RetweetWho Let da Dogs Out? Who?

Thu, Oct 31, 2002 at 11:06:04 am PST

Since the militant Islamozoids hate dogs and Halloween, here’s a photo guaranteed to get me a fatwa. (This one is reader NRevy’s fault.)

3 billhedrick  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:09:47am

more cute animals please!

4 Robert Crawford  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:18:06am

Damn! That's enough to make you hand out dogbones.

Or get a dog. I miss having a dog. Fish just aren't the same.

5 Craig  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:18:59am

Thanks for the needed relief!
Some more good news- Three splodydopes killed themselves while attempting to build another terror bomb in a pali camp. May they continue to bring such justice onto themselves!

6 ken  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:19:05am

It is wrong to denigrate these Muslim women. They are forced to dress like this, it is not out of choice.
Presumably, as they are dressed in white rather than black, there are another 67 waiting somewhere else in heaven.

7 superfly  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:22:48am

be careful or else you may get a fatwa from PETA as well.

Ve-e-ery Sca-a-ry!

Do you suppose the Islamofascizoidopaleoarabians don't like HallooOOween because all their VICTIMS come back and haunt them?

10 Dee Bates  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:40:40am

To Charles and ken:
Thanks heaps for the grins. They are sorely needed.

ken, you're a sketch!

11 tom  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:42:43am

i think your racist against dogs dressed up as ghosts, holding pumkin trick or treat baskets.

12 kid  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:47:13am

look out for PETA

13 NC  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:54:43am

MSNBC just published its latest "Best of Blogs." Charles is accused of hate-mongering for publishing pictures of dogs dressed as Klansmen.

14 Wayne  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:57:15am

What? No cats? You're a speciesist bigot

W.

15 Robert Crawford  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:58:50am

Wayne -- what do you think's in the baskets? Cats, of course.

16 The Sanity Inspector  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:59:02am

And here I just now posted NZ Pundit's barfing pumpkin picture in the Michelle Malkin thread!

17 Michael Morley  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 10:25:46am

Cry, "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of . . . of . . . ah . . . Halloween???

#6 Ken says:

"It is wrong to denigrate these Muslim women. They are forced to dress like this, it is not out of choice."

Ken, please try and think before you post. Your comments are extremely hurtful and insulting to the beautiful dogs. ;-)

Very funny BTW, thanks!

19 hedgehog  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 10:38:53am

I have saved the picture to show my students. Thank you for the Hallowe'en gift.
Imagine getting all those dogs together and quiet long enough to get the photo!

20 colt  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 10:52:49am

I don't like dogs or Hallowe'en... I... I feel... different... My passport... it's turning... changing... Not British... but... Saudi Arabian! Must... must kill... must kill Americans! RAAARGH!!!

21 RJM  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 11:19:33am

best laugh I've had in two days.
fantastic

22 Joel  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 11:46:23am

Considering how ugly the Islamazoid women appear to be after the Burqas were removed, I think that the dogs are an improvement.

BTW I love the idea of the Russians wrapping pig skins around the bodies of the Allah Akbar people so they won't get their 72 virigns (or is it one 72 year old virgin). I wish that Israel would follow suit.

23 RJM  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 11:47:36am

Charles: Hope you don't mind me downloading this picture for my kids to see. It is great.

24 zb  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 12:34:55pm

are the dogs dressed up like the klan or Hamas or have they merged.

#22, the reason the fundamentalists have their women wear a burqa is becasue they are not allowed to drrink alchol. Think of them as kinds of Middle Eastern beer googles

25 Samwise  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 12:43:19pm

Wait... wait a minute... the islamazoids don't like *dogs*?!?

To not love animals that are so loyal and loving, with big brown eyes and cute little noses... now that's soulless.

26 PDM  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 1:04:13pm

Hilarious! I'll put it on my front door tonight.

Hey! They look a lot like the dogs of war trained at An-Najah University.

27 Geepers  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 1:38:19pm

PDM (#26) Another gut buster. Thanks.

28 nomad33  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 1:51:28pm

RE #25 - Samwise:

It's a culture issue, dogs were'nt popular in the old days in the ME region.

Islamists want to turn back the clock to a thousand years ago, and wish to forbid having dogs, being "filthy animals".
They're not getting their way though, in Iran it was punishable to have a dog until very recently, when it was officialy allowed [probably commonly practiced much before] as long as they are small.

29 scott down south  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 2:10:05pm

Damned dogs always wanting something for nothing...

30 doug in AZ  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 2:33:03pm

This pic is GREAT and MUCH needed! After reading all of the Islamofascist news and their links last night, and then the history of Mohammed and the Quran, I was unbelievably depressed this morning. The clash of civs is here and growing. I'm starting to think that the Star Trek joke is going to end up being true. "Why aren't there any Arabs in Star Trek? Cause it's in the future...duh!"

31 moose  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 2:48:53pm

The Ku Klux Kanines planning another rampage!

32 Donna V.  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 2:48:55pm

I love that picture! Thanks Charles! BTW, the kid who got my award for Best Costume this year was a 8 or 9 year old girl with long brown hair who was dressed like Dorothy, complete with ruby slippers and Toto (her gray Cairn terrier Coco). I gave that girl an extra chocolate bar.

33 jeanne a e devoto  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 3:02:14pm

To Charles: Thanks for the chuckle.

To the people who decided this would be a fun time to post ugly and childish taunts about the "looks" of Muslim women: Thanks for making me wish I hadn't clicked the Comments link for this topic.

34 Ranbutan  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 3:48:01pm

Great picture. Hope it makes it to the "Peaceful Lands of Islam" via the Net.

I noticed that the dogs are the worst sort - short-legged ones, that according to an Iranian cleric, are especially loathsome.

Did anyone consider the notion that many radical Islamists might not be offended by dogs in Burquas?

Seeing as to them there is little difference in the status of a female or a dog?

35 Evan  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 4:04:06pm

Now that's genius.

36 Freebourne  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 4:32:12pm

What a great Photo! How did you get the doggies to pose?

My dog does a great job every year of announcing the trick-or-treaters. The kids just love him. The little ones are more fascinated by our majestic dog than the candy.

Never trust anyone who does not like animals!

Don't you remember that video captured in Afghanistan, that showed al-Qaeda testing sarin gas on puppies?

38 Kirk  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 5:57:13pm

Remember the first Terminator movie? There might be a reason why mohammed had a thing in for dogs. Could be dogs found something 'wrong' with him and went off whenever he was around.

39 KIRIL  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 7:28:12pm

My 2 cats say that that's just like a dog to think that it needs to dress up to scare humans.

They say it just proves what all cats know about the species:

Just a bunch of wimps...

Of course my cats don't want me to let on that they have never set foot outside the house in their entire lives, and would probably run at the mere sight of a pure bred Chihuahua. :-)

40 zulubaby  Thu, Oct 31, 2002 9:21:26pm

PDM (#26)

Hilarious!

The essence of Christianity is told us in the Garden of Eden history. The fruit that was forbidden was on the tree of knowledge. The subtext is, All the suffering you have is because you wanted to find out what was going on. You could be in the Garden of Eden if you had just kept your mouth shut and hadn't asked any questions. -- Playboy Interview, April 1993
