Ben Carson Decides Not to Stick to His “Celebrating Muslims” Story
In the ongoing sitcom of the GOP presidential campaign, Ben Carson is now backing away from his statement that he “Saw the Film” of Muslims cheering in New Jersey on 9/11.
I’m thinking his advisers pulled him aside after that ridiculous performance and had a few words with him about the advisability of jumping on board the Trump bandwagon for this issue.
.@RealBenCarson spox Doug Watts: Carson was mistaken when he said he saw film of Muslims celebrating on 9/11 in Jersey City (1/3)

“He doesn’t stand behind his comments [on] New Jersey and American Muslims,” Watts told ABC’s @KFaulders. (2/3)

“He was rather thinking of the protests going on in the Middle East and some of the demonstrations” there on 9/11 (3/3)

Of course, he was asked more than once about whether he was certain he saw these celebrations in New Jersey, not the Middle East, and replied with a definite affirmative. He got caught lying, obviously, but nobody expects any politician to admit that.
What a clown show.
