Chuck Johnson’s New Obsession: Michelle Fields

In new vendetta, he attacks Fields, her mother, her boyfriend, her friends
Wingnuts • Views: 59,035

After more than a year of tracking the behavior of Rage Furby Chuck C. Johnson, he still manages to astound me by reaching even further down into the depths of sliminess.

In his attempts to discredit reporter Michelle Fields, Johnson has called upon his not-so-hidden talent of attacking not just his subject, but everyone associated with that person. It’s his modus operandi. Plus, in keeping with his own traditions, he’s threatened to sue Fields for some past dispute that lay fallow only to be brought up again in his newly found ire.

He who must not be named

Now designated by Rachel Maddow as “the World’s Creepiest Blogger in Exile,” Chuck C. Johnson has decided to live up to his new nickname by putting Michelle Fields in his crosshairs.

Fields, of course, is the former Breitbart reporter who accused Corey Lewandowski, campaign manager for Donald Trump (R-Blowhard), of grabbing her hard enough to leave bruises on her forearm. Fields was attempting to ask the Mighty Donald a question when Lewandowski cut her off by pulling her away.

Fields followed up by filing charges against the Trump aide, who reported to the Jupiter, FL, police department for arraignment a couple of days ago.

Both Fields’ accusations and Lewandowski’s arrest have created a veritable shitstorm of invective on the Internet, and Fields has been a particular target of Trump partisans, in particular “Dim” Jim Hoft (the Gateway Pundit, aka Stupidest Man on the Internet) and Chuck C. Johnson of GotNewsDotCom (which is not us!).

Yesterday, Johnson published two posts on his blog, targeting Fields and for no logical reason, her mother.

Yes, her mother. Don’t you know, every Award Winning Journalist™ goes after a subject’s mother in the pursuit of a story. As soon as we can find another example, we’ll let you know.

MORE at GotNwes.com: ANALYSIS: ‘creepy blogger’ Chuck Johnson *really* doesn’t like Michelle Fields, or her mother, or unbiased reporting

Since Fields first accused Trump operative Lewandowski of manhandling her, Johnson has published no less than six posts attacking her on his parody of a news blog, GotNewsDotCom. He says she is a fraud, a drama queen, an “attention seeker.” He says she accused him of a federal crime, for which he is considering suing her.

In yet another post, Johnson repeats his earlier complaints that Fields “accuse[d] me of a federal crime” and again calls her a liar. He’s also threatened to sue her over this incident, but given his track record in courts of law, Fields has really nothing to worry about.

As best as we can understand it, Fields sent him an add request on LinkedIn. Rather than take the logical step of clicking “CONFIRM” on the webpage, Johnson called her directly. It seems Fields did not know Johnson had her number, and given his habit of doxxing people and publishing their personal information on his blog, she freaked out. Then, she tweeted that Johnson had “hacked” her computer and obtained her personal information. Johnson then responded in his usual calm, mature manner, by demanding she retract the statement and when she refused, he contacted her bosses to have them demand she retract the accusation. Eventually, she did.

I can’t recall a single one of that vile man’s obsessions that were even remotely near the definition of “healthy”…

It’s too bad he’s not obsessed with personal grooming, but I digress.

I read somewhere this morning that Ms. Fields had her address “accidentally” published and had to leave her home. It’s been a full day around here (I’m restoring teak furniture and trying to get a garden space cleaned and cleared, and sew outdoor cushions for the furniture, in addition to the normal routine around here) and I can’t remember where I saw it. If this is correct, how long is it going to be before someone tries to do something even worse to her. I hope she’s safe.

These people are completely unhinged and capable of anything. It’s truly frightening.

“What do you want?”
“Free tuition, higher taxes on the rich.”
“So, you don’t want health care available to as many as possible, minorities to be able to vote, gays to be able to marry, women to have access to abortion?”
“Yes, I do. That’s not what I said.”
“If you’re not voting for a Democrat, that’s exactly what you said.”

It’s just so fucking childish. Hillary might turn out to be a more progressive President than Bernie by simple virtue of having a better Congress and better skills negotiating Congress. I get why the liberal wing wants someone new, I really do but at the same time, Bernie’s had his chance to prove to people that he’s presidential material and I really don’t think he is.

Just getting back to the threads.

If your comment about old fuckers pissing and moaning about younger generations was aimed at my comment in the last thread you are taking me the wrong way. I was/am more concerned about our education system being less inclined to teach citizenship.

I think it is obvious that a good many of the Bernie backers are younger people. Is that not a fact and a wrong impression on my part? I see his rallies and he does draw a ton of younger people.

And keep in mind…I know Bernie’s age. He is a lot older than me. He could educate them on some of their thinking but would it work for Bernie to say “There is only so much I can do, our system only works when the President has the backing of the congress.” I don’t think that sells Bernie and he knows it.

Bernie sells revolution and he is the leader. It is wrong, but it is what he chose. That does nothing for his younger backers except lead to more disappointment in government and that concerns me.

Why does it appear that many of them are saying the same thing about Clinton, Obama and this election and thinking that electing a president will be a fix all? To me that is not about the person or their age, but more about being ill-informed and not using common sense. That is why I said stupid. That is the definition of the word.

As pointed out, there is also Susan Sarandon, Michael Moore and others that are from being young. I have a different take on them. They flat out should know better. They are in denial. I wouldn’t hang that on younger people. I really do believe our education system had done a disservice to our youth. Am I wrong about that?

All I wish for is that all generations get real. I know people of all ages that have holes in their common sense. Two brothers of mine that are older than me for instance.

What is the fix for lacking common sense and not using your intelligence? Education. A review if needed.

Any generation can fix that by learning…especially the fact that the information to be informed is all over the internet. Yet, they still say stupid stuff. That is not generational…it is a fact. In my comment I aimed it at Bernie’s younger followers because they are his largest numbers.

So, if my comment came off as being aimed only at younger people, I apologize…it was never my intent.

Another government conspiracy, y’all!

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Eyewitnesses from the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge occupation said pictures released by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are staged.

The USFWS released more than 2 dozen photos showing piles of garbage, property damage and what appears to be human waste on the floor. The total damage is estimated around $6 million.

But Guy Finicum, the brother of LaVoy Finicum, and former occupier Sharla Christie said the pictures were embellished and the cost inflated.

“They were very serious about taking good care of that property,” Christie said at a news conference in Arizona. “Every thing was clean. I didn’t see any damage whatsoever.”

Her big crimes to CCJ are

1) She had a real job as a journalist (even though it was at a RW shithole).

2) She got face time on Fox Nooz

3) She still has a Twitter account.

Didn’t Rage Furby also claim that she was never a Fox News contributor? And that was part of his “she’s a fraud” bullshit.

Of course, easily checked when one is an AWARD-WINNING JOURNALIST.

Mrs. FBW got the Greyhounds brand new ‘Orthopedic’ beds. BIG, with berms on 3 sides and a nice cushy pad. Then she fretted over whether they liked them, because each of them was spending some time lying on the floor, instead of their fancy new beds - just like they always do!

If they understood English - and were inclined to obey - I’d tell them to go lie in their fancy new beds to make their Mom happy.

There’s literally nothing to respect about Trump’s fans. Nothing. To a person they’re the most shallow, empathically bereft and intellectually incurious gaggle of mean spirited ass gremlins I’ve ever encountered. But yeah, fucking congratulations lady on finally being able to see the bullshit once it piled up past eye level.

Arguably, it was already piled that high from the moment he declared his run for the White House, and was already hobnobbing on twitter with white supremacists and racists and insulting women (starting most infamously with Megyn Kelly). But hey, it only took you the better part of a year to realize that Trump is a shit show.

The problem for you (as a GOPer) is that all your alternatives are just as bad (as if you cared, but I digress). Shallow. Vindictive. And pushing the same kinds of Islamophobic, misogynistic, and bigoted positions that Trump is.

Cruz’s biggest success is to shut down government costing the national economy billions because he doesn’t think Americans should have access to health insurance via a program whose genesis was from the right wing Heritage Foundation (aka the individual mandate of personal responsibility).

Kasich has been under the radar, but far more insidious - never letting an anti-abortion bill pass his desk without signing it into law. He’s far more effective than anyone else remaining in the race - and that makes him arguably more dangerous.

The issue these folks have is style, not substance.

Dammit. What the hell is going on in this world business wise. I saw a listing to do a contract photography job. I was contacted by the company (West Coast) last evening. They wanted me to take some test images in the format they wanted and they said I had until April 1st to qualify.

They are outdoor images. It was raining and nasty until around 1:00 pm today (Eastern time). But it cleared and I hustled out to do the tests. I just contacted them to ask how they wanted me to send the images to them…ftp, direct email, etc.

I just got an email saying they already chose their candidate.

WTF?

Damn this just keeps happening. I am growing more an more disillusioned with all this. Trying to find decent work as a freelancer is not working. Finding a full time job hasn’t worked either.

MoveOn (created to defend a different Clinton) is the most established of the Bernie boosters. They are also raising funds/building lists for something new—“Sanders Democrats”. The three they solicited for today are Lucy Flores, Zephyr Teachout, and Pramila Jayapal. All are new or very local candidates.

re: #114 Blind Frog Belly White

So, is it really the Will O’ The People if he can’t win the nomination outright? Or worse, if he comes in second in both pledged delegates AND popular vote?

You don’t seem to understand—according to Berners:

If Bernie wins a state, he should get all pledged AND super delegates (doesn’t matter how many times you explain that supers aren’t apportioned by state)

If Bernie loses a state in a close contest, it’s actually a tie, and he should get the delegates because he really improved his numbers from when he started, and if only people had had more time to get to know him, he would have won.

If he loses a state by a bunch, it is either reflective of voter suppression, voter fraud, low-information voters, voters voting against their best interests, voters who just didn’t know Bernie, he didn’t really try to win it, and/or unimportant states that really shouldn’t count because they didn’t feel the Bern.

Thus, it only stands to reason that, although he’s behind in votes, pledged delegates, and super delegates, IT’S ONLY FAIR THAT THE DEMS SELECT BERNIE AS THE CANDIDATE because reasons.

Now do you understand????

BTW what ever happened to those court cases that L’il Ginger Snapped was involved with??????

His libel/defamation suit against Gawker was tossed out of court. He lucked out in the National Abortion Federation suit, because the judge decided going after Johnson’s source was extraneous to the suit. His filing in state court of the same written complaint against Gawker in federal court awaits a review hearing later this month.

Plus, he has an imaginary lawsuit against Twitter perpetually pending.

Yes, she lost her cool. But imagine some idiots following Bernie, constantly asking why he is in the pocket of the NRA. The same reaction would have been hailed as righteous indignation.

The people of Greenpeace have vastly overstated any money she has received from oil and gas, and the Bernie campaign and others have spread misinformation.

This info is a bit outdated and there is more now, but not nearly what GP states.

Have we reached the point where CCJ’s influence among other RWNJs is small enough that he can be ignored as being irrelevant (he asks, hopefully)?

Thing is…I’m not sure it’s as simple as a scalar degree of influence. The wingnut world reaches for material, and sources, opportunistically and with very little regard for veracity, or even quality. They’ll talk smack about Chuck, but at the same time use his materials as the basis for speculation, as a “source” confirming a notion, et cetera.

As with other bigots and assholes, he’ll simply be held at sufficient distance that there’s some deniability. If he doesn’t get credit, or respect, or attention, it’s not because of his positions, it’s because he’s absolutely shit at the kinds of bluffs and counterfeits that drive the wingnut new cycle. Other people make better Fiji Mermaids.

I can see the Judge in the California Gawker suit officially labeling it a frivolous action before tossing it out. Not only because his filing was verbatim plagiarized copypasta containing tons of irrelevant details intrinsic to the Missouri case, but because he included an affidavit saying he’d never filed a libel suit previously. Also, he never even tried to serve notice on the defendants. Letting it go to a case management hearing without filing to dismiss the case himself is just wasting the court’s time and resources.

Way OT: my son was invited to a local Boy Scout meeting tonight by a friend. I asked if he was interested when I picked him up. He seemed completely weirded out (and he’s a pretty nerdy kid). Part of it, he said, was that they meet in the American Legion Hall and it smells of decades of smoke. The other part he couldn’t or wouldn’t say. (I was there for the last 15 minutes or so, and it looked a bit rag tag, but not disreputable.)

I haven’t been involved in scouting for 35 years, but I was into it: Eagle/Order of the Arrow. Anyway, I’m not going to try to talk him into it.

It’s all (and only) about them and their purity of conscience. Insisting that they’ll throw the country to the wolves (every four years, like clockwork) gives them a sense of power, not unlike that felt by Trumpeteers who realize full well that The Donald’s insane, but also that he pisses people off and they can’t do a damn thing about it. And that’s more important to them.

Meanwhile, on Maddow the other night Uncle Grump said “we’ll see” if he’ll fundraise for down-ticket Dems. …Obtuse, infirm, or shooting his own campaign in the back of the head because he didn’t really want to win?

They keep telling everyone that they’re better than everyone else. What little do the rubes know except that it’s all built on one crumbling lie after another, and once one part of it falls away, the rest of the facade drops away too.

So much vile hate, bigotry, and anger, and it’s a toxic environment to anyone.
