Video: Trump Supporter Sucker Punches Protester, Says “Next Time We Might Have to Kill Him”

Trump rallies now openly violent
Politics • Views: 38,028

YouTube

At 6 seconds into this video clip, you’ll see a Donald Trump supporter sucker punch a black protester in the face as he’s being led out by security — and the police then arrest the protester, not the guy who assaulted him.

The violent Trump supporter then told Inside Edition, “Next time, we might have to kill him.”

INSIDE EDITION tracked down the supporter, 78-year-old John McGraw, who was unrepentant.

When asked if he liked the rally, he said: “You bet I liked it. Knocking the hell out of that big mouth.”

And when asked why he punched the protester, he said: “Number one, we don’t know if he’s ISIS. We don’t know who he is, but we know he’s not acting like an American, cussing me… If he wants it laid out, I laid it out.”

He added: “Yes, he deserved it. The next time we see him, we might have to kill him. We don’t know who he is. He might be with a terrorist organization.”

UPDATE at 3/10/16 1:50:54 pm by Charles Johnson

John McGraw has now been arrested and charged with assault and battery.

A 78-year-old man was arrested on Thursday and charged with assault and battery and disorderly conduct after a video appeared to show him punching a protester at a rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump. The video, which was disseminated widely on the Internet, was taken at a Trump campaign event in Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Wednesday.

Police identified the man who apparently struck the protester as John McGraw, of Linden, North Carolina. His victim was identified by The Washington Post as Rakeem Jones, 26, who told the Post he attended the rally as a “social experiment.” A Cumberland County sheriff’s office public information officer, Sergeant Sean Swain, told Newsweek that McGraw was at the rally to support Trump.

He added: “Yes, he deserved it. The next time we see him, we might have to kill him. We don’t know who he is. He might be with a terrorist organization.”

He probably doesn’t belong to a terrorist organization, but it’s becoming clear that John McGraw does.

I fear it is just a matter of time before someone is killed or seriously injured at a Trump rally. And that the incident will actually help his polling numbers.

re: #24 Dr. Matt

Has Dana or one of the other wingnut losers started a GoFundMe welfare program from him yet?

I dunno. So many factors for Dana to weigh!

In favor of doing so:
1. The protestor is a black guy.
2. The attacker is an old white guy.
3. The candidate is a Republican.

Against doing so:
1. The candidate is Donald Trump.
2. The attacker didn’t use a gun.
3. The protestor wasn’t killed.

Then they found Rage Furby’s story, and the admission became inoperative at that time.

That the protester was tackled and arrested after being punched is ridiculous. Equally ridiculous that the cop at the tail end ushering people out did nothing.

There was a hysterical exchange on the hockey reddit today about how Obama was ribbing Trudeau over the Stanley Cup. During the 7 years of the Obama presidency, the Cup has been won by an American-based team.

With that in mind, here was the exchange that cracked me up:

Obama presidency: 7/7 cups for the USA. Thanks Obama

so if canada wants to win a cup, they just have to elect a canadian as the next president! wait…

Ted Cru—on second thought let’s not send the Cup to Canada. Tis a silly place.

Alright everyone listen up! We all need to band together and make sure no Canadian team makes the playoffs!

It ended with fans of various Canadian teams reporting for that duty. (Currently no Canadian teams are in a playoff spot.)

From “Tomorrow Belongs To Me”, from Cabaret. In the movie, it’s initially sung by a innocent-looking young, blond, blue eyed boy, but pretty soon everyone’s singing it and it’s considerably less innocent.

The sun on the meadow is summery warm
The stag in the forest runs free
But gathered together to greet the storm
Tomorrow belongs to me

The branch on the linden is leafy and green
The Rhine gives its gold to the sea (Gold to the sea)
But somewhere a glory awaits unseen
Tomorrow belongs to me

Now Fatherland, Fatherland, show us the sign
Your children have waited to see
The morning will come
When the world is mine
Tomorrow belongs to me
Tomorrow belongs to me
Tomorrow belongs to me
Tomorrow belongs to me

And even if he has no plans to do anything that he promises, he’ll have won office on the promise to deport 11 million long-term residents without due process, build an enormous wall that he’s willing to make war on another country to make them pay for, exclude every member of a religion from entering - or reentering - the country, and ‘bombing the shit out of a group that lives among an innocent populace which they violently oppress.

The fact that these promises not only don’t disqualify him, but actually are getting him nominated says something deeply disturbing about America.

Yeah. That guy someone (Kragar or goddamfrank) was arguing with yesterday, who thought Trump was better than Hillary, because America would never let him do what he says he’ll do - such naivete.

Too many people think, naively, that Hitler ran for office in Weimar Germany promising death camps for the Jews, and that is what people voted for.

Hitler’s hate for the Jews and other supposed undesirables was never hidden, but that wasn’t his only way (or even his main way) of appealing for votes when he still needed to do that. Instead, the main message was pretty much ‘make Germany great again’. Hitler’s anti-Semitism was viewed by some contemporaries as merely a way to rile up the more backwards of his supporters.

Nobody knows what Trump will do in office, but the possibilities include an attempt at a quick transition to fascist governance which may or may not succeed. That alone should be enough to convince any reasonable person to vote against Trump.

The John McGraw video is disturbing.
McGraw reminds me of Levoy Finnicum. Deluded by a false philosophy to an extreme. The are deluded to the point where there is no self awareness or reflection regarding right and wrong. I would like to know what religion they follow. I am told religions help people with their moral compass.
They felt so protected from ramifications by their self righteousness that they openly, on video, flouted the rule of law with the expectation that nothing would happen them. I guess that is the definition of “white privilege”.
Finnicum paid with his life.
McGraw hopefully will feel the pain of the justice system, plus I smell a juicy civil judgment.
