The Bottom 3 Stupidest Conservative Comments About Obama’s Tears Over Murdered Children

They’re having a contest
Wingnuts • Views: 53,028

Standing next to the parents of children murdered by gun violence today, President Obama got emotional and teared up. And there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. It’s a sign of strength to be unafraid of your emotions, not weakness. This shouldn’t even need to be pointed out in 2016, but the conservative movement is full of throwbacks to an earlier, stupider era.

But to the conservative media, this is something to be mocked and laughed at, and fodder for crazy conspiracy theories. So without further ado, here are three of the most insane comments posted today by right wing creepazoids without a shred of human decency.

First, a conspiracy theory from Breitbart “News” editor John Nolte, one of the most deranged people currently spewing hatred at that website.

Fascist tears, people.

Second, from Fox News hate-slinger Todd Starnes, who sees something sinister in the finger Obama used to wipe away a tear.

It’s simple body language, people.

And last but not least, the inimitable Chuck C. “Rage Furby” Johnson, who can always be counted on to come up with the most unhinged and bigoted take on any given issue.

The Rage Furby’s comments remind me of what my fourth-grade bullies used to say to me. Which, honestly, that’s probably above his level, even.

The people writing this stuff still haven’t figured out it says more about them and their character flaws than it ever could about the President. Classic projection.

I’ve seen a lot of very bizarre LGF pages, but this is probably the most through-the-looking-glass thing I remember.

Let’s mock a man for crying about the murder of children, or say it means he’s gay, or impugn that he’d never be able to do such a thing without a seekrit chemical-addled conspiracy.

It’s just, like… is this real life? Is this really what passes for discourse among some people? I’ll never understand racists.

Yeah, the President totally chipped away at the 2nd amendment by saying that gun show sellers should not be able to sell you an instrument of death with a wink and a nod. However will the Republic survive?

We’ve seen so many pics of Obama and little kids - every one of them is heartwarming because he so obviously loves them and they respond with joy. That he just spent time with those parents whose young children were murdered before giving this speech that was so important to them, I marvel that he didn’t blubber all the way through it. His restraint was impressive.

I’m in agreement with Jim Wright on this, if you truly believe that guns should not be owned by certain classes of people, and that background checks are part of making that a reality, then what reason do you have for private sellers not be required to run background checks before making a sale? If it’s that private sellers will be hesitant to sell guns or even stop entirely, then I take that as a sign that those sellers aren’t serious about keeping guns out of the hands out of people that conservatives claim they support restricting gun ownership to.

To be honest, I’m pretty much done with caring what conservative-media morons spit onto Twitter.

1) Nobody who’s not already on their side thinks they make any sense.
2) Everybody who follows them will swallow anything they declare, no matter how absurd.
3) I can rest assured that anything that ever happens will be spun in the way to make Democrats seem some generic bad thing, without any real sensible connection with the thing that happened and the Bad Characteristic of the Day, whether it be effeminate weakness, goose-stepping fascism, the terrifying power of government, the completely toothless nature of government, or several at the same time. I don’t actually need to read it to guess how they’re spinning it.

I dunno, I find myself ctrl-w’ing a page more and more as it’s more and more based on idiots being idiots on twitter. If anybody’s getting convinced of anything, it’s over timescales of decades. There’s no value added for me when I read an idiot saying an idiotic thing.

Unfortunately very few of the LGF Conservatives smartened up due to all the evidence Charles put in front of their eyes, instead they went mad when they weren’t being spoon-fed their own destructive beliefs, and started stalker blogs. Only a handful stuck around and wised up.

Is this a unit with the ice dispenser on the door? Sometimes the auger that pushes the ice out the door dispenser gets unseated and stuck. Smell could be the result of the motor burning trying to turn the stuck auger.

I’d suggest checking the door side of the auger to verify that it’s properly seated.

The ice dispenser is on the door but the ice maker and bin are back in along the fridge. The auger was actually working well, but I found when I removed the bin (it had gotten frozen to the bottom of the enclosure) that there was another metal part that inserts into something that was frozen solid. Chances are good a motor was trying to turn that and that’s what burned out, at least based on the smell that greeted me as I’ve been blowing the area with the hair dryer.

Giving it a break for the moment while I sit. I’ll go back to it again and try to finish getting that area cleaned out and dried, and also wiped down before I put the bin back in and plug the fridge back in. I have a repairman scheduled to come out on Friday, but now that the bin isn’t frozen he’ll hopefully be able to get somewhere with it.

I was finally able to watch the president’s speech tonight. First, I support the goals of gun violence prevention and the executive order. I’d actually like to see additional steps but I realize that legislation would be required. I was really moved by what the president said and felt tremendous admiration and pride hearing him speak. Obviously people disagree about gun control and that is ok. I don’t understand the conspiracy theories or the way they mock and belittle thebpresident’s tears over murdered children. There was a rumor going around, which I’m not entirely sure the validity of, that the Palins conned him into marrying Bristol after she found herself with child from laying with another man. I again stress I don’t know whether the rumor has any measure of truth to it, but if true, it would explain why he so suddenly called off the wedding and why the two don’t appear to even be on speaking terms anymore.

Extremely, but staying as they are may also cause them to fade away when some new fad comes along. They don’t have a product to sell, other than their user-base, and that’s always precarious.

Obviously people disagree about gun control and that is ok. I don’t understand the conspiracy theories or the way they mock and belittle thebpresident’s tears over murdered children. There is no excuse for this kind of mean and cruel behavior.

Sadly the excuse is simply a lot of conservative politicians are complete assholes.

When I was a kid in the 70s, I thought humanity would be pretty smart by 2015. We’d have solved hunger and the mental health issues that lead to violence. We’d have huge space stations and a moon-base. Maybe even flying cars.

We’ve made much less progress than I expected, and humanity may be less intelligent than we were then.

If man can’t get smarter, there’s a top end to where technology can take us, and then it all falls apart when some nuts use technology to destroy us.

We have to get smarter, or we’re boned as a species.

God, yes. An hour would be optimistic, honestly. It took me a good 4 hours this afternoon to get it dealt with.

I’m not a ‘fridge repairman, but I bet they have some kind of a trick to thaw them out pretty quickly. One thing about mechanical things; if one has a problem, that problem will manifest itself over the whole production run until re-engineered. So the repair people have dealt with similar issues and figured out efficient fixes. You hope!

It really is disappointing that we’ve regressed in some ways. And I blame a lot of that on right wing reactionaries.

Hahahahaha. I saw this somewhere earlier today. Since there is no sign whatsoever of anyone mining anything near there that I know of (there used to be gold mining up in Cañon City, a looong way north of there,) I don’t know why the feds need to take over the Hammond Ranch. In fact in 2012 the state of Oregon wanted to spend the massive sum of $25,000 to identify where there might be mineral deposits in south east Oregon to encourage mining interests. Prices are generally down and mining costs are pretty high, so I don’t think there were any takers.

When I looked up mining in Oregon, virtually all of it is for crushed rock, sand and gravel, and other non-precious categories. There are several “gemstone” mines, but most of those are thunder eggs and agate-several in the Harney County area. No one is mining precious metals anywhere except as a hobby.

Our reaction should be “Good for them! Been there, done that.” Frankly, I think manned missions are wasteful; we can explore Mars with a fleet of robots for a fraction of the cost of one manned mission, with no risk of a horrible tragedy.

Unfortunately that’s not as helpful as you’d think, because you can get congress to cough up a lot more cash when you put men in dangerous places. Probes are only interesting to a small, smarter part of the population. Everyone else wants the drama and glory of Americans in space.
