Amour, t’es là?

Bouquets des roses
Chansons qui parlent que d’une chose
Amour, amour
Tremblement de terre
Collier qui porte mon bonheur
Amour, toujours
Amour, t’es là?
Amour, je cherche ton schéma
Amour, c’est toi?
Amour, pourquoi tu te caches de moi

Rêve des bisous
Deux mots, qui caressent le cou
Amour, amour
Monde à l’envers
Qui va porter mon bonheur
Amour, toujours
Amour, t’es là?
Amour, je cherche ton schéma
Amour, c’est toi?
Amour, je sais pas vraiment
Amour, pourquoi?
Amour, pourquoi tu te caches de moi?

Chaque matin je me lève, je me lève très tôt
Pour aller au boulot
Ce matin j’ai l’impression
Quelqu’un va repondre à ma question
Amour, t’es là?
Amour, je cherche ton schéma
Amour, c’est toi?
Amour, je sais pas vraiment
Amour, t’es fou
Amour, je te cherche, t’es où?
Amour, pourquoi, amour
Pourquoi, tu te caches de moi?

I’ve spent the weekend at Viva Las Vegas. And managed to pay no attention to politics. Instead, I got to see Dick Dale and Brian Setzer. There was also this, today:

Wait for it, on the left #vlv19 #vlv #dancelikenooneiswatching #oldmancanyon

Quick break and then back for the last few acts today

The drone fever is spreading across the wild north country. First, my pastor and I started sharing drone-flying time at our church every weekend. Now, for his 75th birthday, I bought a nano-drone for my father-in-law to fly around the house. He was thrilled and started practicing as soon as he could get it unboxed. I feel sorry for their cat.

This new opprobrium styling has everything wrapped in a tight, Twitter-ready economical package; it’s got Hitler, it’s got Hillary, it’s even got drones!

I can’t help but notice how much nicer pro-Hill folks are than pro-Bernie folks are.

I’ll vote for Bernie in a blink, but the difference is interesting and pushes me further to the Hill Side.

Because every article about the 2016 Democratic primaries should have a Silent Hill reference

I already did my bit, and I’d confuse the hell out of most Sandbaggers; I’m the right color and sex to be One of Them, and not too overage, but I’m from that evil part of the country. (We gave Bernie a more than 3-to-1 beating six weeks ago.)

It’s almost like the people that are on a first-name basis with Bernie and work with him every day think that he’s sort of a crackpot and totally unfit to be president.

BUT WHAT COULD THEY KNOW, I HAVE THE POWER OF THE INTERNET

This new autosave feature I’m working on for LGF Pages is turning out to be really nice.

Every post you start writing is now automatically saved to the database every two seconds. Autosaved posts last for two days, then they’re automatically deleted. An autosaved post is also deleted when you actually publish it.

There’s a button that lets you call up a list of all your autosaved posts, and choose to restore one, delete them all, or delete one at a time. This is actually really handy, and can also be used as a sort of quick “save as draft” feature, since you can always restore any post you’ve been working on, as long as it hasn’t been two days or more since you last worked on it.

This makes it almost impossible to accidentally lose a post, even if your power goes out or your computer crashes.

Almost ready to release this for LGF Pages - it’s working now in our front page article posting script. Just need to test a bit more and work through all the edge cases.

In the back of my t-shirt drawer I have a well-worn shirt from the 1980’s with a silk screened drawing of GHW Bush with the caption “ENOUGH OF THIS BUSHLIT!” Walking the streets, I met the coolest people whilst wearing that tee.

Mad code skills!

I have a question. Can a quote someone made of your comment ever be updated if the original comment is later edited like for a missing word added or a typo?

It would be cool if an edit was auto updated through all the quotes that captured your comment before it was edited.

May be impossible, but something I’ve always wondered about. Who knows, it might break the database or something.

Edit: I’ve been thinking about editing for twitter, which is why I thought of this. If twitter allowed edits, you should still be able to see the original tweet.

Somebody needs to develop an app that will allow edits on Twitter by deleting the old tweet & sending the new one.

I agree. And bonus points to the director(s) who made what looks like a simple (read: low-cost) video that’s artistic, and also sexy without being exploitative.

Brazilian music wears me out pretty quickly but that was a delight.

But on the other hand, what if the reply to the quoted comment ends up making no sense if the original is updated? Unless it’s just a simple typo, auto-updating all the quotes of an edited comment could really make a hash of a discussion thread.

I’ve considered this idea before, but for those reasons (and others) I think it’s better not to auto-update quoted comments.

Ben began drawing cartoons in 2009 to protest the central banker bailout, bloated government and the slide toward tyranny. Ben’s cartoons have been seen by millions of people around the word. So Lewandowski has now returned to his claim that he never even touched Michelle Fields. And why shouldn’t he? He feels like he’s untouchable himself now. He got away with it clean. He probably thinks Fields won’t bring a civil suit against him, and he’s probably right.

This guy is a horrible, horrible human being. But to be honest, Michelle Fields is a pretty awful right wing operative too. I’m only on her side in this because she obviously was abused and Lewandowski shouldn’t be allowed to get away with things like this — but he will.

I can only hope Fields takes this as a learning experience, after the incredible deluge of right wing hatred she’s faced for trying to stand up to a powerful right wing man. But I kinda doubt she will.

‘Zalright, I understand. Walter was a very good VP and really redefined the Vice President’s role, but everything that could go wrong did for him and the Democrats in 1984. He wound up illustrating the need for centrist Democrats to carry the party’s standards, something that today’s Dems have forgotten.

I see he didn’t even bother to draw the caricature of the Jewish guy himself as I’ve seen that one all over the place before. Even if he hadn’t pasted it in, you can see that it was done by the hand of a different illustrator (i.e. different style).
