She He SHE can appeal to the Supreme Court, Justice Kagan handles the 6th Circuit.

It’s actually pretty simple to demolish her his HER argument. Substitute the word “Divorced” for “Same Sex” and I don’t think anybody would say that a clerk can rightly refuse a license for a divorced individual getting married, despite the Bible being pretty explicit on that subject.

And all I wanted was a nice quiet evening reading my book and eating a cheeseburger.

Two years ago, Trump met with immigration activists who told them their stories and asked for his support on immigration. “You convinced me,” Trump said as the meeting ended.

Donald Trump Told Dreamers They’d Convinced Him On Immigration, They Say

“You know, the truth is I have a lot of illegals working for me in Miami,” he told them, using the term for undocumented immigrants those in the meeting found offensive. “You know in Miami, my golf course is tended by all these Hispanics — if it wasn’t for them my lawn wouldn’t be the lawn it is, it’s the best lawn,” Pacheco recalled Trump saying.
Trump said he knew the work of undocumented people is what makes his golf courses and hotels great.
“At the end of the day, what we’re looking at is a value proposition for America,” Tijerino said to Trump at the end of the meeting, referring to immigration legislation.
“You’ve convinced me,” Trump said to the delight of the activists in the room.

What a pig.

Apparently, Trump said this about the president of China, Xi Jinping, during his appearance with Bill O’Reilly:

O’Reilly: He is coming over. He is getting a big dinner free at the White House and addressing the U.N. If you were president of would you be throwing him a dinner?

Trump: I would not be throwing him a dinner, we’ve had this conversation. I would get him a McDonald’s hamburger and say ‘You will get down to work because you can’t continue to devalue.’ You know, we will give him a state dinner and what he has done is sucked all of our jobs and he has sucked the money right out of our country.

O’Reilly: Again, he hasn’t done it. U.S. companies do it. They’re doing it.

Trump: No, it’s our system.

shanghaiist.com

One point to Bill O’Reilly, of all people, for noting that Xi is not the reason Americans have lost jobs to China. That’s utter nonsense.

Negative 1 x 1016 points to Trump, for suggesting insulting the leader of a major world power (or any leader, FTM) by treating him like the help, or a disobedient child.

I am sure you can speak to this better than I can since you live there but I think far too many Americans don’t understand China. I won’t claim that the regime is democratic or even shares most of our interests but I am tired of them being used as a boogeyman for things that corporate America has done. We bitch about China “taking” our jobs. Uh take it up with the companies that decided to move manufacturing there because they didn’t want to pay American employees a competitive wage. The Chinese took advantage of the Invisible Hand, and made sure they could make stuff for far lower prices than American manufacturers. Naturally, American businesses outsourced those jobs to China. Hell, even Trump’s clothing line is produced in China for that very reason.

And yeah, most Americans — especially Trump’s base — don’t know China from a hole in the wall. Xi is not an absolute dictator like NoKo’s Kim, because the Chinese government is essentially an oligarchy.

Will do, i added it to my wishlist. It really was a fascinating course. I was lucky to have a professor who has visited China many times. What he did that I loved was that he didn’t only focus on famous people like Mao, Chiang Kai-shek, Zhou Enlai, and others but also had a lot of reading about what the average Chinese citizen went through. He was a tough grader and we had a ton of reading material and papers but I liked him so much that I took post WWII China after the semester after the first modern course was completed. As I said, this is one of the academic decisions I am most proud of. I needed an Asian history course for my prerequisites and I was conflicted between choosing China and Japan. I chose China because of its huge role in our world. Not that Japan doesn’t have an important role but I am glad I went with China. Another great choice was taking a class on Latin American history the year before.

I took LatAm history classes in college as electives, but as a Spanish major. They gave me great insight into the uneasy relationship between the USA and its neighbors to the South, particularly Cuba and Mexico. The Chinese history I’ve been boning up on since I arrived here.

I mostly did European since at that time I wanted to be a State Dep’t guy and get stationed in Europe but I did Latin since I was also taking Spanish. Ended being a great fit since two years later my brother ended up dating the woman who became his wife and the mother of their daughter. But yeah my course work on that gave me insight on that too. We focused heavily on Cuba, Mexico but Argentina also got brought up. I had never heard of the junta there. I knew about our role in overthrowing Allende but I did not know about our role in propping up the junta in neighboring Argentina until they went a bridge too far and invaded property belonging to our pals the Brits and thus getting Maggie Thatcher’s wraft.

i’d really love for him to cause the Hispanic turn out to skyrocket. What a lot of white Americans I don’t think get is this shit infuriates a lot of Latinos whose families came here legally and are citizens now too. Family really is something that is genuinely important to the Latin-American community, it’s not just a front for being anti-gay like the AFA or FRC.

For sure. Really longer Trump stays in the race and god if he gets nominated, I think that could push the Hispanic support for the Democratic party into African-American levels. It’s well to point out but Obama beat Romney with Cuban-Americans last time. I suspect that the Dem nominee will do that again in 2016. May be a little harder with Rubio or Cruz on the ticket I concede but these guys really have no idea how much they’ve alienated Hispanics from their party.

Which is why they want to weaken naturalization laws. They know they’ve lost the Hispanic vote. Hell the more honest nuts like Bachmann pretty much admit it. Of course, they lie and add racist crap like Hispanic vote Demoratic because of “free stuff” ya know the same crap they throw at black voters. Exactly. Hispanics in this country have had low voter turnout in the past…they have not shown their true power at the polls. It’s really hurt us in Texas because we NEED them to vote with us in order to overcome the stranglehold the nut jobs have due to gerrymandering.

Trump is messing with people’s families now. He is going after LEGAL Hispanic immigrants as well. That is the absolute 3rd rail for the Latino community. The rest of the Republican field is piling on to keep up. It just keeps getting worse and worse. If the abuelas decide they’ve had enough, forget it. Grandmothers, man. Don’t piss off the abuelas. He admitted he had to change his favorite from his own book to the Bible. It doesn’t matter though, they aren’t really listening to him.

Father Of Slain Journalist Alison Parker: “Mark My Words,” I Will Do “Whatever It Takes To Get Gun Legislation” Passed

And, you know, I’m not going to let this issue drop. We’ve got to do something about crazy people getting guns. And, you know, and the problem that you guys have is that — and I know it’s the news business and this is a big story. But next week it isn’t going to be a story anymore and everybody is going to forget it. But you mark my words, my mission in life — and I talked to the governor today. He called me and he said — and I told him, I said, I’m going to do something, whatever it takes, to get gun legislation to shame people, to shame legislators into doing something about closing loopholes in background checks and making sure crazy people don’t get guns. And he said, you go, I’m right there with you. So, you know, this is not the last you’ve heard of me. This is something that is Alison’s legacy that I want to make happen.

Let’s be honest though regarding guns. Even when Democrats support gun ownership in many areas, they still get tarnished as “gun grabbers.” Creigh Deeds was every bit as supportive of gun ownership as Bob McDonnell was and how was he portrayed in the 2009 election here? As a gun grabber. And the polls do show that many Americans do support sensible gun policies i.e. background checks, having id to buy weapons, etc but the second the debate starts, the NRA/GOP get their money running and that loud minority who thinks that they should be able to own a bazooka gets out and votes in large numbers.

And so it’s clear I am not saying we need to talk about banning or revising the second but I do want a honest conversation on the issue. I am just tired of hearing whenever tragedies like this happen that it’s “too soon” or if we do talk about it, the GOP and NRA will trounce us. I am sorry. I really am. I get firearms ownership, I really really do. But we do need sensible policies in this country regarding guns. And I wonder if there’s ever going to be an appropriate time to talk about it. Columbine was too soon, Virginia Tech was too, and so was Newtown. What’s it going to take, the NRA’s president’s grandchild being shot by someone? Sorry for raving but Virginia Tech was something that really hit close to home for me eight years ago. And we like to talk about “mental illness” following these tragedies but the politicians who love to bring that up, well what do these guys do, they cut funding to the mentally ill and furthermore just blaming violence on the mentally ill scapegoats those with mental illness. I have to admit it here. I am petrified of disclosing my Asperger’s diagnosis with a would be employer, a date, or stranger I am trying to influence because I am afraid of the stigma attached to differing neurological conditions following what Adam Lanza and Elliott Rodger did.

That doesn’t SEEM insufficient, that is most definitely insufficient. EAT SOMETHING.

I got down to about 134 pounds on a 6’ 1” body, mainly because I’d only eat “when I was hungry”, and I was being lazy and poor, trying to live on as little food as possible (but fast food for my 1 real meal). I found out that I would have to force myself to eat, and to keep track of when and how much I ate.

Another thing…back a few years ago, I went to bed, slept like 16 hours and got up, had a big breakfast of eggs, bacon and hashbrowns ready to eat…and then woke up in the hospital. Apparently going that long without food caused my blood sugar to crash or something.

EDIT: Potatoes are great “poor people food”, but they’re not intended to be the only thing you eat in a day. Again, force yourself to eat other stuff if you have to.

Tonight, they looked back at the Donald Trump Presidency.

If you haven’t read it already, check out The People’s Republic of Amnesia. It does a great job of describing the official scrubbing of the 1989 Tiananmen Massacre from the public consciousness.

I was in (West) Germany in 1989, near the East German border where we were watching the official East German news coverage of the Tienanmen Massacre: I noticed that we were never shown any of the banners or signs the people were carrying, and the voice-over drowned out anything they were saying or chanting.

All we heard was that “counterrevolutionary elements” had murdered several soldiers.

I want you to get up right now and go to the window. China is not the enemy. If anything, it’s the Free Market that’s to blame, and the corporate honchos who decided that the bottom line was more important than keeping Americans employed. Once again, it’s the 1% screwing the 99% and then shifting the blame to someone else.

That brought to mind this article from Raw Story I read the other day on ‘Free Trade’, how recent a phenomena it is and how much damage it does to countries.

And the polls do show that many Americans do support sensible gun policies i.e. background checks, having id to buy weapons, etc but the second the debate starts, the NRA/GOP get their money running and that loud minority who thinks that they should be able to own a bazooka kill anyone they want gets out and votes in large numbers.

Yep. We praise the free market but yet we bitch about China taking jobs and stuff. As we’ve said, any nation would have done what China did given the opportunity. Americans who hate on Beijing and the Chinese manufacturers should direct their anger at those corporate honchos but they don’t. They just buy the scapegoat China crap that comes from these corporate honchos populist demagogues.

Trump is chasing after maximizing profits. He couldn’t care what happens with American jobs, or manufacturing in the US. He claims it’s a premium product for which he could command a premium, so making them here is plausible. He chooses not to in order to put profit over all else.

Rinse and repeat with so many other corporate executives. Manufacturing on so many products is cheaper overseas, usually due to lax safety/workplace rules, low wages, and governments willing to do anything to chase after jobs themselves.

re: #106 makeitstop

Actually, the New York Post has been the top wingnut paper forever. Maybe it’s the same dynamic as CNN trying to be Fox life - the Daily News wants some of that low information voter action.

The history is actually more complex and more interesting than that.

From the 1940s until the mid-70s, the Post was actually the lefty paper in town. It was owned by a woman named Dorothy Schiff, who had taken what had been a sleepy broadsheet with low circulation and built it into a tabloid that leaned pretty far to the left. (The Post took over from another even leftier paper, the scrappy “P.M.,” which was later known as the Star and then folded in the early 1950s.)

The Daily News had been the tabloid on the right ever since it was founded in the late teens by relatives of Col. McCormack, the reactionary owner of the Chicago Tribune.

When Murdoch bought the Post in 1976 or thereabouts, he took it way downmarket and began making it into the sleazy right-wing rag it is today. The Daily News has been through a bunch of different owners in recent years and has been somewhat inconsistent politically. Of late, it’s tended to be the more Democratic of the two tabloids.

Both papers, of course, exist mainly to sell papers. In a city as Democratic as New York, that means tempering the right-wing politics sometimes, even at the Post, which tends to go easy on Hillary even as it attacks Obama. The owners of both papers use them as political tools, so if Murdoch is trying to curry favor with someone, the Post will go easy on them even if it conflicts with their reflexive wingnut stance.

I get the impression a lot of everyday New Yorkers buy one paper or the other in spite of its politics as much as they buy it for its politics. Unlike the Washington Times, the two NY tabloids still enjoy massive circulation, selling hundreds of thousands of copies every day.

The era I wish I’d experienced was just before the 1965 strike killed the rest of the city’s papers. There was so much choice back then. The suburban train commuter had not only the Times (which leaned a little right, in an Eisenhower establishment way) but also the Herald Tribune, which leaned a little left and had snappier writing and sharper design. The Journal American and World-Telegram and Sun were downmarket broadsheets that were survivors of the Hearst and Pulitzer days. The News had a sister tabloid, the Mirror. Just to set the record straight here…. because I do a lot of work for TS:

1) - The video is from September of last year, from a benefit for St. Jude’s hospital. Dee and the rest of the band do a lot of charity work, and when Trump asked Dee’s band (not Twisted Sister, Dee does a lot of shows on his own) to do the benefit, he said yes.

2) - This quote is a little more recent, and implies that most of what we’re seeing is schtick -

“”He’s a really nice guy, especially off-camera, when he’s not being The Donald,” Snider says. “He’s very self-deprecating and when the cameras would be off he’d make jokes about his hair, make jokes about his skin: ‘Do I look too orange?’ He was very welcoming and kind, but the minute they go, ‘Mr. Trump, three.. two.. one…’ He puckers the lips and furrows the brow. ‘Dee, why shouldn’t I fire you?’”

So it’s a pro-wrestling-style shtick, which make sense considering Trump is literally in the WWE Hall of Fame. But don’t get it twisted, Snider is not saying you should vote for him.

“Should he be president? Oh, I don’t know about that. He’s a little too much of a narcissist. “

Forest Service rules limit what can be done in the forests. And it depends on where/when the forests can be cleared. New guidance in the Forest Service allows for certain fires to burn, to restore healthy growth. It also calls for clearing some kinds of undergrowth so as to allow fires from becoming unmanageable because for a long time, the policy was to fight all fires - regardless of point source (arson, lightning, accidental, etc.). That meant that when a fire did occur in those locations, it could grow beyond means to fight it due to the amount of flammable materials.

But without sufficient funds, the Forest Service can’t clear out brush or set controlled burns across all the federal lands it operates/manages.

Morning.

So, I just watched a YouTube vid of Megyn Kelly interviewing Jorge Ramos.

Meygn gets her FOX News check this week.

I wonder what she really thinks about this whole thing with Trump. Are the checks more important than her being put in her place by Trump, or will she be on the market for a new job? She has got to feel betrayed by her boss doesn’t she?

Not if the whole drama is scripted.

I think it depends on whether structures are threatened or not. If structures are threatened, the Forest Service attempts to fight/control them, and if not they allow them to burn in some cases.

Here’s a tracker for where the fires are.

Idaho has 21 active fires

More fires burn in Idaho than any other state

Let the tin foil jokes begin.

Forest Service wraps Idaho buildings in foil to stop fire

Dim Jim would claim Hitler was a gay Obama supporter if he could. The asshole has this thing in his pathetic little mind that gets him to bring Obama and Democrats into every tragedy. The difference is Obama has never talked about doing “second amendment solutions” on his opponents. He has repeatedly condemned violence. That’s more than you can say about a lot of his Republican opponents.

Bitter tears watch. 2Q GDP surges to 3.7%; last month’s expectation was 2.3%.

Gross domestic product expanded at a 3.7 percent annual pace instead of the 2.3 percent rate reported last month, the Commerce Department said on Thursday in its second GDP estimate.

The GDP report, which was released in the wake of a global stock market sell-off, should assure investors and cautious Fed officials that the United States was in good shape to weather the growing strains in the world economy.

Concerns over slowing economic growth in China sent global equity markets into a tailspin last week, raising doubts that the U.S. central bank would raise its short-term interest rate next month.

On Wednesday, New York Fed President William Dudley said that prospects of a September lift-off in the central bank’s key lending rate “seems less compelling to me than it was a few weeks ago.”

Prices for U.S. government debt fell after the GDP data, while U.S. stock index futures held on to gains. The dollar was stronger against a basket of currencies.

The upward revisions to second-quarter growth also reflected the accumulation of $121.1 billion worth of inventories, $11.1 billion more than previously estimated. That meant inventories contributed 0.22 percentage point to GDP instead of subtracting 0.08 percentage point as reported last month.

While the huge inventory build will likely weigh on growth in the third quarter, the blow could be softened by rebounding business investment in capital goods.

Economists polled by Reuters had expected that second-quarter GDP growth would be revised to a 3.2 percent rate.

Nobody can really do too much about that, in a political atmosphere where you’ve got people believing Trump’s shtick is real because of a slogan on a goddamned baseball cap.

I think that D. Joe guy was a little disingenuous in posting that video and framing it as the ‘new campaign song.’ I was just trying to add a little context here, seeing as how the TS guys are friends. I can’t stop what other people around the ‘netz are going to think, but I wanted to clarify things for the people here so as to avoid hearing about how Dee Snider is a raving wingnut or something.

Little-known fun fact, while we’re on the subject - the mother of guitarist Jay Jay French (the guy who really started TS and manages the band) was the NY state campaign manager for John F. Kennedy’s presidential campaign. I believe she was the first female campaign manager for a presidential campaign ever.

More good news (or bad bitter tears if you’re a GOPer). Jobless claims are also way down.

Fewer people sought U.S. unemployment benefits last week, evidence that employers remain confident in the economy and are laying off few workers.

The Labor Department said Thursday that weekly applications for unemployment aid dropped 6,000 to a seasonally adjusted 271,000. The four-week average, a less volatile measure, ticked up 1,000 to 272,500.

Applications are a proxy for layoffs and are at historically low levels, suggesting businesses are holding onto their staffs. Earlier this month, the four-week average stood at 266,000, the lowest since April 15, 2000.

The applications data will likely be closely watched in the coming weeks for any sign that companies are cutting jobs in the wake of the past week’s stock market volatility and global economic turmoil. For now, the data suggests hiring has remained solid this month.

For too long, harsh school discipline practices have contributed to the under-education and over-criminalization of young people,” and especially youth of color, Dalia Mena, an 18-year-old member of Voices of Youth in Chicago Education, a group that lobbied on behalf of the bill’s passage, said in a statement. “Illinois now provides more tools for schools to create environments where all students are valued and supported in their learning.”

According to the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights, Illinois has one of the widest disparities in the nation between suspended black students and their white classmates. During the 2012-13 school year, Chicago Public Schools issued suspensions for 32 of every 100 black students, compared to just five of every 100 white students.

Senate Bill 100 was sponsored by Illinois state Sen. Kimberly Lightford and state Rep. Will Davis. It passed the Illinois Legislature with bipartisan support this spring.

Clerk rides across state in support of colleague

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) Casey County Clerk Casey Davis wants a colleague to know she does not stand alone.

Davis says he decided to embark on bike ride from Pikeville to Paducah to let everyone know Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis does not deserve to be punished.

snip

Clerk Casey Davis says he feels like Christians are being persecuted. Since the same-sex marriage ruling in June his office has also refused to issue marriage licenses.

Davis plans on riding 40 miles a day. He hopes to make it to West Liberty by the end of Thursday. Davis called the Rowan County clerk Wednesday to tell her about his plans and says she began to cry.

I taught a few homeschooled kids in my time in Kentucky. Very few were hyper-religious; most had neo-hippie parents who thought they could do a better job educating their youngsters than any school. But, as a high school science teacher, I found that most of these very intelligent and literate kids sucked at math and science. Their parents just didn’t have the skills.

But I taught at a private school that appealed to neo-hippies. Christian homeschoolers probably send their kids to one of the fundie academies in town.

I can imagine this ending in a number of ways:

I. Trump going too far and his support evaporating.
II. Trump inadvertently tipping his hand and support evaporating.
III. Trump candidacy “killed off” by the GOP, either covertly or overtly.
IV. Trump winning the candidacy, then scenario I.
V. Trump winning the candidacy, then scenario II.
VI. Trump winning the presidency. My strong recommendation is that you at this time make sure your bunker or fallout shelter is in working order, and start a betting pool on how quickly Trumps mouth causes the 3rd tribal fight.

That’s unfortunate. I guess Keurig is also trying to make a Sodastream clone, the K-Kold, which is leading to Sodastream making the Sodastream Ultimate, which will do cold and hot drinks.

I go to shows but I go to smaller venues for much cheaper prices. I don’t think I’ve ever paid more than 50 dollars for live music. I prefer the smaller venues anyhow which granted is probably harder with a big name like McCartney or Steely Dan.

Ticket prices are insane, but it’s an outgrowth of way industry operates. Touring means that the bands/acts get to keep greater share of money from the tour (tickets, merchandise, etc.) if they’re able to keep their tour costs under control.

Still, it’s insane that some acts think that they can/should charge $100 for rear of house seats (obstructed).

Saw The Who earlier this year, and it was pricey, but since it’ll be the first and only time I’ll see them live, I sprung for it.

These loons need to STFU and let the grown ups talk. Progressives have been fighting for more stringent gun laws, more training, insurance, permits, etc for decades, since at least Columbine and before that. These assholes can’t have it both ways. We’re either coming to take all their guns or we’re not doing enough, which is it? Much of this madness started when the NRA became a gun/ammo manufacturers lobby and groups like ALEC started writing laws for state and local level governments. I have no idea who Harry Shearer is nor what he is talking about. Is he a truther of sorts and thinks that the Army Corp of Engineers was responsible for the flooding? There is plenty of blame to lay at the feet of the administration during Katrina but that is crazy.

From the very first week after the storm, he’s been going on about shoddy construction, too-slow upgrades, insufficient budget and/or corruption that kept spillways from from being put in place in time, outdated pumps… and a hundred other reasons why the levees should have held up better than they did.

I don’t have words that this level of ego and self-promotion has held the lead in the polls for this long.

I mean, I get that you have to be personally ambitious to run for president. And there needs to be a healthy amount of ego to think that you have the right skillset for the job. So all candidates are going to have some.

But this is ego without the skillset. Honestly without much else.

It’s terrifying to watch people eat it up.

(The other candidates are terrifying too, but more because of views and ideology and whatnot. Which maybe Trump has but he has no idea whatsoever on how to implement anything. I know the anti-intellectual strain has been building, but really? What happened to the issues with Obama’s experience in government or lack-thereof?)

Magnificent forum is an understatement. That place is grand in every sense of the word. Good show too. There was a special on PBS a while back about the restoration efforts - and how they rebuilt the place from the ground up.

Another magnificent old theater is the former Valencia Movie Palace in Queens - which has been re-purposed as a church, but with all the old theater appointments intact. Just a breathtaking building.

Fourth Football of the Apocalypse  Aug 27, 2015 • 10:24:34am

So Governor Bobby writes Obama letter, says “Don’t Talk About The Climate Change”. Governor Scotty Walker tells Obama to cancel conference with that government of Chinese.

Obama should hold out for another letter or order from the magnificent 17.

The people he’s connecting with believe that experience in government is a PROBLEM, rather than a necessity. They also lust for a strongman in the classic political sense, who will Do What Needs To Be Done, regardless of laws, rights, etc - mostly because they don’t see it as affecting them.

And it should be obvious, given the LACK of Birther fervor about Ted Cruz, that the objections to Obama’s lack of government experience were disingenuous. “He’s black. He can’t POSSIBLY know what he’s doing.”

Luke Skywalker comes out in favor of gun control…..RWNJs lose their shit.

Actor Mark Hamill got a lesson in right-wing fragility when he spoke out in favor of gun control in the wake of the murder of two TV journalists in Virginia on Wednesday.

ENOUGH! Australia fixed it after Port Arthur ‘96-America can too. Bravo Andy Parker for your new mission! #Alison‘sLegacy
— Mark Hamill (@HamillHimself) August 27, 2015

Hamill was referring to sweeping gun-safety laws that went into effect in Australia after the 1996 Port Arthur massacre, in which one man armed with a semi-automatic rifle killed 35 people and injured dozens more in a single killing spree.

In the wake of that incident, the Australian government enacted the National Firearms Agreement, making automatic and semi-automatic rifles and pump-action shotguns illegal.

HOLY SHIT! I just called the pharmacy for a new diabetes med prescription. My usual max copay is $15, but they said this one was going to be $30. Turns out the actual price without insurance is $427 for a 30-day supply. WTF?

The pharmacist LOL at my reaction. She was like, “INORITE?”

No normal person could afford that, and that’s only ONE of the meds I have to take.

I try very hard not to talk politics with my in-laws, particularly health care issues.

I figure they’re both in at least that ballpark on prescription meds. And even with Medicare, end up with enough medical expenses to be deductible. Which makes you think about what the Medicare bill must look like.

Even the price of generics is absofuckinglutely ridiculous. What you might want to try is discount cards like drugs.com and goodrx.com where you can print a discount card that might knock some dollars off your prescription - even if you have a employer-sponsored drug plan.

One of the meds I take (a generic) at full list price is $160+/mo at Walgreens. With drugs.com it drops it to $60/mo, at goodrx.com, it drop it to $30/mo.
