Right Wing Troll Chuck C. Johnson Pleased at Colorado Planned Parenthood Attack

And he threatens “women thinking of getting abortions”
WTF • Views: 79,004

There’s a lot of horrible stuff being posted at right wing blogs following the attack on the Planned Parenthood office in Colorado Springs today. But cyberstalker Chuck C. Johnson, who actually has a reason to — at least — offer a pro forma denunciation like his nervous pal David Daleiden (the National Abortion Federation is taking legal action against both of them), has posted an unusually disgusting rant at his Facebook page, saying he isn’t “disappointed” that Planned Parenthood was attacked.

And he proceeds to threaten women considering getting abortions, using this attack as an example of what might happen to them.

I can’t say I am disappointed that there may have been a shooting near a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs.

Is this the John Brown incident so many in the pro-life movement have prophesied? Doesn’t look like it. I’m hearing it’s not connected at all to Planned Parenthood. Of course that doesn’t mean it won’t be seized on by Pro-aborts to demonized those of us peacefully trying to change abortion law through exposes and journalism. (That’s why they have come down so hard on me for daring to exercise the First Amendment.)

Still, this might shift the Overton Window a touch to the right.

I hope women thinking of getting abortions realize how dangerous those places are for their health and peace of mind.

He has no sympathy for the women or the employees who were terrorized by the attack, but he is concerned about the police.

I’m sorry to hear of police officers getting shot at out there. Stay safe officers!

What an absolutely grotesque individual.

At this point, if I came upon him lying in the street, gut-shot, bleeding, and screaming for help, I’d keep on walking.

OK, OK, I’d take out my phone and dial 911 eventually. But I might need to check Twitter first, and my e-mail. And maybe Yelp, if I was hungry.

Flashback to 2009:

Conservatives are up in arms about a report from the Department Of Homeland Security entitled “Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic And Political Climate Fueling Resurgence In Radicalization And Recruitment.” (Here it is, in PDF form.)

The report is “one of the most embarrassingly shoddy pieces of propaganda I’d ever read out of DHS,” writes Michelle Malkin, who deems it a “piece of crap report” that serves as “a sweeping indictment of conservatives.”

Coverage of the report presently occupies both the top spot on the Drudge Report and a prime second location on the site, where it comes with a picture of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and the words “SHE IS WATCHING YOU.”
cbsnews.com

June 1, 2009
ABOUT THAT DHS REPORT…. For the most part, the conservative apoplexy has faded in response to a Department of Homeland Security report on potentially-violent right-wing extremists. In April, the document was the springboard for a manufactured controversy, but Republicans and political reporters more or less gave up when it became clear the arguments were baseless and there was no reason for Secretary Janet Napolitano to resign.

Given the assassination of Dr. George Tiller yesterday in Kansas, however, it’s only natural to revisit the issue. Indeed, the DHS report was specifically about violent radicals — there were documents prepared on both right-wing and left-wing extremists — and it explored those who might do harm to physicians and/or medical facilities.washingtonmonthly.com

This morning, the DFW area set a record for the most amount of rain in a year since recording began. This included a summer where we almost set a record for consecutive days with out rain, and we still have a month to go. We’ve received more rain than Seattle.

David Daleiden is a dishonest fanatical creep associated with some of the worst people in America, but even he understands that he can’t be seen to support violence against Planned Parenthood.

Even Operation Rescue has a big featured post on their site right now “deploring” this attack. Sure they do. They’re not fooling anyone who knows what they actually stand for, but they know how to play the game.

It’s because he gets away with it. He has a skill, perhaps an innate one, for skirting lines and saying things that are just shy of earning him an ass-kicking. I’d say his brain is constructed for this role specifically. He’s a born troll and he loves it.

Really?? Like, over the course of the year? Even with effectively no rain at all between June and October?

It’s all come down in super-rainy weekends too. May, June, and November have all featured 3-day non-stop rainstorms. The current watering actually destroyed my weekend plans to ride my bike to Arkansas and back. High temps in Ouachita National Forest were supposed to be 50 degrees with 1” of flooding rain today. Not fun motorcycling weather at all…

Hi Lizards.

Went for a hike with my sister today and we did some bird watching. Bunch of harriers, two great blue herons, and an assortment of water birds.

Probably a much better use of my time than dealing with reality right now.

Like I suspect is true for a lot of other female Lizards, the abortion discussion is not a logical/philosophical one for me. This is reality, a reality that has some very real potential ramifications for me as a woman in the US.

I guess that’s what I’ll say about that.

No worries. I just suspect he’s relying on his detractors to keep him in the public eye until he convinces Twitter to reinstate him and he can achieve his life goal of being a piece of shit on social media.

Nope. Chuck, He (and others) needs to be exposed each and every time he/they spews his/their vileness. I could use several adverbs to describe him/them, but I know how the Lizard Nation feels about using De-humanizing terms. So I shall leave it at that. Shine the purifying light of truth/scorn upon them and watch them (with subdued) glee wither away.

The “Bank Robber” diversion failed so they have to find a new talking point.

From here:

2009 - St. Paul, Minnesota

Matthew L. Derosia told authorities Jesus made him drive his SUV into the entrance of a clinic, the Star -Tribune reported. “Close down the Auschwitz death camp,” Derosia was quoted saying in a criminal complaint. No one was injured in the attack.

2013 - Bloomington, Indiana

Benjamin David Curell pleaded guilty to violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act when he brought a hatchet to a clinic and vandalized it with red paint. He said he attacked the clinic because it provided abortion services.

2015 - Pullman, Washington

A Planned Parenthood clinic was set on fire, the Spokesman-Review of Spokane reported. No was injured in the arson, but it caused significant damage to the facility. “This is an appalling act of violence towards Planned Parenthood, but unfortunately a predictable ripple effect from the false and incendiary attacks that fuel violence from extremists,” said Karl Eastlund, CEO of Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho.

Well, Charles’ point about DD coming to regret working with Chuck is on point. Daleiden knows when to keep his trap shut. Chuck doesn’t. His constant need to reference himself in his blog posts will be his (and DD’s) undoing, because Chuck invariably says stuff he shouldn’t while involved in two legal cases — one of which might lead to criminal charges.

Came to drop off some hard facts because of the current hysteria over terrorism and the way the wingnuts always bring up jihadists. You may find some of the results surprising—I know I did. I’ve placed the page number where the data can be found in the PDF of the report after each ellipsis in the square brackets. Data focus is on 2014 and emphasis is in the original:

Boko Haram overtakes ISIL to become the most deadly terrorist group in the world. Deaths attributed to Boko Haram increased by 317 per cent in 2014 to 6,644. ISIL was responsible for 6,073 terrorist deaths.

Terrorist activity is highly concentrated — five countries accounted for 78 per cent of deaths. Fifty-seven per cent of all attacks and 78 per cent of all deaths occurred in only five countries; Iraq, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Syria.

Thirteen times as many people are killed globally by homicides than die in terrorist attacks. At least 437,000 people are victims of homicide each year, which is over 13 times more than the number of victims of terrorism. […p6]

Two groups are responsible for half the deaths from terrorism — Boko Haram and ISIL. Fifty-one per cent of terrorist deaths that are attributed to a terrorist group were by Boko Haram and ISIL. […p6]

Excluding Turkey, Europe accounted for 21 per cent of all foreign fighters in 2014. Half of the foreign fighters are from neighbouring Middle-East and North Africa (MENA) countries and an additional four per cent are from Turkey. […p6]

The majority of deaths from terrorism do not occur in the West. Excluding the September 11 attack, only 0.5 per cent of deaths from terrorism have occurred in the West since 2000. Including September 11, the percentage reaches 2.6. […p7]

Islamic fundamentalism was not the main cause of terrorism in the West over the last nine years. Eighty per cent of deaths by lone wolf terrorists in the West were driven by right wing extremism, nationalism, antigovernment sentiment and political extremism and other forms of supremacy. […p7]

Full report: 2015 Global Terrorism Index (PDF)

Additional reports can be found on this page.

Also, this little tidbit provided in a report over at the State Department made my eyes bug out. It’s in the section called “Incidents of Terrorism Worldwide” (immediately following Table 1):

On average, there were 1,122 terrorist attacks, 2,727 deaths, and 2,899 injuries per month worldwide in 2014. There were 2.57 fatalities and 2.87 injuries per attack, including perpetrator casualties.

2,727—almost as many we lost on 9/11, and it’s happening every month. Try to wrap your head around that.

Okay, now I’ve depressed myself, so I’m gonna go look for something happy to read or watch. G’nite, lizards.

Here’s someone’s drone footage of some of the flooding in Garland:

Garland Shooting Range Flooding 3:30pm on 11/27/2015

At about :32 seconds, on the right side of the road, where there’s a thin gap between the trees, is a creek. The creek is only about a third of the width separating the trees.

At about :40, on the left, is the blue roof of a gun range. On the right is a field. There’s no lake or pond or any kind of water behind the gun range. It’s just all flooding.

That is such a tiny minority in your party though, DF. The Grand Old Fascists have long stopped being an even slightly rational conservative party and there really isn’t anything you can do to save it. Hell dude, some of our Blue Dogs are more conservative than you. There are options other than going down with the theocrats and neo-Italian black shirts Trump is foisting on our nation (the thugs at those rallies will find a uniform soon - black, brown or blue doesn’t matter. After diligent research, GotNwes has a scoop:

BREAKING: How dare @Buzzfeed have a better memory than Chuck C. Johnson of his homophobic tweets

Today’s breaking, hot and sweaty nwes at GotNewsDotCom is Chuck C. Johnson’s whine that Buzzfeed doesn’t like him much.

They called him a “troll.” They omitted his reference to Donald Trump’s son as autistic. And, horror of horrors! They accused Johnson of saying a train engineer’s sexual orientation caused a train wreck outside Philadelphia in May.

Here’s what Buzzfeed said:

Johnson has been called out for several controversial statements and actions — like saying homosexuality caused a fatal Amtrak derailment and apparently calling for someone to “take out” a prominent black protester.

And here’s Johnson’s semi-literate response on his blog Independent Internet Newspaper (emphasis added):

In other words, they deliberately cut the context and that’s how the article ends without any ending comment. It’s also inaccurate. I have never claimed that homosexuality called a fatal Amtrak derailment and no one serious thinks I was speaking anything but metaphorically about #BlackLivesMatter racial agitator DeRay McKesson.

Johnson even whined on Facebook about the train wreck remark.

After two weeks of refugees and Muslims being bashed, I want the Democrats to retaliate for this, and start calling the conservatives Terrorists. My friends have been bashed by these assholes for 2 weeks. You can attack me all you want, I know I have a tremendous anger problem, and a massive dark side. But the moment you attack my friends, even by just calling them terrorists as part of a group, I will become angry, as they are far better people than me, and they have been very loving and caring to me, even when I am not. So, I want to make sure the conservatives know just how awful they have been.

Do not use the people you care about as an excuse to be angry.

You’re looking for things to be angry about…that is what you need to deal with first. And, no, there is no loophole of “but this time I get to angry because reasons.”

Your anger was unreasonable before you found this issue to latch it to and give it structure. You’re just projecting onto the latest in a long list of people. Have you even kept track of how often you’ve thrown off the handle, just on this board, in the written medium? Federal judges are generally hard-nosed and know the law inside and out. Sensible lawyers have good reason to fear them. Chuck’s Missouri lawyer is not one of those lawyers.

Yep. A pissed-off Fed Judge, who has carefully laid the groundwork to prevent reversal of his decisions upon appeal, can set about barbecueing your ass. Slow-roasted CCJ will not approach the legendary goodness of the GoddamFranks’ leg o’ lamb, but I must admit, there will be a certain satisfaction to be derived out of the weeks to come.

Look for a series of judgements that shut down CCJ’s case. And then the SLAPP suit hits. The legal costs get assessed. The legal costs get approved. CCJ tries to wriggle out. His assets get frozen. His assets get liquidated for damages. He gets evicted from his house.

And that ain’t even touching the criminal charges he’s about to face from the MoFo gang.

Time will tell. John C. “Jonathon” Burns has until Dec. 4 to pull himself together to reply to Gawker’s objections. Once those are on the judge’s desk, he’ll likely make some decisions pronto.

I really can’t see how he would rule in favor of Chuck, given the tone of his orders thus far and my knowledge of libel law. Chuck is bragging online about how Gawker is going for a fall, but I think he’s got the shoe on the wrong foot.

I think a lot depends on how vindictive the Gawker lawyers are willing to be. They could just slap CCJ around a bit after the first decisions get handed down, and CCJ’s case gets thrown out, with prejudice and sanctions are awarded. If his lawyer had been around the block more than once, he would have sniffed this one in the wind a while back, and recused himself.

Anyone who is not a complete legal dumbass can’t help but read the judge’s decisions and realize that they have just sailed into the Here Be Dragons area of the law.

I kinda think that the Gawker lawyers are going to be fairly nasty about this - if for no other reason, than to scare away anyone else hoping to extract go-away money out of their clients. My earlier estimates of the exposure that CCJ faces ranges from $120,000-$600K. That may be conservative at this juncture, and this steaming-mad judge is quite likely to snicker and stamp “IT IS SO ORDERED” when he sees those docs.

Or the bought and paid for hispanic from Miami who tells us dumb whites one thing in English and the same day tell his base the opposite in Spanish about amnesty. Or perhaps the neurosurgeon who seems pretty dim, utterly uneducated on politics, completely inexperienced in politics and executive responsibilities, and in horribly over his head. Or perhaps the slick genius Constitutional lawyer who oddly can’t block any significant legislation, ever, in the Senate (why no holds, Ted?) who also has a seemingly big eligibility issue as he’s not a “natural born citizen.”

I wish somebody would just come out and say on a national stage to whatever GOP ass-clown they eventually choose:

“Your party’s platform is built on the emotional pet rages of white supremacist whack-jobs who want another Civil War. You’re not even hiding it anymore. Your supporters want to fuck over everybody who isn’t what they see in the mirror, because they can’t bring themselves to admit that they voted for people who keep everyone broke. Your entire communications strategy is built around hate. You lie to your supporters, and you lie to the world. You would rather see everyone plunged into the depths of murder and misery, than lift a finger to help another person with the power of the largest government on Earth. You are disgusting, and by the way, even Jesus would probably call you an asshole.”

Additional reports can be found on this page.

Also, this little tidbit provided in a report over at the State Department made my eyes bug out. It’s in the section called “Incidents of Terrorism Worldwide” (immediately following Table 1):

2,727—almost as many we lost on 9/11, and it’s happening every month. Try to wrap your head around that.

Okay, now I’ve depressed myself, so I’m gonna go look for something happy to read or watch. G’nite, lizards.

Wow. That ought to be a page… Or a front page. Or shared. Or whatever the kids do these days to spread something?? I dunno, I’m kind of cross-post illiterate. :)

Here’s someone’s drone footage of some of the flooding in Garland:

[Embedded content]

Video

At about :32 seconds, on the right side of the road, where there’s a thin gap between the trees, is a creek. The creek is only about a third of the width separating the trees.

At about :40, on the left, is the blue roof of a gun range. On the right is a field. There’s no lake or pond or any kind of water behind the gun range. It’s just all flooding.

Ye gods. I haven’t shot there, but knowing minimum sizes of open space at most ranges, that’s a lot of water. And it’s still coming down.

The Guardian profiles Daisy Ridley, who plays the female lead in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

theguardian.com

JJ Abrams is quoted as saying he chose Ridley, a relative unknown, in honor of the original casting of Star Wars IV.

Casting an unknown was entirely deliberate, Abrams said recently. “That’s something I remember loving about the original trilogy: not having seen these people before,” he told Elle magazine. “It was exciting but also terrifying because we knew that there was going to be a certain level of scrutiny and expectation on who these people were going to be. So they needed to be actors whom the audience could discover as these characters, not as actors they’d seen elsewhere. Ideally, it needed to be people like Daisy - somewhat experienced, but mostly new to the game.”

Hey, Coloradoans! I need some assistance. In Feb. 2013 a woman named Ayanna Byers sued Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, alleging her abortion had been botched. UpChuck and other RWNJs are predictably harping on this case as proving … something. While I can find hundreds of websites referring to the initial filing, I have not been able to find the final disposition of the case.

I’ve sent a records request to the El Paso County District Court, but then I thought maybe somebody local could just visit the courthouse and look it up. It doesn’t seem to be available online.

Thanks in advance!

So, I’ve had trouble sleeping due to a case of heartburn from an unwise decision to eat some spicy food yesterday before falling asleep, and only managed 4 hours of sleep in 24 hours. Now my supervisor just called me to say she had a family emergency and needs me to cover her morning shift starting in 2 hours, when I was just about to try to get a few hours more of sleep.

About the only good thing I can say is at least I’ll have a bit more money for Christmas gifts, though at the rate things are going, I’m going to be too busy working to get any shopping done.

Like I suspect is true for a lot of other female Lizards, the abortion discussion is not a logical/philosophical one for me. This is reality, a reality that has some very real potential ramifications for me as a woman in the US.

It is necessarily a logical/philosophical/ethical debate as well, regardless of what negative things are happening in reality. So are the issues of personhood, life, death, freedom, bodily autonomy, equality, justice, war, greater good, lesser evil and so on. They may have a direct relation to the real world and they can be treated on their own terms. Assumptions can be analyzed. Definitions can be taken to their logical conclusions. One can’t really escape from the philosophical inquiry.

ANALYSISIS: Colo Springs shooting is totally #PlannedParenthood ‘s fault for going after me!

GotNwes has once again peered into the high IQ mind of Chuck C. Johnson in an effort to translate his latest rant analysis into plain English.
——-
Police have arrested Robert Lewis Dear, and charged him with killing a police officer and two civilians at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs.

Well, if Planned Parenthood hadn’t gone after me for publishing those anti-abortion videos at GotNewsDotCom, this shooting wouldn’t have happened! It’s all their fault.

In fact, we don’t know yet why Dear shot up that clinic, but I have some ideas. It’s the oppression by Planned Parenthood on people like me. If they didn’t prevent people from harassing clients and employees and from publishing hours of smear videos online, none of this would have happened!

Nyet  Nov 28, 2015 • 3:17:46am

But to reiterate, the debate about secular personhood has indeed very little practical consequence for the abortion debate. No secular definition that puts the beginning of personhood at conception (or, indeed, before the cerebral cortex develops) is at all plausible. This leaves us with the tension between a possible personhood of a late-term fetus and its mother’s bodily autonomy, but, as I have pointed out, the number of late-term abortions is minuscule, and the number of those that are elective is vanishing. Since the tension arises in earnest only for this latter small number of abortions (if they are performed at all), the debate is indeed almost purely theoretical.

I can’t believe this shit is still going on. I’m an old woman now, and this stupid crap about controlling a woman’s body has gone on too long. In the late ‘60’s, it was horribly difficult to get the pill if single. The doctors who would prescribe it basically treated single women as trash. And women I know sought illegal abortions. Thankfully, they all survived.

Then Roe v Wade, woohoo! I was a young married woman and working my way through college with my husband. We should have been young lovers, but the pressure was enormous to get married. I lived in fear of pregnancy as I watched my friends give up their dreams when they became pregnant and somewhat reluctantly settled into being housewives.

I lived just outside of WDC. Every day as I drove to work, I saw the protesters outside of Planned Parenthood. I called PP to tell the frightened person who answered that I was grateful to know that I didn’t have to give up everything I dreamed of because I was pregnant. The receptionist cried. And I did, too. During the years that followed, I joined in protecting PP by forming circles around the buildings to protect them from threats and escorting patients into the building.

About 15 years later, I was pregnant and happily so. Genetic testing showed a potential severe disability. I was within 48 hours of having the legal option to abort. I needed to study the situation and reach a conclusion, but also faced the probability that I would be harassed in the hospital because someone was leaking info to anti people. Frigging nightmare. No internet at the time, so I called up researchers on the phone, weighed options, and decided the odds were in our favor the baby would likely not be destined to a short and sad life. (And indeed, he is doing fine!) Had I chosen to abort, I would have needed to fly to another state.

I would like to be a better person, but truth is that I hate everyone who interferes with these profoundly difficult decisions. Just shut the fuck up. I’ll stop there. Please pardon the rant.

Sources claimed Ms Mustafa, 28, and Mr Etches, 24, “badmouthed” union president Adrihani Rashid to students. They are also said to have accused Ms Rashid of behaving “undemocratically” by refusing to publicly support student demonstrations.

This allegedly led to Ms Rashid leaving her £22,000-a-year role last week. The students’ union pledged to launch an independent inquiry into the bullying claims, backed by Goldsmiths, which called for a full investigation. There is now only one sabbatical officer left at the university.

Yep, just as I wrote earlier, some people are in it for “respectable” bullying. Mustafa is of course the racist and sexist “diversity officer” earlier criminally investigated for hate speech.

I think it’s pretty likely that this will end up as a politically motivated terrorist act, incited by deceptive videos and inflammatory rhetoric.

But it’s still within the 24 hours after. The truth is that there’s no known motivation yet. I realise the news networks are fairly insistent on pushing this angle instead of leaping to Muslim speculation as they would if he was brown with a black beard, but that doesn’t mean we should gleefully speculate against extremists we don’t like either. Although unlikely, it is entirely plausible that this is a guy going in to shoot his ex-wife or something like that instead. That sort of thing has caused mass shootings before.

I, for one, am once again disappointed at the things we do know. Namely, that yet another American has easily accessed a lot of guns and used them, and that the only practical political response will be to apologise once again to the Sacred Gun. And also that, once again, an armed white man is somehow taken alive, while unarmed black preteens are executed within seconds of the cops arriving.

From the heavy.com fast five facts:

heavy.com

As someone who has more experience with sovereign citizen nutters than the average bear, a couple of things stand out: “driver’s license violations” and “driving a non-registered vehicle.” Both of those could be signs of a sovereign citizen, but I’d have to know more to be sure.

It is our moral imperative to wait for some facts to come out before going off on any speculative tangents.

That said, it must be Obama’s fault…

My gunsmith brother had a wingnut co-worker in Colorado Springs who would use code-words for guns, shooting and the like even in private conversations. He was that afraid the NSA or whatever was listening in to him. “Hey, DR, want to go bowling tomorrow?”
“Bowling? Sorry, I don’t bowl.”
Then the nut would make a quick gesture like aiming a rifle, “You know, BOWLING, at the, uh, alley out east of town. I know you do that kind of bowling.”
“Uh, no thanks.”

I have a wingnut cousin who I saw on Thanksgiving. He’s a retired union member, but listens to Rush, votes GOP, and owns a large cache of weapons. My father asked him if he had a concealed weapons permit. My wingnut cousin responded to the effect, “Nope. I don’t want one. I don’t want the temptation to use a pistol when it’s not needed”. Perhaps there is some hope for some.

Traditionalist Christians love quoting John 3:16. Not so much the sentences that follow.

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

How very loving and tolerant.

re: #275 Lani

FANTASTIC Rant! No need to apologize!

I think he’s said that he’s “on the spectrum” before. That’s fine. I agree with him about respecting the cognitively different, as he puts it. But you have to laugh when he talks about “being ethical.” His Facebook comment is incoherent, of course. He wants to criticize Trump, but just can’t quite manage to follow through. Not surprising when he has supporters like Jane in his FB feed:

TBQH, I think he did it to make fun of the guy. But OTOH, the guy was pestering him, he fights back hard. It’s like poking the dragon. The worst part is, the REPORTER took to the waaaambulance and sicc’ed the media on Trump. OTOH, this only makes Trump look better in the eyes of the world and Americans because he is unapologetic and takes no prisoners. And this gives Trump loads of publicity. Does it matter what happened? No, not really. People are really upset over terrorism, refugees, muslims coming in, taxes, jobs and are sick of all of the SJW gotcha bs that the media is pulling on a daily basis against Trump, while giving Hills a huge pass.

Laquan McDonald’s death exposes Chicago’s rotten system

The problems are not about tactics and training; they’re about a culture of impunity, including a police union that routinely covers for even the dirtiest cops. At least 15 misconduct complaints had been lodged against Mr. Van Dyke over the years, none of which resulted in disciplinary action. In the decade ending in 2014, the city is estimated to have spent $500 million settling legal claims arising from police misconduct; that was before it paid $5 million to Mr. McDonald’s family this year.

Dear spent time at a small cabin in North Carolina with no electricity or running water about a half-kilometre up a twisty dirt road near Black Mountain, a neighbour said. On Saturday, there was a cross made of twigs on the door of the pale yellow shack.

“You can tell his personality is just off. The way he looked at you, the way he talked, he just seemed off,” said James Russell, who lives a couple hundred metres down the mountain. “If you talked to him, nothing with him was very cognitive — topics all over place.”

“…On Friday, Mr. Aichele and other members of the church got the news that Officer Swasey had been shot, and they were asked to pray. When it became clear he had not survived, Mr. Aichele said, they gathered at his home, where his wife broke the news to their 10-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter.

“She had to tell her kids that their daddy wasn’t coming home,” Mr. Aichele said.

Let my anger define who I am. A PP supporter and my wife a patient. An indy who is very tired of RW liars and bigots. Aghast at the agendas in play of denial after attack after attack on PP facilities. A guy who has dedicated a good chunk of his time to self defense training for good people and many police agencies because of men just like the PP attacker. The RW’s can trash talk and lie all they want. Me? I’ll be going back to what i already do to make sure if only in a small or indirect way the next attacker gets stopped faster. 2. Jesus-Inspired Demolition Derby
On the anniversary of Roe v Wade in 2009, Matthew Derosia rammed his SUV into the front entrance of a Planned Parenthood clinic in St. Paul, Minnesota. Derosia, who had a history of mental illness, claimed that Jesus told him to do it. According to the St. Paul Star Tribune, after smashing the door a few times, he got out of the vehicle and “was heard shouting Bible verses and the words, ‘Close down the Auschwitz death camp.’” Although he caused thousands of dollars’ worth of damage, no one was injured.

3. Windowsill Fire-Bombing
In Grand Chute, Wisconsin, in 2012, Francis Grady was arrested for bombing a local Planned Parenthood clinic. The bomb was placed on a window sill, and caused a fire that led to damage of one of the exam rooms. No one was injured, but afterwards, the FBI reaffirmed its commitment to better protect women’s access to reproductive health facilities. When asked why he did it, Grady responded “because they’re killing babies there.”

And so on at the link.

You completely miss the point that this person is parroting what Republican’s are saying. You do that all the time. This shooting is end game what the GOP has been trying to make happen for years…what the GOP candidates for President of the United States of America have been egging on. PP sells baby parts. Stop them militarily. Stop them using any methods possible. Congressional hearings into PP misconduct (of which there is none).

You always do that. You look so narrowly at a given topic and completely miss the bigger picture of what the Republican’s are doing. That is so incredibly frustrating. All you have to do is listen to what they say and watch what they do. All of them. Every last one of them.

A ‘moonbat’ refers to a (usually vitriolic) person on the far-left. Former congressman Pete Stark (D, CA) is an example of a moonbat, which is part of why the Democrats in his district showed him the exit in 2012. By contrast, New York Senator Chuck Schumer, though often harsh in his attacks, is not part of the far left nor does he have the “Purity Now!” feelings characteristic of moonbats. Thus Sen. Schumer is not a moonbat.

Nitpicks that kind of stuff, but never addresses anything we say about who he supports.

Left or right. American or not. Christian or Muslim or ? Who said what. Today that’s all the wrong measures and labels. Afternoon Lizardim. It’s bitterly cold here in the wild north country, but that didn’t stop me from getting out and flying my quadcopter. Today’s flight didn’t get recorded because the winds were pretty gusty and I was purely focused on maintaining control of the craft in the limited space of my front yard, but I took a video yesterday in calmer weather of the snow on the ground and the mailman making his rounds. How go things among the lizardfolk on this bright, sunny, very cold Saturday?

They used to be. 30 years ago, 40 years ago, more than half of OB/Gyn’s did a few abortions a year. It’s only since it became a huge security problem that full-service ob/gyn’s stopped doing those few per year and it switched to every abortion within 100 miles happening at one place with 12-foot fences, their own parking lot and steel doors, and specialist practitioners who that’s all they do.

Not an uncommon attitude among police officers. For all the problems cops have, most cops sincerely believe in their duty to protect the public and support their fellow officers and that means they’ll run towards the sound of the gunfire if they think they can help, even if they don’t have to.

If the Rage Furby thinks he can use his so-called autism diagnosis as a get out of jail free card he’s sorely mistaken. As a matter of fact, it’ll just make things worse for him as he’ll now have to open up his medical records and he’ll have to undergo a separate screening by another MD/PhD.

Yes, it’s in my genes.

The nitpicking may be in your genes. What isn’t is the ability to see the forest for the trees. Your party is currently defined by Trump and others who constantly stir up resentment among whites toward blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, immigrants, etc. You’re missing the big picture that the GOP is now a vehicle for white Christian backlash. Yet you refuse to admit this, instead focusing on deflection after deflection.

Check out the latest Pew Religion Survey. Just since 2007, Christians have dropped from 77% of the population to 70%. While the unaffiliated (atheists, agnostics, and “just no religion”) has jumped from 16% to 24%. Furthermore, among millennials fully one-third no longer identify with any religion.

And the biggest change is among white Christians. In 2007, they were 55% of the US population. But now that number has plummeted to 45%. If you think there’s no paranoid white Christian backlash resulting from their steep decline, you’ve totally missed the big picture.

re: #5 Pawn of the Oppressor

Where is heroic Anonymous when we need them? How about everybody tweeting pro-murder shit gets their full name and the name of their employer posted somewhere along with copies of their tweets? How about that, hmm?

Sick of this garbage… This is what happens when you finish the shooting part of a war but don’t take out the leadership. (1865)

re: #5 Pawn of the Oppressor

Where is the ‘heroic’ Anonymous when we need them? Going after movie companies like Sony Pictures because of some bullshit that means nothing to nobody in the grand scheme of things, like most social justice warriors. Something like this that’s more important? Not interested.

re: #24 Charles Johnson

This guy is currently involved in a court case with the NAF in which he could very well end up going to jail, and instead of saying something like “I don’t support this kind of violence,” he actually comes right out and supports it.

He’s got some kind of self-destructive thing going on.

Let’s hope he goes to prision for a long, long, time, and stays there. (And no, I don’t want him to get raped in prision, either.)

re: #62 klys (maker of Silmarils)

These people (you know whom I’m talking about) are hellbent on wanting the events of a certain novel to come true for real in the USA and Canada.

re: #442 Dark_Falcon

That bunch of screaming illiterate rigmarole was just a moonbat barking. You can’t judge a party by what a small number of its members post on Twitter. The place is a cesspool and it’s format favors screaming insults over reasoned answers.

Even if that “small number” is represented by every GOP candidate running for President?
