Survey Says: Women Despise Donald Trump in Unprecedented Numbers

Because he’s a misogynistic cretin
Politics • Views: 53,173

NBC Video

Donald Trump has a bit of a popularity problem with female voters. OK, more than a bit. A yooooge honking unprecedented popularity problem.

Women despise him. Well, lots of people despise him, yours truly included, but women especially.

And the reason is not a mystery.

There’s simply no way he can win in an general election. His negatives with key demographics are overwhelming.

There’s always this 20-30% of folks I just don’t get.

So I have to assume this is 20% of the (usually) 27% of GOP No Matter What! people.

Remember to reserve a few percent of the 27% for our side. The makeup is variable, only the magic number stays the same.

I wasn’t watching MTP closely the whole program, but I think I heard Chuck Todd say something about the new angry white male voters Trump is attracting and getting out to vote for the first time could take up some of the votes Trump would lose to women.

Anyone catch that comment?

Milo has retweeted prisonplanet:

In the original source there is a question sign in the headline, there is no absolute claim that the rape had occurred or that the men are guilty of it, the chief prosecutor is quoted as saying that so far there has been no “urgent suspicion” [of a person having committed a crime]. (It’s legal jargon meaning that the third, highest level of “suspicion” against any person has not been reached.) No pending trial is mentioned in the Bild article. Another source quotes the chief prosecutor as saying that they could not verify the claim.

In rwnj sources an allegation under investigation becomes a fact (but only as long as the alleged perps are non-white migrants).

Your use of this website implies your agreement to these terms, which you remain legally bound to, even if I or any of my sychophants change them without notice, or the website hosting them gets sold to any 3rd, 4th, etc parties, or is otherwise lost from my control, or disappears from the internet.

It’s ironic that the crime claims the rwnjs propagate are either fake (the Berlin incident), have not been established to be credible at the moment (this case) or are wildly out of context (the Swedish case I posted about).

While I was playing cards yesterday, for some strange reason they had a couple TV’s set to news channels instead of sports. While I was waiting for my seat, I caught a bit of one of the cable news shows talking about Trump in the general election. Supposedly there are polls showing Trump losing college educated white voters to both Hillary and Sanders. Playing around with 538’s election toy, if turnout stayed the same and college educated whites broke just 51-49 for the Dems, that moves North Carolina and Georgia into the blue. It also puts a few other states in play. Assuming turnout for Latinos stays the same and the Dem nominee picks up 5%, that swings Arizona as well.

So basically, my question is: do we actually have polls showing Trump losing college educated white voters? Because that has to have the GOP establishment types shitting themselves.

I keep coming back to the conspiracy theory that Trump is intentionally helping Hillary.

Q. What’s the solution to a candidate having the biggest “likeability” problem in the last two generations (This is Hillary, whether people admit it or not)?

A. Run them against somebody so loathsome and vile that your candidate comes across as a saint by comparison.

Trump is a Perfect Storm of idiocy, we know this. But what if he turns out to be a perfect con? What if Hillary wins and the next day Trump says “Hey folks, it was all a joke. Thanks for playing, suckers!”

Would I weep for what’s become of our Democratic process? Or would I laugh my ass off? Probably both, but in which order, I can’t say.

(BTW The actual album is excellent- the best way I can think of describing it is that it sounds like ABBA if they were an English prog-folk group. The lead single “Northern Lights” totally sounds like ABBA giving it an English medieval folk twist to their usual pop songs.)

RealClear Politics - New York Democratic Presidential Primary

NY has more people per county than voted in all three states Bernie won total. Hillary’s up 34 points? That’ll not only stop Bernie’s “momentum” but it puts a cherry on top of her closing in on the nomination.

NY has 291 delegates (compared to the 129 delegates in the past 6 states Bernie won).

So, if Hillary is up 65-35 (30 points), that gives her…. 189 delegates out of the 291. Which vastly surpasses the 98 Bernie claimed in the past six states.

Doing the math? Yeah, Bernie’s momentum stops dead in its tracks.

Not sure if he could actually win the Presidency but I’m glad that he’s running as he has pulled Clinton to the left on many important issues. However, this is not about him or even about Clinton. He needs to do the right thing and endorse Clinton since she needs to beat Trump.

I would expect Bernie and Hillary, both, to say something like…I expect to be the nominee but of course I will support the Democratic candidate. That is fucking easy. WTF?

About Trump’s negative numbers with women, from an objective point of view I will be fascinated watching how that level ebbs and flows as the campaign season moves along.

From a subjective point of view, I hope it grows much more negative for him.

I’ve been visiting my family in Washington state for the last two weeks, my first time back in the United States in two full years. Among the people I’ve chatted with, they’ve all said they’d be happy with either Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Sanders, and to a person they’ve been appalled by everyone on the Republican side. Based on this unscientific observation, I’m ready to declare that the Evergreen State will stay blue.

Prior to the caucuses here yesterday, I was interested to see that Sanders had advertised a lot on radio and some on TV, but I don’t think I saw a single ad by Clinton. They both came here in person, and Chelsea Clinton also headlined an event.

There is a chance, with Trump as the GOP nominee, that the Democrats can both retain the White House, regain the Senate and possibly the House as well. That would give them two years to make some progress on key issues like immigration reform, the minimum wage, and investment in infrastructure and education before the GOP regains control of Congress in the midterms. But in order to do that, the Democrats must abolish the filibuster. I don’t want to hear any more crap about how the Democrats need the filibuster to stop the GOP when they regain control of the Senate. If the only reason to be a Senator is to make sure that nothing happens then they ought to abolish the damn institution. The President can veto anything that a GOP Congress passes, and if the voters decide to elect a Republican President then they ought to have the opportunity to govern as well.

My three sisters live in Spokane (where we grew up) and are in their 50’s. All three of them are voting Hillary, without hesitation. Years ago my youngest sis ‘carefully’ asked my political orientation (we don’t talk much about politics) and was happy to hear that we were on the same page. She’s an Obama supporter and wanted to know if I had voted for him (I did, twice), which made her (and my other sisters) very happy.

Spokane is about as red as it gets in WA so it’s good to know that there are a few sane people left there. :)

What an amazing image! It reminds me of the cover of Renaissance’s 1978 album “A Song for all Seasons”:

(BTW The actual album is excellent- the best way I can think of describing it is that it sounds like ABBA if they were an English prog-folk group. The lead single “Northern Lights” totally sounds like ABBA giving it an English medieval folk twist to their usual pop songs.)

Opening Out is one of my favorite songs of all time.
