So, this weekend Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee and Bobby Jindal all spoke at the National Religious Liberties Conference in Colorado, hosted by a radical right wing pastor who thinks gays should be executed — after they have a chance to repent, that is.

Pastor Kevin Swanson followed the GOP candidates with a speech in which he said that if his own son ever got married to another man, he’d show up at the wedding in “sackcloth and ashes” and smear cow manure all over his body on the steps of the church.

And Swanson reiterated his belief that God wants gay people to be executed.

Republican presidential candidates are courting people who think like this, folks.
