Colorado Planned Parenthood Shooter Admired Anti-Choice Extremist Group “Army of God,” Called Them “Heroes”

It’s increasingly clear this terrorist deliberately targeted Planned Parenthood
US News • Views: 56,823

As more information emerges about his religious fanaticism and admiration for anti-choice domestic terror groups, it’s no longer possible to deny that Robert Lewis Dear deliberately chose to attack the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic.

“Turn to JESUS or burn in hell,” he wrote on one site on Oct. 7, 2005. “WAKE UP SINNERS U CANT SAVE YOURSELF U WILL DIE AN WORMS SHALL EAT YOUR FLESH, NOW YOUR SOUL IS GOING SOMEWHERE.”

A number of people who knew Mr. Dear said he was a staunch abortion opponent, though another ex-wife, Pamela Ross, said that he did not obsess on the subject. After his arrest, Mr. Dear said “no more baby parts” to investigators, a law enforcement official said.

One person who spoke with him extensively about his religious views said Mr. Dear, who is 57, had praised people who attacked abortion providers, saying they were doing “God’s work.” In 2009, said the person, who spoke on the condition of anonymity out of concerns for the privacy of the family, Mr. Dear described as “heroes” members of the Army of God, a loosely organized group of anti-abortion extremists that has claimed responsibility for a number of killings and bombings.

Have any of the usual suspects suggested Planned Parenthood doctors start carrying weapons? It would certainly be a curious departure from the norm if they have not.

Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), a leading House abortion opponent, says last week’s shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic should “only increase” efforts to defund the organization.

Franks said that the shooting at a clinic in Colorado on Friday is a reminder that both the shooter and Planned Parenthood disrespect human life.

“What this person did was evil, and it should remind us all of the common denominator that Planned Parenthood has with individuals like this who have no respect for innocent human life,” Franks told The Hill.

No amount of RWNJ spinning can deflect from the simple statistical fact that extreme RWNJ rhetoric regarding abortion will increase the rate of terrorist attacks on abortion providers.

In fact, that is one of the main reasons RWNJ leaders keep the rhetoric so heated all the time. They want to see their holy war in action.

It’s fairly maddening that people are going to these lengths to apply logic/investigation to Trump’s claims. He said he saw videos. Now everything that supports him is second hand bullshit. It all comes back to let’s see the videos. For every tweet he sends out saying he’s vindicated, the simple response should be “Where are the videos?”

In her WorldNetDaily column yesterday, Mission America’s Linda Harvey lamented that Religious Right activists like herself who boycott pro-LGBT businesses are running out of places to shop.

“Well, it’s that time again — time to get out the Christmas list and start hitting the stores,” she wrote. “The problem is — what stores? For any Christian who wants to spend hard-earned dollars with family-friendly, Christian-affirming retailers, restaurants and service providers, the list is growing shorter all the time.”

Harvey urged readers to avoid stores such as Macy’s, Target, Walmart and JC Penney, along with items from Mattel, Levi-Strauss and General Mills. For online shoppers, Harvey said that Amazon, Google and Facebook should also be off-limits.

Companies that post high scores on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, Harvey wrote, are joining “Satan’s Office Party” and “the nation’s leading self-declared enemies of Christians.”

While this may be difficult, Harvey hopes that LGBT rights opponents remember the risks of adopting “anti-American, pro-deviance legislation” supported by these companies and think “about the grave harm homosexuality is doing to American culture, to our schools, to our freedoms, to our churches.”

remember, kids, that’s:
Macy’s
Target
Walmart
JC Penney
Mattel
Levi-Strauss
General Mills
Amazon
Google
Facebook

who are on the side of the eevil one

and she forgot to mention

GOP lawmaker: Planned Parenthood is the ‘real culprit’ in the shooting

Adams County state Rep. JoAnn Windholz blames Planned Parenthood for the Nov. 27 shooting, at its Colorado Springs clinic, that left three dead and nine injured. She is one of the few Colorado Republicans to issue a statement in the wake of the attack.
“Violence is never the answer, but we must start pointing out who is the real culprit. The true instigator of this violence and all violence at any Planned Parenthood facility is Planned Parenthood themselves. Violence begets violence. So Planned Parenthood: YOU STOP THE VIOLENCE INSIDE YOUR WALLS.”

Slap on the wrist and stamped his meal card no dessert

Cpl. Jason Perkins, a reservist with Combat Logistics Battalion 451 out of Charlotte, North Carolina, awed crowds at a Nov. 21 campaign rally for the Republican candidate in Birmingham, Alabama, with a booming rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” which he performed in his dress blue uniform.
But when a video of the performance began circulating online, members of the military quickly pointed out that he was in violation of regulations prohibiting troops from wearing their uniforms to political events.
Marine Forces Reserve spokesman Capt. Andrew Chrestman said the command had reached out to Perkins after his campaign performance.
“Cpl. Perkins is now aware that his conduct violated long-standing DoD policy,” Chrestman said in an email. “[He] has been informed of the appropriate ways to participate in the political process as a member of the Marine Corps.”

Planned Parenthood shooting suspect terrorist Robert Dear appeared to solicit sex, rant about apocalypse online

The loner terrorist thug accused of the Friday rampage at a Colorado Planned Parenthood clinic appeared to have lived a manic second life online — he wrote apocalyptic ramblings, begged for pot-smoking companions and posted an ad for “discreet” sadomasochistic sex.

A username apparently connected to Robert Lewis Dear, who is accused of fatally shooting terrorist attacks against three people, may shed light on the dark side of a man who was a mystery to many until he allegedly opened fire in the Colorado Springs clinic.

[…]

The username also appeared in personal ads on at least two sex websites.

A page on SexyAds lists “a discreet relationship,” “BDSM” and “spanking” as interests. The author calls himself as a 57-year-old Asheville resident — a description that matches Dear.

We know that the supreme thing in Christianity is human sacrifice. Cruz asks Iowa radio stations to yank ‘false’ attack ad

Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz is asking Iowa radio stations to yank an attack ad that renewable fuels advocates are running against him that brands him as a “hypocrite.”

He’s arguing it contains false information, aides told The Des Moines Register Tuesday afternoon.

The kerfuffle illustrates the heightened tensions between a presidential candidate whose popularity has spiked in Iowa in recent weeks and Republicans who worry about the message conservatives would send if they elect a politician who is dead set against the Renewable Fuel Standard.

“Maybe he was a transgendered leftist” Cruz is now worried about false information.

And dwell a moment on this irony:

Consider the conservative narrative that the 1960’s were all about hippie kids shitting up the country their elders built with their disdainful Commie ways.

Now we have in the aforementioned video, a 20-something “conservative” who doesn’t do any productive work whatsoever, fighting an older “liberal” man who works for a living.

Chucky’s latest post is ridiculously funny. Titled, “BUSTED: We Found Who Ben Carson Claimed To Stab.”

He quotes a People magazine article from 1991, apparently dug up by Shannon Knutsen, and says “This new revelation contradicts other claims that Carson has made about he tried to stab a friend Bob.” Chucky says it was actually Carson’s brother.

Except it doesn’t contradict anything. The People magazine article is clear that Ben Carson’s brother was NOT the one he said he tried to stab. The article says Carson went after his brother once with a kitchen knife unsuccessfully, but then goes on to describe another incident in the very next paragraph, the one everyone knows about, in which the knife was deflected by his friend’s belt buckle. Two completely different situations.

It’s as if Chuck didn’t even read the quote he put in his stupid post. Man, this guy.

It wasn’t just the body count that shocked America. It was also the first time that the rest of the world intruded on their psyche.

“This mayor should be impeached, he should resign,” the former NYPD detective opined. “The National Guard should go into Chicago, take that city back from the thugs.”

“Maybe,” Houck shrugged. “I’m just tired of the police getting the brunt of everything that’s going on inside the inner city of Chicago.”

“You people,” the law enforcement analyst continued before he was interrupted by Baldwin.

“It’s not ‘you people,’ Harry,” the CNN host sighed. “Come on.”

Women exist to be attractive to men, didn’t you know? So if a man finds them unattractive, it will crush them into the dust and make them hang their heads in shame and disappear, leaving the field to the only people who matter — men.

Yup. It was. Without giving anything away for those who time shift their viewing, the acting was once again tip-top, and there are so many award winning performances with that cast that it’s tough to choose. Every character gets a chance to shine.

But then again, since it’s Fargo, everyone gets a chance to shine and die. Or not.

Forget that winter is coming. Winter’s always here in Fargo. And men must die (and frequently do in surprising fashion).

I waited and waited for winter to come to Westeros. I watched GoT religiously. What I got was a game of non stop rape, torture porn and abuse of nearly every female character on the program. As far as I can tell, the only major female character left who hasn’t been brutalized is Arya…and she became an assassin.

You know, when The Walking Dead seems positively cheerful and considerate by comparison, you have a problem…and I got tired of the damned raperaperaperaperaperaperaperape.

I just love that Ed and Peggy Blomquist start out as milktoast characters, but they’re actually as badass as the bad guys. In a totally loopy way. It’s great. The Coens are definitely very involved in this - their style is all over it.

The scene a couple weeks ago with Peggy and Hank reminded me a lot of the scene with Jerry and Margie in the movie. Really good acting by Kirsten Dunst I thought. The guy playing Ed reminds me of a young Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Looks a little like Matt Damon too.

Peggy’s a trip. Ed? Think he’s more along for the ride, and is willing to do anything.

But his alter ego - the Butcher of Luverne? I like his style.

The quiet ones are always the ones you have to look out for. We saw it with Hanzee, though we’ve gotten glimpses of what he can do before. We see it with Ed. They turn out to be dangerous in ways you don’t quite expect.

I kinda watch GoT but not on any schedule. But it’s hard to get into when you know that pretty much everyone dies - even the books are brutal in that way. You read a chapter? Someone dies. Another chapter? Dead. Hard to get attached to any character that way.

And yet Fargo seems different, even though the outcome is often a corpse added to the bleak landscape.

Yes it is possible for a man to totally hate women and be married to a thing he can fuck and who makes him a sammich.

I hate women so much, I married one.

That actually makes sense - he hates them so much he decided to inflict himself on a gullible one, day in and day out.

I agree. Early on in my GoT watching I decided not to become attached to any character too strongly. It’s not like the old Star Trek, where you knew that guy in a red shirt was going to beam down and never come back.

re: #312 Charles Johnson

But he was already dead by then (by Peggy’s doing - driving into him after Rye murdered the judge and others at the diner). That’s not much more than what a butcher would normally do to a piece of meat. He played cleaner in the Harvey Keitel fashion. I hear you have a problem, I’ll clean it up (right down to the bleach), and was willing to take one for the team with the car crash to cover up the original crash.

Not much of a stretch, but the real question is what he did with the remains.

Oh, and Ed’s neck? Pretty stout stuff there - first with the whiplash, and now getting hung and nearly killed, and here he is still going.

The Inflationary Model of Conspiracy Theories: A conspiracy theory can be defined as that which, when subjected to increasing scrutiny, requires more and more complex plots and involved players in order to prevent self-contradiction.

The Inflationary Limit: The ultimate limit of any conspiracy theory is that all people on Earth, other than those who believe in the conspiracy theory, are implicated in the plot. Such a theory is, by definition, automatically the worst possible theory to explain the available data.

As one who used to work in the IS side in the credit card industry, we had some interesting ‘euphamisms’ we used. Like ‘performance-based pricing’ AKA ‘penalty based pricing’ i.e., missed a payment and we’d jack your interest rate up for six months. BT’s and CC’s (Balance transfers and convenience checks) with sometimes novel pricing (0% for 6-12 months, afterwards the outstanding balance goes to your current card rate; sometimes if you were lucky you could get a low rate with FUPO (fixed until paid off.))

I took pity on the collectors-they were scored on how many calls they made in an hour and how well they actually got folks to send in money-and their supervisors would listen in on their calls and you would never know when they did that-and the later in the cycle they got the worse it would get until the account would eventually charge off (usually at 180 days.)

These days with the base interest rate so low, the credit card companies mare making money hands over fist on their card operations with their variable rate cards.

Though it is hard to satirize it, GotNwes has made the attempt.
