Trump on MTP: “I Don’t Accept Responsibility,” May Pay Legal Fees for Violent Follower

Delusional egomania
Politics • Views: 43,848

Here’s the complete interview Donald Trump did this morning on Meet the Press, and it’s truly awful. This guy is completely beyond reason at this point, saying he’s looking into paying legal fees for his followers when they attack protesters, insisting the man who rushed his stage yesterday is connected to ISIS even though it’s been definitively debunked, and absolutely refusing to accept any responsibility for the increasingly ugly tone of his rallies even when he’s confronted with his own statement that he’d like to punch a protester “in the face” — which actually happened a few days ago.

This is getting so bad.

Trump keeps calling the ugly tone of his rallies and the protesters “fun”.

What a pathetic person.

A LOT of SS agents surrounding Trump as he starts to take questions from the audience.

It’s a Catch-22. If nobody protests, then he simply declares that he’s right because nobody will raise a voice in opposition. And if there are protests, he declares that he must be right because people are trying to “shut him up.”

Posted this at the end in the previous thread. I want everyone to be aware of it.
The comment at the end of this leads me to believe that if Trump loses in Chicago some of Trump’s followers are revving themselves up to take power by the bullet rather than the ballot box.

Huffpo reporting that Trump is issuing threats against Sanders rallies now.

Expect the Ginger Rage Furby militia types to take him up on that. This is getting beyond control.

Josh Marshall at TPM says he thinks people are going to get killed.

Yesterday Trump talked sneeringly about how sad it was that all the other candidates do town halls.
Today he’s doing a town hall in a wedding hall venue that seats 1,200…

About the only thing that makes shitstorm even more unbelievable is that the media is going along with this shit, taking time today to confront Sanders with the suggestions (entirely from Trump) that his supporters are to blame for the violence at Trump’s rallies, while also allowing Donald to shout them down when they try to get him to take responsibility for his actions.

If Trump makes it to the White House, it will be on a road paved with billions in media dollars and over the grave of the “Liberal Media.”

Funny you don’t see any right wing nut jobs at Clinton or Sanders rallies promoting violence or trying to stop free speech

That’s what I’ve been saying since yesterday, the rhetoric is just going to keep getting nastier and more violent until somebody gets killed, at which point we’ll see if Trump has the conviction of his beliefs to just gloss over a death as the fault of the victim.

He could have refuted that by pointing out that many of the protestors getting attacked are black.

I had that thought this morning, and decided the result would depend on who got killed, a ‘thug’ or a ‘real patriot/victim’.

Sorry to go OT already, but I saw this clickbait ad, and couldn’t resist:

I’m putting it in spoiler tags, as it contains a not-very-flattering picture of Shane MacGowan from The Pogues after a night on the tiles.

Charles, I know a guy’s got to earn a buck (and I will will will subscribe as soon as I have a few more bucks in the tank to do it), but wow, some of those RevContent ads at the top of the page are just brutal, especially the one with the erect penis cross-section.

They’re especially bad on mobile, where the combination of those ads and long comment threads just kills my browser. (Stock browser on Galaxy S4).

And don’t get me started on the one that showed up yesterday on the sidebar about how many Hollywood stars are secretly transgender. Not just tacky but actively offensive, that one was.

Just caught a little bit of an anti-Trump commercial a few minutes ago watching Hockey on Fox Sports Ohio.

It had film clips of Trump talking tough about getting jobs back interspersed with video from him on Letterman/Late Night when Dave was pressing him about where the shirts are made and looks at one and says “oh, Bangladesh.” Then Dave looks at the ties and wonders where they were from where looks at Trump and then Dave says “oh. they are made in China.”

Then there is some type-overs about Jobs and China, but I wasn’t watching closely. Looks like the PACs against Trump are getting busy. I expect to see more and more of them here in Ohio the next couple days. It’s war.

Kasich is running a similar job theme ad..but he takes Trumps digs at Kasich and calls him a liar while it laughs and then points out the truth about Kasich bring in his claimed 400,000 jobs.

(I wonder about ALL the job claims myself…)

There is a graphic going around of Bernie Sanders responding to Donald Trump’s threat to send his supporters to Bernie rallies, but it does not seem that Bernie actually responded, it was this Bernie supporter:

Trump must have some pretty good pictures of all the heads of the big 6 media company heads. They seem to do his bidding no matter how much they are selling their souls for the viewers he brings in the whole process.

At this point, I can only assume that the grudges they’ve been nursing since the days of “The Great Penis Hunt” are gelling with the need to maintain the horse race narrative to create this idea that as awful as Trump may be, Clinton is the same or worse and people are left choosing between two really bad candidates.
