series of ignorant, deliberately provocative statements about transgendered people, Shapiro said to Tur, “What are your genetics, sir?”

At that point, Tur put her hand on Shapiro’s back and said, “You cut that out now, or you’ll go home in an ambulance.” (Here’s a video clip of the exchange.)

Cue outraged persecution complex and extended bout of right wing whining (that still hasn’t stopped). Shapiro actually went as far as filing a police report, accusing Tur of “assault.”

So that’s the background; today John Nolte is whining about a “fascist” (yes, he used that word!) and “monstrous” article in the Los Angeles Times that he says is just like something you’d read in “Germany circa 1933.”

Here’s that monstrous Nazi fascist LA Times article, by Robin Abcarian; as you read, try not to laugh too much at poor pathetic John Nolte’s ridiculously over the top description: You Go, Girl: Zoey Tur Gets Aggressive With a Bully From Breitbart News.

I’m not going through Nolte’s crazed rant line by line, because what’s the point? It’s deranged and silly and whiny and childish, all at once.

But I would like to note one especially hypocritical section. Nolte writes:

And we all know that if the roles were reversed and the circumstance exactly the same, if it were Shapiro who had threatened Tur in this way, Shapiro’s career would be over and the L.A. Times would cheering the end of that career. And justifiably so.

Really? His “career would be over?” So why does John Nolte still have a career in right wing “journalism” after writing something like this:

(I have a screenshot in case this bullying coward deletes his ugly tweet.)

That’s right — the angry manbabies at Breitbart “News” have no problems calling for their political adversaries to be murdered, publicly. They don’t just threaten violence — they call for people to be murdered. And they suffer absolutely no negative consequences as a result.

And this isn’t the only time Nolte has publicly called for the death of people he doesn’t like, as we noted in 2012: Breitbart Editor John Nolte About HBO ‘Stage Mom:’ ‘She Should Be Murdered’.

Why isn’t John Nolte’s career over?

Meanwhile, how does the Breitbart audience react to Nolte’s whining post about the fascist Nazi monstrous media, and poor persecuted Ben Shapiro? Exactly as you might expect — by calling for all kinds of violence against Zoey Tur. A few of the thousands of horrible comments:

The first Brownshirt that starts with me will end up on a cold, hard slab.

[…]

Kick him in the nuts. That might remind the girly boy that he is, indeed, still a male.

[…]

Try and put your hands on me and I’ll blow it off. Filthy freak.

[…]

Kick that girl in her penis! Erm…. whatever! Manjina? Manjayjay? Crotch!

[…]

I don’t know if Shapiro realizes it but he will probably never get another chance that good to face smash head butt that guy again.

These excerpts are just from the very first comments; there are currently more than 2300 in the same vein.

Nolte, Shapiro, and the other babies on Breitbart are such hypocritical whiners. Nolte should have lost any credibility he had when he made that ugly tweet about teachers. He sounds like a fascist there but he wouldn’t know irony if it came out of his ass. Ben was definitely trying to provoke Zoey Tur into violence. And you’re absolutely right. These people threaten violence and murder all the fucking time. I don’t blame her for getting upset with Shapiro because he goes out of his way to be a pathetic asshole.

Have either Shapiro or Nolte served in the military or are they just wannabe tough guys sitting comfortably in their Lazy-boy chairs?

Shapiro I know for a fact has not. Not sure about Nolte. I don’t even know how old Nolte is honestly. No wiki entry for him that I found.

The thing that Shapiro doesn’t get is that biological sex and social gender are two different things, which correlate but are not identical. If Shapiro insists on calling all biological males “men” only on the basis of their biology, he has a right to it and that’s his choice, but he wants more, he wants to claim that the facts objectively support him, whereas his position is inherently subjective (to repeat, it’s his choice to define “man” and “woman” purely through chromosomes; it’s not an objective fact and we don’t have to agree with that choice).

Nolte, Shapiro, and the other babies on Breitbart are such hypocritical whiners.

This is a ridiculous issue for them to worry about, unless they’re panicked they might buy sex from the ‘wrong’ person, and like it.

There is a similar confusion regarding the sacrament of Holy Matrimony and the legal status of marriage, which, likewise correlate but are not identical.

Maybe I’m just re-arranging the bits of what you’re saying, but I think the basic assumption of the Breitbarters is there is no objectivity, there’s only “truth” as perceived by members of their clique…and that is intentional, not accidental. The “truth” changes to suit their needs.

The choice to define gender by chromosomes is one being made strategically, in the moment. When it suits his purposes—for example, the next time he criticizes feminists or homosexuals—biological sex and social gender will be de-coupled, so that The Wrong Kind of Women aren’t “real” women, and same-sex-attracted folk can be characterized as mannish women and womannish men.

Presumably at some point the establishment vote will coalesce around Bush, Walker or Rubio to win the nomination, but the Donald sure looks like he is going to be able to consolidate the anti-establishment vote of the Base and make a deep run into the primaries.

Speaking of Nature

The idea of two sexes is simplistic. Biologists now think there is a wider spectrum than that.

The bible invented several different conceptions of marriage - all within a few short pages.

But remember, marriage in the bible according to a certain subgroup is between only a man and a woman.

I just finished up reading Ta-Nehisi Coates new book, which, for a guy like me who grew up in the whitest of white places, was eye opening. Some of his terms, “people who believe themselves to be white”, seemed really strange at first. It didn’t take long before that completely made sense, and it gave me a much deeper understanding of the concept that race is a social construct, not a biological one.

Science only exists when it’s convenient for confirming what they already think. If science contradicts then, or muddies simple formulations with detail and nuance, then science can be ignored.

I want to say “Lysenkoism,” but it’s actually bigger—and dumber, and kind of more horrifying—than that. They apply the exact same concept-sorting to scripture, so it’s not just scientific methods forms of objectivity they reject.

These are people that manufacture counterfeits, then believe that the from-their-perspective verisimilitude of those counterfeits makes them true.

But remember, marriage in the bible according to a certain subgroup is between only a man and a woman.

My brother Judas actually tried to invoke levirate marriage to justify running off with my wife, EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT DEAD YET, EVEN NOW 35 YEARS LATER. He came up with some convoluted pidgin logic that this was really about being responsible for your brother’s “obligations” if the brother could not fulfill them for some reason. At the time, the failed obligation was my inability to make enough money to suit Jezebel. Things changed over the years, a lot. I confess that I do spend some time gloating these days. What can I say? I’m human.

Truthfully, wingnuts really are looking for a way to either convert their critics, or legally dispose of them (whether that means death, deportation, or jail sentences). They want to turn the whole country into a massive Christian echo chamber.

Biblical literalists sidestep this by assuming that genetics worked differently in that day and age. Many of them subscribe to a theory that “original sin” introduced a genetic defect.

That’s pretty heterodox.

And when the angels did try to breed with human females, this led to giants roaming the Earth:

1When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

4The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

My observation is that Christians fall into two basic categories - those who see it as a way to judge the behavior of others, and those who see it as a challenge to their own behavior. The former seem to see it as, “He took away my sins, so I’m cool!”, while the latter see it as, “He provided a model I must always try to be like.”

Of course, like all binary models, it’s too simplistic.

Because otherwise you’ll starve, since they don’t believe in taking care of those able to work. You must take whatever job is available, and regardless of how poorly paid you are, you must work as hard as possible.

For the employer, they see it as a question of business - you only have to pay enough to keep them from leaving.

For the employee, it’s a Moral Imperative.

I just saw this argument used to defend the fake PP videos: feminists lie all the time (citation needed), so its only natural to fight back by creating faked materials.

To drub away at a point: since what counts as both a “lie” and “an attack” is determined only by the affiliation group, their own lies and attacks can always be justified as self-defense.

This same subjectivism is applied to collective guilt, too, so the wingnut lies and shittiness are always individual errors or false flags.

Conservatives like to tout the “dignity of labor”, but part of that sense of dignity has to come from having the income and the free time to feed, clothe and educate a family.

2) Black people, especially POOR black people, need to have fewer babies.

3) Providing birth control to black people, especially POOR black people, is genocide.

4) Black people are too stupid to understand this.

5) Democrats keep black people down by giving them free stuff - which is available to everyone, but only black people are stupid and corrupt enough to be bought off with free stuff.

Hell, that’s practically Manson-esque.

In its final form, which was reached by mid-February 1969, the scenario had [Charles] Manson as not only the war’s ultimate beneficiary but its musical cause. He and the Family would create an album with songs whose messages concerning the war would be as subtle as those he had heard in songs of The Beatles. More than merely foretell the conflict, this would trigger it; for, in instructing “the young love,” America’s white youth, to join the Family, it would draw the young, white female hippies out of San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury. Black men, thus deprived of the white women whom the political changes of the 1960s had made sexually available to them, would be without an outlet for their frustrations and would lash out in violent crimes against whites. A resultant murderous rampage against blacks by frightened whites would then be exploited by militant blacks to provoke an internecine war of near-extermination between racist and non-racist whites over blacks’ treatment. Then the militant blacks would arise to sneakily finish off the few whites they would know to have survived; indeed, they would kill off all non-blacks.

In this holocaust, the members of the enlarged Family would have little to fear; they would wait out the war in a secret city that was underneath Death Valley that they would reach through a hole in the ground. As the only actual remaining whites upon the race war’s true conclusion, they would emerge from underground to rule the now-satisfied blacks, who, as the vision went, would be incapable of running the world; Manson “would scratch [the black man’s] fuzzy head and kick him in the butt and tell him to go pick the cotton and go be a good n*****….”

No, he wasn’t. Truman was good, but not great. He had a difficult relationship with Congress, though much of this was due to post-economic difficulties that meant he spent half his time in office facing a GOP-led Congress. Much of that wasn’t his fault, but it limited him and kept him from greatness.

Truman also made two major blunders: The refusal of his administration to fully and serious look into the penetration of the government by Communist spies both permitted the stealing of US military secrets but also enabled the rise of Joe McCarthy. And his permitting his Secretary of State, Dean Acheson, to give a speech with a map designating South Korea as a place America would not fight to defend from external aggression let Kim Il-Sung think he could forcefully reunify Korea under his own leadership. North Korea therefore engaged the Soviet Union and China in plans for what became the Korean War.

It wasn’t because of that, it was to make it so that the Corsair’s massive propeller (harnessing 2000 HP from that Double Wasp engine) would have enough ground clearance on takeoff and landing.

Actually, the bent wing was to provide clearance for the prop. The Corsair’s use of the powerful 18 cylinder Pratt & Whitney R2800 radial engine meant that a 13ft diameter prop was the smallest that would work efficiently. The F4U’s successor, the mighty F2G Corsair, packed a 28 cylinder Pratt & Whitney R4360.

And it gets better - he thought the Beatles were communicating to him via the White Album.

When the Beatles’ White Album came out, Charlie listened to it over and over and over and over again. He was quite certain that the Beatles had tapped in to his spirit, the truth — that everything was gonna come down and the black man was going to rise. It wasn’t that Charlie listened to the White Album and started following what he thought the Beatles were saying. It was the other way around. He thought that the Beatles were talking about what he had been expounding for years. Every single song on the White Album, he felt that they were singing about us. The song “Helter Skelter” — he was interpreting that to mean the blacks were gonna go up and the whites were gonna go down.

Those engines were a marvel of engineering for the time. The fact they ran so well speaks to their balance which means pretty good command on all the tolerances, etc.

My litmus test on who I accept as friends on Facebook has gotten very simple: Do they “like” Brietbart, Convicted Felon Dinesh D’Souza, Red State, or any of those ridiculous sites? If so, we don’t need to go any further in our interactions. I can handle dissent, I won’t tolerate stupid.

Ted Cruz supporters are starting to get to me also, but I live in Texas so I’m a bit more lax. Those of you in other parts of the country should show none unless it’s for the humor potential.

And anyone who posts anything that supports Rick Perry or Gohmert! has no excuse, even in Texas. In the immortal words of Flavor Flav, “I can’t do nothin’ for ya, man.”
