Trump Now Includes Muslim Judges in His Racist “Biased” List

The ever-expanding hit list of Donald Trump, GOP nominee for president
Politics • Views: 44,383

After facing a great amount of criticism for his racist attacks on the judge in the Trump University lawsuit, Gonzalo Curiel, today Donald Trump went on Face the Nation and didn’t just repeat his racist slurs against Judge Curiel — he now says Muslim judges would also be biased against him.

In the full video of this section of Trump’s interview, he says it’s “common sense” to judge people based on their race and ethnicity, and says, “We have to stop being so politically correct in this country.”

Obviously, with Trump’s statements slamming African Americans, he’d probably also include black judges as people who wouldn’t be “fair” to him. And he’d probably have to include women, Asians, Democrats and liberals in that group, too.

So in Trump World, the only judges who could possibly be “fair” in a case involving him are… white men.

That leaves us with the only “unbiased” judges who could possibly preside over a case involving Donald Trump: far right white men who post comments at Breitbart “News.”

We’re talking about a man who wants to revise libel laws to criminalize criticism of him. Trump is a textbook fascist. It’s sad to see a party that gave the country Dwight Eisenhower embrace a fascist like Trump but tehy have decided to and need to be held accountable for it.

It’s common sense when you say nasty shit about ethnic or religious groups they would be biased against you. And they should be held accountable for that.

And, like I said in the last thread, they really ought to feature (in some SFW manner) some of the outright Nazi garbage and “alt-right” bigotry Trump’s “supporters” love to spew. If nothing else, to make them deny/disavow it - i.e. Lyndon Johnson’s “pigf*ck*ng” strategy - only in this case, the pigs really ARE being abused…..

Too bad Tammy Duckworth is not a judge (but I don’t think she is a Muslim, and I am not sure about whether she speaks Spanish). Oh well, I guess she will have to go on to slay Mark Kirk in the Senate race.

Alex Jones: Trump University Judge Is “The Equivalent Of A Hispanic Grand Dragon”

ALEX JONES: Now, I don’t like the Ku Klux Klan, but MEChA [Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlán] and [the National Council of] La Raza and organizations like this … these guys basically operate just like the Klan. They say for those inside our race, everything. For those outside the race, nothing. La Raza means “the race,” so I see Trump say this about this judge, and I think well you’re just saying because he’s Mexican in his heritage that he ruled against you. Has Trump gone too far? And I go look it up, and the guy is worse than what Trump’s saying. And that’s the problem, Trump will just throw something out that’s true, but then I guess with the soundbites not get into the whole background of it. So, we’re going to talk about this judge a little bit right now, but I’ll tell you it’s a fair headline to say that this judge is the equivalent of a Hispanic grand dragon.

Busy day in world politics… the Swiss just held a bunch of referenda, the most closely watched one being one to establish a Universal Basic Income. That one went down hard, 23-77. It did relatively well in the more liberal cities (36% in Jura, 36% in Basel, 35% in Geneva), but finished in the teens in most cantons.

This is why America should vote for him.

Who ever in the course of human history has wanted to do everything bigly and greatly like TRUMP®? No one. This is why he is great. This is why he can make America Great again. No one but TRUMP®. Not Hillary. She has bad judgement. The worst. She learned it from Bill. They can’t make judgments…no one can judge like TRUMP®.

It’d be great. He makes the best judgments. Great judgments, Fair. A good judge. This he can tell you.

Hey, he should run for Judge! Add it to governor of New Mexico and President.

I would bet the (below) average Trump supporter has no idea Central and South America had native peoples versus conquerors from Europe. I think they think “they” have all been there all along. “They” are all “savages” just like North America’s native peoples were considered by the French and British (and others).

I don’t think they are even capable of understanding they speak Spanish (and Portuguese) because of Spain (and Portugal).

Uh, continual constant drumbeats of “they’re out to KILL US ALL!!!one11!!uno!!!eleventy111!!!” for years and year might have something to do with that, including the “sense and decency” of RedState.

Josh Marshall, TPM: Sparks of the Meltdown

But after two rallies and a flurry of interviews there’s no question Clinton has gotten to Trump in a big way. As she said, he is very thin skinned. (Emphatically denying that you’re thin-skinned is not a credible rebuttal.) Given who he is, being denigrated by a strong woman must cut deeply. Underneath the angry talk, he appears befuddled and uncertain about just how to respond. That is mainly because even before her assault he’d maxed out his invective. She was crooked, a liar, untalented, a lightweight, a sexual predator by proxy. How exactly do you escalate from there?

As Clinton and her team certainly anticipated, hitting him hard as mentally unstable and unfit for the presidency has placed Trump in a sort of Chinese finger puzzle of his own creation. The only mode of response he knows - an escalating and bellicose round of personal attacks with increasingly hyperbolic accusations - only confirms Clinton’s diagnosis. The harder he fights the tighter the charge sticks.

The final important backdrop are the most recent polls. Polls in the early summer can be erratic and are easy to over-interpret. But people do over-interpret them. Trump is uniquely dependent on impressive poll numbers because his entire campaign message is a disquisition on his own strength and dominance. When your whole message is about winning but you’re losing, you start to seem ridiculous. What now seems like an ephemeral surge in Trump’s numbers after clinching the Republican nomination greased the skids for numerous Republican elected officials to endorse Trump’s candidacy and pledge their support. They’re now locked in for a ride with an emotionally unstable man whose personal insecurities and instinctive racism now seem only to be accelerating.

More than that, he is doing so much damage to his vaunted “brand” that I can now envisage personal bankruptcy as being the end result of this campaign — which was started, of course, to boost his brand.

OT: Curious bear cub tries to stow away on Lake Superior freighter

TWO HARBORS, Minn. — A bear cub decided to hitch a ride on a ship in Lake Superior for awhile Friday.

Keith Baker was walking back to his room on the Cason J. Callaway after eating lunch when the watchman told him to look over the side of the freighter, docked in Two Harbors to load iron ore pellets. That’s when he spotted the bear cub attempting to climb up the Callaway’s draft board, which was hanging in the water on the side of the ship, said Baker of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.

The watchman told Baker that the cub swam over to the Callaway from a vacant ore dock.

“He grabbed on and wasn’t letting go,” Baker said.

“He’s got that ‘I ain’t going back in that cold water’ look,” Baker wrote on Facebook, joking that getting a midship draft reading was difficult because “it’s a bit hairy at the moment.”

Seven precincts in, and it’s 958 to 498 (65 to 34%). Really early delegate count is 22-10, Hillary, with the other 28 in Senatorial districts with no returns yet.

For the past 8 years, any time the President has had harsh remarks about the press, they’ve got apeshit and accused him of threatening the integrity of the fourth estate of our democracy and suggesting he wanted to act like a dictator by controlling the press.

Now Trump shakes his fists and threatens the press, and they roll over to show their belly. “We’re so sorry, Donald, please don’t refuse to call in to our interviews anymore! We’ll behave!”

You know, we’ve compared the Bros to PUMAs in the past, but I don’t remember the PUMAs ever getting this crazy going into the final stretch. Yeah, there were a few that suggested she could pull off a major win at the end that would keep the superdelegates on her side, but none suggested that the delegate count was off by 10.6% and she was really winning.

I think we’re going to find that the number of “Democrats” who will leave over her nomination will be less than a percentage point, with most of those threatening to “leave” the party being unaffiliated “independents” who were probably going to vote for Stein anyway as a strike against the “two party system.”

This is terribly constructed, poorly punctuated, and has incorrect noun/verb agreement (media is plural.)

No that’s wrong. I use to work at the NCLR in the 90s. The origins of the organization is rooted in the civil rights struggles of Mexican-Americans in the 1960s in the U.S. The term La Raza came from a Mexican poet. La Raza is short for La Raza cosmopolito which means the cosmopolitan people. The poem was about honoring the diversity of Latinos. As in were are so diverse and unique like the stars in the sky. It does not mean the race. Hispanics are not a race. We are an ethnicity. There are Latinos of all nationalities and Americans of all races working were at NCLR. The explanation is at their website.

A serious candidate would have foregone all the huge rallies aside from primary nights and focused that money on GOTV efforts. The excuse that’s commonly offered up, that Sanders had to build “name recognition,” is ridiculous because getting people burning up phones and knocking on doors would have done more to spread the word than hosting a huge rally on a college campus.

From the link in the first tweet:

When will Gov. Susana Martinez finally endorse Donald Trump?

Notice I’m asking when, not if. You know she has to do it sometime between the New Mexico primary, coming up Tuesday, and the Republican National Convention in July.

Her dilemma became worse for the Republican last month when the presumptive GOP nominee came to Albuquerque and used the occasion to bash her.

“The governor has to do a better job,” he said. “She’s not doing the job.”

He then talked about the state’s struggling economy as well as all the Syrian refugees Martinez is bringing to the state. I swear, you can’t even go to the grocery store without tripping over a bunch of Syrians these days. (According to a federal database, a total of four Syrian refugees have been settled in New Mexico since January 2015. Of course, Trump and his devotees don’t need no stinkin’ federal database. …)

I love that the internet is so big that almost everything is possible. I was trying to find out what a “white spin class” was, and ran across this, The Oreo Experience:

The Oreo Experience or: A Total Whitey in a Black Chick’s Body

Oreo - Slang: Black on the outside….white on the inside.

My grandparents have really cool recessive genes for black people. They have this rich, dark skin with bright blue eyes.

I also have an interesting recessive gene for black people: the one that makes me love Renaissance Fairs, Kristen Chenowith and dressage competitions.

This blog is dedicated to that existence.

But, but in NY, supposedly the Berners made 92 bazillion calls in a 24-hour period and it was going to change everything. Except, of course, that it didn’t change a fucking thing. But that’s because Hillary stole all the votes in Brooklyn and NY wouldn’t change their election laws, so it was totally unfair.

And his Washington Square rally drew 100s of thousands (except that the picture they used to prove that was from a rally in Paris—not that the Berners would notice that the Eiffel Tower isn’t in New York…)

The BernieBros’ problem is, they don’t realize that there is no one worse than Donald Trump. Nobody.
