Terrorist group al-Shabab is now using Donald Trump’s anti-Muslim bigotry as a recruiting tool, exactly as Hillary Clinton stated.

Terror group al-Shabab, al-Qaeda’s Somalia-based affiliate, is using a clip from Donald Trump in a purported Islamist propaganda video — and it’s gaining traction among Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) online channels.

The nearly hour-long video, produced by al-Shabab’s media arm al-Kataib, uses a soundbite from the Republican front-runner’s speech in December calling for the “total and complete shutdown” of Muslims entering the country.

Preceding the Trump clip, a bite from the now-deceased al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Yemen in 2011, warns “Muslims of the West” to be cautious and “learn from the lessons of history.”

Yes, but some reports on Twitter are done dishonestly. The perceived threat is from people reporting others over matters that aren’t related to terrorism or prohibited activities.

An example of the feared outcome would be that Person A, who has an interest in firearms and military matters, posts a link to this story about how the 7.62x39mm and 5.56x45mm rounds inflict injury. Person B reports Person A , either because B does not guns and feels an article like that glorifies them, or just does not like Person A and wants him banned. Person B send a message to Twitter saying “This is stuff useful to ISIS!” and Person A gets banned without having done anything wrong.

Personally I think such fears overblown, being related mostly to the previous meme of “Liberals sending conservatives to the Twitter Gulag!!1” and the subsequent formation of the so-called “Twitter Gulag Defense Network (TGDN, said as ‘TiG-DeN’). That meme was BS of course, but fears of reporting being done maliciously are not entirely unwarranted. But the proper reply is careful monitoring and Twitter making adjustments as needed.

However, moderate responses do not make for dramatic television, so FNC goes for the “conservatives will be targeted!!1” mode of coverage.

And that’s what things like Open Carry are about: White privilege. FDR’s New Deal and WW2 gave whites a lot of economic security, large enough that blacks and women could actually demand a share. Even though I’m not prone to yelling at the radio or otherwise reacting to the idiocy but was wondering if the derangement and mendacity still gets to me. Not sure yet, have a lot of other stressors going on in my life.

But it makes me wonder.

Perhaps he is a good politician, and I will admit he has a certain type of intelligence. But intelligence alone does not make for a good leader. You need wisdom. And from my viewpoint, he is sadly lacking in that department. He is a complete asshole. Nobody who really knows him, likes him, not even in his own party.

He does not have the judgement needed to be POTUS.

Bromson is charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, possession of an electric stun gun and three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Foxborough Police said the assault charges were due to Bromson’s “actions and words with an object that caused three witnesses to be in fear for their safety.”
