Ben Stein: Obama Hates America Because He’s “Part Black”

“Why is he so angry at America?”
Wingnuts • Views: 58,625

YouTube

I seem to remember a time when Ben Stein was funny; but man, those days are really gone forever, with his awful movie pushing creationism and his latest far right statements. And now he’s veering into naked racism, as he tells Newsmax TV’s Steve Malzberg that President Obama is simultaneously a “bad joke” and “a very real danger” … with a “real strong hatred for America” because he’s “part black.”

“I think the question is why is he so angry at America?” Stein said. “I don’t think there’s much question that he does not wish America well. He has a real strong hatred of America. Is it because he’s part black? I don’t know. Is it because his father was mistreated by the British in Kenya? I don’t know.”

I suppose it could be worse. I mean, Ben Stein hates America because he’s an asshole.

I was about to say “Remember when Republicans were afraid to let their racism show?,” then I realized they’ve never been afraid. They were just better at disguising it. I guess that the President being on the cusp of retirement has made them feel safe to let their freak flags fly.

They talk about how angry and hateful Obama is. Do they ever listen to themselves and their fellow conservatives? Conservatives are some of the most hateful angry bastards out there.

Lunch table discussions today revolved around Syrian refugees. Apparently I’m naive for thinking we shouldn’t be assholes to people in need.

I stated that I wish the party would just be honest. If the GOP would just come out and say “FCK ALL N*GGERS - AND EVERYBODY WHO AIN’T US IS A N*GGER”, then I could at least respect their honesty.

Edit:

Seriously, when the Aryan Brotherhood and the KKK have more integrity than your Presidential candidates, perhaps it’s time to be honest with yourself and the rest of the world.

You know, considering the comments the president made the last couple days that he is getting slammed for making, I got to thinking about the love of TRUMP and Carson for telling it like it is.

Obama is telling it like it is. And everyone is crying.

Is the difference the fact running for president you can say anything no matter how untruthful and outrageous, but once you are president you have to refrain from any criticism of anyone in the government?

Fuck that. In the world of politics circa 2015, I think Obama has in a sense been fair with his words. I don’t remember him calling out Cruz directly…but Cruz is acting all butt hurt and grandstanding about a debate. A debate that if turned down Cruz can say Obama is chicken to debate.

Where is the outrage a member of Congress thinks he deserves to debate the President? I happen to believe that is out of line.

Where is any outrage that for how many years Obama has had to put up with crap like “I don’t think he is a real American” like idiot Ben Stein is dredging up again from the pond bottom. What the fuck kind of tone is that? Who deserves to be questioned like that for nearly 7 years straight?

I think a little pricking back at real stupidity about real issues is well deserved.

You know…fuck this shit. Keep doing what you are doing Pres! You have not let this American down in your decisions. I trust you way more than all the jackals trying to bite your ankles.

When I was a kid, Ben Stein was that guy who appeared in comedy films as the comically serious guy or as the government employee.

By the time I was a teen, I was watching “Win Ben Stein’s Money,” which was actually pretty good as far as quiz shows go.

Now that I’m an adult, I can only look back at my younger self and thank Dog I was too stupid to realize just how much of an ass this guy really is.

Today’s Ben Carson word salad:

“We have to be extremely wise…the vetting process cannot be unilateral.”

The vetting process cannot be unilateral? Does he even know, let alone understand what the word vetting means?

It is, by operation, a unilateral process wherein one party examines the other to make sure they meet qualifications.

What the heck does Carson think it means? That the refugee gets to examine the examiner?

31

Cruzing towards the nomination, Ted ‘Backpfeifengesicht’ Cruz gets the endorsement of known loony Steve King.

I’m still standing by my prediction that Cruz is going to either get to the number 2 position in the race quite easily, or if Trump gets bored and drops out, he could easily become the number 1.

But also too, how about a Trump-Cruz ticket? Trump names Cruz when asked about VP spot

Okay, so they want not only DHS, but also the FBI (who has no jurisdiction outside the US) and the DNI to sign off on every…single…refugee individually. This bill seems less about making sure that America is kept “safe” and more about further complicating the process in the hopes that these refugees will just give up and apply somewhere else.

None.

I’d add snark tags, but that’s the reality we’re dealing with. I truly believe that if those refugees had blond hair, blue eyes, and lily white skin, we wouldn’t be hearing a peep about this. The threat is just the excuse a lot of people are telling themselves to feel better about it.

Or were from an ethnic group that voted for Republicans. (Of course, Arab-Americans DID vote for Republicans up until 2000. I wonder what caused the change.)

In the birthplace of democracy, the right to demonstrate is viewed as a hallowed tradition. In the wake of the assault on America, the Greeks have been living up to that time-honoured practice with outbursts of anti-Americanism by protesters who chant that Uncle Sam had it coming.

Last week, around 30,000 Athenian football fans attending a Uefa match between AEK Athens and the Scottish club Hibernian jeered throughout the minute’s silence held in honour of the terror victims. The Scots looked on aghast as the fans then tried to burn the Stars and Stripes in the stalls.

Speaking in Iowa, the retired neurosurgeon told an audience of supporters, “Any responsible policy on Syria must begin with a fact-finding mission, and such a mission must begin with Googling.”

He said that “Google holds the key” to many questions about Syria. “Where is it? Who lives there? How many square miles is it? These are all things that have to be pinned down,” he said.

Carson, who leads several Republican Presidential polls, said that while his search for answers would start with Google, he would “not rule out” seeking information at Wikipedia and beyond. “No Web site should be taken off the table at this time,” he said.

In closing, he said that he had “no plans” to Google Egypt, since he was already extremely well versed in that nation’s history.

Motherfuckers, another reason to be ashamed of Virginia tonight:

A meeting Tuesday evening to discuss a proposed Islamic mosque in Spotsylvania County quickly turned combative, with one man proclaiming, “Every Muslim is a terrorist.”

Samer Shalaby, a trustee of the Islamic Center of Fredericksburg, began what was advertised as a “community meeting” with a moment of silence for the victims of Friday’s terrorist attack in Paris. After the moment, a man said, “Amen and thank you!” and another person proclaimed “praise God!”

Shalaby then started a presentation on the Islamic Center’s plan to build an 8,000-square-foot mosque at the corner of Old Plank Road and Andora Drive. The mosque would move there from its current location on Harrison Road, across State Route 3 from Harrison Crossing.

But it didn’t take long before Shalaby was interrupted by a man who said, “Nobody, nobody, nobody wants your evil cult.”

Some people in the packed room at the Chancellor Community Center—including opponents of the project—expressed disagreement, while others clapped.

“I will do everything in my power to make sure this does not happen because you are terrorists,” the man continued. “Every one of you are terrorists.”

“How do you come up with that?” Shalaby replied.

Shortly thereafter, a uniformed sheriff’s deputy in attendance said he would stop the meeting “if this gets to a violent point.” He noted that he was greatly outnumbered.
“Can we at least please keep it civil for me and my wife and my three children?” the deputy said.

Supervisor Timothy McLaughlin, whose Chancellor District includes the proposed mosque site next to the Ashleigh Park subdivision, asked the crowd to let Shalaby give his presentation before posing questions.

That didn’t happen, and the tension continued to escalate—with shouting matches and expletives—until the deputy waved his arms and called off the meeting.

“Listen to me, it’s done,” the deputy said. The attendees complied with his order to exit the building.

One of the last exchanges happened when a man shouted, “If you want to do your thing, go to Fairfax!”

“Well guess what, we’re already here,” Shalaby replied. “And guess what, we are not going anywhere.”

He said the Islamic Center has been in the Fredericksburg area for nearly three decades and at its current location since 2000.

Well, then, just close all the borders! I mean, people come in all the time on tourist or student visa and get virtually no screening whatsoever, so clearly we shouldn’t let any of them in. <— end result of what you are saying, taken to the extreme

Just so we’re clear, you can at least acknowledge that it was not a fuck up of the background checks related to the refugee process? That it was the same level of fuck up as if Russia had called to warn about some US citizen that had been born here and the dots failed to be connected in the same way? Because you were trotting this out as an example of why the refugee program absolutely shouldn’t be, because of this failure of the program when it turns out that the timeline completely blows that out of the water.

Sorry to hear you feel you’ve been treated unfairly by the ACA. It has flaws and disadvantages, and I believe there are better ways. Given it’s origin from the Heritage Foundation* and by Mitt Romney, flaws aren’t surprising. But millions of people now have health insurance as a result of the ACA, which has significantly slowed the insane increase in the costs of medical treatment.

I fell last year while running. Seriously gashed my forehead (6 stitches) and broke/dislocated a finger (another 6 stitches). Doctors wanted multiple CT scans. Total emergency room bill was over $10,000. And then there was the cost of the physical therapy, medications, etc. on top of the emergency room bill.

Couple of years before that, they discovered a problem which has been successfully treated. Total cost was over $240,000.

My health insurance covered most of the costs for these unanticipated events. So my treatment costs weren’t passed on to other patients. Multiplied by millions of other folks, this cost savings has finally slowed health care costs.

I’m betting your previous plan wouldn’t have covered much in similar circumstances. Maybe you were comfortable with that risk. Maybe a quarter of a million dollars worth of medical bills wouldn’t be a problem for you. If so, I applaud your success.

Obamacare isn’t perfect and can be improved.

Presidents since Nixon have talked about the need to deal with the issue of health care and increasing costs. To hate a President for finally tackling the issue, even granting that the solution isn’t perfect, seems a tad self centered.

*Well after the Heritage Foundation started calling the ACA an evil plot, I was able to download a copy of their healthcare plan written as a republican counter to Hillary Clinton’s push as First Lady. I occasionally send copies to RWNJs, especially those citing the Heritage Foundation as a source against Obamacare, challenging them to find major policy differences. Tends to result in crickets.
