Disgruntled Employee Shoots Reporter and Cameraman; Breitbart “News” Instantly Labels It a “Race Murder”

Disgusting
US News • Views: 65,441

Another awful incident of gun violence today in Virginia, as a disgruntled ex-employee of TV station WDBJ murdered reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward as they were conducting a live interview.

And this is how Breitbart “News” editor John Nolte (who has publicly called for political opponents to be “murdered”) covers it:

Yes, Breitbart “News” has gone full-out Stormfront. This, folks, is their business model in the age of Donald Trump.

Business Insider’s Hunter Walker says it all:

And of course, the monsters who comment at Breitbart immediately started spewing overt racism like a firehose.

WHITE LIVES MATTER!! GO LOOT YOUR LOCAL CVS!!!!

[…]

Black on White crime.

[…]

Black people it hurts your cause when one of your own kills a defenseless person, oh wait that happens a lot sorry.

[…]

Lord Obama will comment on this. He will state the suspect was a target of hate, and justified his means in the end.

[…]

And in Chitcongo next weekend another 12 blacks killed by blacks,

[…]

Sista Soldier called for blacks to kill whites too~

[…]

He probably shot them based on Louis Farrakhan’s advice to kill whitey.

[…]

The most shocking thing about this story is that a black man had a job!

[…]

Too old to be one of Obama’s numerous criminal sons, maybe his cousin?

[…]

So the likely affirmative action hire, couldnt hack it. Got let go and returns years later for his cowardlu retribution… bravo left wing.

[…]

You better wake up whiteys… this president wants America to look like South Africa, where whites are raped and murdered and nothing is done about it… and, and … if the whites try to defend themselves they are arrested.

[…]

Keeps your wits about you people…this is just the beginning of this kinda stuff. Make sure your powders dry. #whitelivesmatter

[…]

This is the fruit the MSM and the black militant in the White House have bared. If you keep telling black folks that white people are their oppressors and they are essentially engaged in genocide against black people, this is the inevitable result, and this is not the first example, black on white crime is rampant in America, the media just ignores it.

[…]

naggers gonna nag

[…]

War has been declared on white Americans. Time to stop if once and for all.

[…]

So… if they want to dig up Confederate soldier graves, how about someone dig this gentle giant up, tie him to a truck, and take him for a spin?

Again, these vile comments are just from the first page. There are already almost 2000 similar ones posted.

But Nolte et al are totally not racist and the only thing racist about that headline is you people pointing out it’s racist.

The Breitbart site is little more than a slightly more upscale version of Stormfront. And by ‘slightly more’, I really mean ‘barely discernable from’.

There is a racial component here in that the shooter accused his victim of making a racial slur against him. This is probably enough for the wingnuts to spew HERR, HERR, HATE CRIME

From the guy’s Twitter account, apparently he claimed that the reporter had made a racial remark in her direction at one point and he filed a claim, yet she was still hired. And the camera guy went to HR after working with him once, apparently.

Read, we have a very angry individual perfectly willing to kill because of whatever reason he feels like, in a society that has worked very hard to preserve his easy access to weapons that make it possible for him to attack and kill several victims in a very short time. But we can’t have a discussion about that, so squirrel.

That map seems to coincide very well with maps of suicide rates. I’d be interested to see a map that listed just gun homicides. Not that suicide isn’t an important issue, but lumping them in when you are talking about gun violence could give a different picture of what is actually happening.

en.wikipedia.org

gives a slightly different picture of where actual gun homicide is happening. For instance Alabama is pretty middle of the pack.
