Or federalism, in which local and state offenses are tried at those respective levels. Republicans used to be proud of states’ rights, at least when those were more effectively used to make minorities’ lives miserable.

Issue: My auto/home insurance company is making me move auto insurance at the end of the year. I was going to switch home insurance as well (bundle discount). Our home insurance comes out of our mortgage and is due in the middle of January. My wife tried to call about the mortgage company and it seems that the company has already sent the insurance payment to our current insurance company.

Question: If I call my current insurance and cancel it, will I be able to get them to send me the insurance payment so that I can send it to the new company, or am I screwed for a year?

Two of the counts carried 30 year terms each. Even concurrent, that’s acceptable, to me if he doesn’t wind up in a Club Fed minimum security for five and out.

Serve the 30 and I’d be satisfied. It shows that disadvantaged women count as human beings.

Way I see it, even if a nutjob governor commutes his sentence by 2/3rds (which i seriously doubt would happen), with projections of ~260 years, the scum still won’t live to see a day of freedom beyond the prison bars - which is the most important thing of all insofar as i’m concerned.

re: #91 gocart mozart

Clueless fuck. Murder in the 1st is already a capital offense at the Fed level but most murders are state crimes but anyways, you can’t change the criminal laws by EO. Where are the cons? IMPEACH pre-emptively for promising to abuse executive authority!

I doubt Congress can impeach someone not yet in office, but Censure may be a possibility. Censure in the United States

Then Donald Trump started talking shit about Macy’s and I’m all like U WANT CLINIQUE? U WANT ESTEE LAUDER? HERE Y’ALL LI’L PRINCESS GALS GO.

They LOVED their gifts.

They will be the envy of their classmates.

Though he touts his outstanding memory, when Donald Trump was asked under oath about his dealings with a twice-convicted Russian émigré who served prison time and had documented mafia connections, the real estate mogul was at a loss.

Even though the man, Felix Sater, had played a role in a number of high-profile Trump-branded projects across the country.

“If he were sitting in the room right now, I really wouldn’t know what he looked like,” Trump testified in a video deposition for a civil lawsuit two years ago.

Crazy thing about Coldplay. I actually wrote a song that sounds exactly like “Clocks” in about 1975. It was very crude and the keyboard intro was monochromatic instead of played with chords, but it had the same basic blueprint, even the bass line. The words were about my hot 5th grade teacher. I could have been a one hit wonder!
