Video: Trump Supporters Get Violent Again in Asheville, NC

But whatever you do, don’t call them “deplorable”
Politics • Views: 41,350

At Donald Trump’s rally today in Asheville, North Carolina, a scene we’ve witnessed way too many times in this campaign, as one of Trump’s thuggish supporters grabs, punches and slaps several protesters — then is simply allowed to remain in the rally as the protesters are thrown out.

Trump has encouraged this violent behavior on many occasions, even saying from the stage in Las Vegas recently, “I’d like to punch him in the face.”

Arise, all ye Fascist pieces of shit! Soon you won’t have to pretend to be nice anymore!

All the special snowflakes who are so concerned about being too PC are suddenly yelping and caterwauling over Clinton calling them out on their bigotry.

Trump too.

He and the GOP built that. They need their special protection zone to limit the effect of being called a bigot - which is precisely what they are. Bigots.

Question for anyone who cares to opine:

If you were going to make 2-3 contributions to key senate races in hopes of flipping the majority, where would you put your money? I am, of course, not talking about a huge sum of money here. Even so, where does anyone see a contribution making a difference?

The Trump fans at my work now include a Millennial kid who reads the alt-right “to get things from all sides”, a guy in his 60s who thinks that “the government is full of shit” and Trump will be some kind of plumber, and an older woman who is waaaay more on the God Squad than I realized and honestly thinks Hillary is part of the New World Order.

I should know better than to wander into conversations on that aisle… Thank goodness I’m leaving Texas in a couple of weeks. I’d like to get out before the crazies go full spaz in response to a Hillary victory (or worse).

In particular, we need heightened security and awareness at Democratic facilities and functions, media outlets, mosques, and “liberal” facilities like Planned Parenthood and various widely publicized NGOs. If that guy owned any protective headgear at all, he’d have worn it to hide his face, so that narrows him down to a member of the Loud & Proud Crowd.

Thinking about this too.

Trump will lose; I refuse to give my fellow Americans so little credit as to imagine he will win. He won’t.

Then he’ll be facing all the tax evasion and fraud charges and underaged rape charges that are going to swamp him when the election is over. Trump is done. Don’t let the door hit his ass on the way out.

But his toadies. His slimy little toadies that will not go back under their rocks. I’m not scared of them, I’m pissed off that they want me to be scared of them and intimidated by these idiots that have a fever-dream frog as a symbol. I’m pissed that they have guns. And I’m pissed they’re now stirred up by a ridiculous little man like Donald Trump. And I am as pissed at the Republican Party as I have ever been at anything in my life.

So, yeah, they have guns and belief God is on their side and they’re oppressed and the usual bullshit. And the rest of us get to deal with them. But they don’t scare me. I’m a Texan. Seen these people my whole life all around me.

Jes’ speculatin’…

I see a pretty distinctive beard and hat, even in silhouette. Chances are, Mr. Arsonist rides around in those clothes all the time, and people know who he is by sight. E.G. “Oh it’s THAT guy! He rides his Harley on my street sometimes”… ID should come quickly. If that guy owned any protective headgear at all, he’d have worn it to hide his face, so that narrows him down to a member of the Loud & Proud Crowd.

(I bet he got a bit drunk at a local bar, got mad at The Mewzlims and was feeling all “TRUMP FOR LIFE YO”, and decided to get ugly on the ride home. If so, he may have started the fire with gas from his own bike.)

Yep, a boater hat. Not many bike guys wear that.

Easy there. These little freaks are EXACTLY the type to go “running for the trunk” when confronted. I admit that it’s tempting to want to clock someone who’s being a physical scumbag, but in a crowded setting, things can escalate quickly, particularly if the Trumpite thinks that he’s in a crowd and has the advantage of numbers.

How do they do on their own, one-on-one? Well, remember the famous pic of the neo-Nazi visibly pissing his pants when confronted with an angry black protester?

We visited the LBJ Ranch in Johnson City, TX a while back, and it’s a national park site. They don’t hold back on how he used to do business. From doing business while he was on the toilet (and he had a phone installed in the bathroom), to using his physical stature (and his smoker’s breath) to intimidate others into giving him what he wanted. It’s part of the reason he was so successful in Congress.

Also, being a bit of an asshole, and pretending that he lost control of a car going into a lake. Only to show it was an Amphibious Car.

LBJ was a proud owner of an Amphicar, a rare German vehicle that looked almost indistinguishable from a normal car, but could double as a serviceable boat. Roughly 0.02 seconds after acquiring it, Johnson developed a favorite pastime: He’d invite friends and acquaintances to his Texas ranch and take them on an Amphicar joyride. Only he’d deliberately neglect to mention the amphibious capabilities of his vehicle, opting instead to pretend that he’d lost control of the car and, faking utter terror, steer them at some speed into a nearby lake. Sources don’t explicitly state that he rigged the car’s PA system to blast rock anthems and the Wilhelm Scream as this happened, nor do they confirm that he ramped several flaming buses before driving his unsuspecting guests to their apparent deaths, but I think we can safely agree that these things are implied.

Imagine this from the victim’s point of view: You have received the utmost honor of witnessing a U.S. president in its natural habitat. You expect your visit to be fruitful and full of important, future-defining discussion … right after you get this stupid joyride out of the way. And then, the horrified LBJ suddenly loses control of the car and exclaims: “The brakes don’t work! We’re going in! We’re going under!” Cue a rush of landscape, an approaching body of water, the sound of your panicked screaming, and a splash. Congratulations! You have now pooped your pants in the presence of the president, who is laughing his ass off and may or may not be waving his dick at you in celebration.

In LBJ’s defense, what he did was pretty much what each and every one of us would do, given access to an amphibious vehicle. However, the fact that he did this repeatedly to everyone, from the members of his own cabinet to foreign dignitaries, while being the president in an extremely turbulent political time, puts his pranking head and shoulders above the rest, if only because literally everyone else would probably be arrested if they attempted a stunt like that.

How did the Secret Service handle LBJ?

The rest of that Cracked article is pretty fucking epic, too; for example:

#4. Franklin D. Roosevelt: Slapstick President

The esteemed Franklin D. Roosevelt had a knack for mischievous humor and real difficulty keeping his mouth shut when he came up with something that amused him. An example: According to a relative, FDR once managed to cause a mild diplomatic emergency over the correct way to cook goddamn Brussels sprouts. The so-called Sprout Incident happened in the latter stages of World War II, when Roosevelt started giving shit to Winston Churchill’s wife over the fact that English people boil sprouts (justified), and then proceeded to punk her with a number of completely ass-pulled “better” recipes (slightly less justified). Eventually, FDR pulled John Winant, U.S. ambassador to Britain, into the mess, embarrassing him thoroughly.

The Churchills presumably fed Winant a lot of FDR’s messed-up recipes after that, because the next time he saw the president, Winant promptly told him he was a diplomat and not a fucking foodster, and that he’d resign in a second if Roosevelt ever pulled a stunt like that again. This is probably the closest to a “Now listen here, you little shit …” talk anyone has ever given a president — or, for that matter, a Roosevelt.

John “Balls of Adamantium” Winant, ladies and gentlemen.

Apart from randomly insulting English cuisine, FDR was also fond of puns and dad jokes. He’d call his secretary of the treasury just to make him guess who he was in bed with, only to eventually reveal that the answer was “A sore throat.” However, he was also a massive fan of simple, slapstick-style practical jokes. As a child, he’d freak out nurses by putting Alka-Seltzer in their chamber pots. As president, he’d summon reporters for a “massively important” press conference and have them meet a random farmer who proceeded to give the media a lengthy lecture about the importance of stud bulls. In physical therapy, he discovered that if he relaxed his legs at the exact right moment, his therapist would lose her balance and fall in the swimming pool, a revelation that caused him endless joy. Once, FDR even deliberately stranded a member of the Secret Service on the roof of a farm building by ordering him to scale said building, then bribing a dude to remove the ladder. He was that kind of guy.

As annoying as the whole slapstick shtick probably was, it may have been a blessing in disguise. When FDR dropped the pie-in-the-face act and started getting sneaky, things got pretty terrifying for his peers. He set up situations where he and his aides grimly informed the extremely human-rights-minded attorney general that, due to Pearl Harbor, he was to draft an act that forbade the freedom of discussion and information. They kept the ruse going for five full minutes, and as the panicked attorney general tried to argue against the idea, they all burst out laughing to his face. FDR also tried to trick the secretary of the treasury (yes, him again), who evidently took a Ron Burgundy approach to his speeches, to blurt out some very unstatesmanlike things during an address. (The man noticed the “unsavory things” in the script and abruptly ended it before he spoke them out loud.) In a particularly inspired move, Roosevelt even managed to prank call a number of well-known White House correspondents and recruit them as spokespeople for a famous laxative.

Consider that for a moment: The most famous voice in America prank called the very people whose job is to listen to him and convinced them to take up a new career as paid faces of a poop medicine. That is the kind of mind that gets to be president.

Well, that was a long day.

Drove, studied a bit, took my test and hopefully passed it. I think I did alright but it’s one of those weird things where the multiple guess test doesn’t leave me sure. OTOH, only need 60 of 90. Shrug.

OTOH, I got to stop by the nice little guitar store a mile or two away from the test site and played for a bit with a Fender Telecaster Deluxe and an Ibanez Artcore full size semi-hollow through a Fender Deluxe Reverb. I wasn’t in a side room so I had to fight the urge to dime the DR ;) Really the amp was the one thing I wished I had the money to buy. I’d rather get a Princeton Reverb but that Deluxe, even turned down does have a nice deep growl in its so very clean Fender way.

The Ibanez was a really nice guitar for a price of $499 at a little mom & pop store. If I didn’t have my Epiphone Casino Coupe (339 sized, fully hollow body, & P90 pickups) I’d be sorely tempted by it. I think the Ibanez was this model: sweetwater.com Certainly the tobacco color is right.

Then visited family, had a nice dinner with them, drove home and here we are - beer in hand, Simple Minds playing on the mp3 player & LGF in the browser. Not a bad day at all.

I just bought a new book that gives a super-detailed history of the Stones’ disastrous concert at Altamont Speedway. It looks like he’s going to talk a lot about the Grateful Dead’s involvement and of course the Hell’s Angels. I’m trying to finish another book first but this one is the next in line. It looks like it’s going to be an interesting read.

I’ve read a lot & seen a lot of docs about that concert. Very scary event, the Angels were so hyped up on speed/meth, NOBODY could control them.

Also, being a bit of an asshole, and pretending that he lost control of a car going into a lake. Only to show it was an Amphibious Car.

How did the Secret Service handle LBJ?

My dad worked in the car rental business and, for some reason, his company got their hands on an amphibious car. I remember him waking us up pne night to go for a ride in this new car they’d just got in, and driving down to the lake in the town where we lived. Then he drove it INTO the lake, and we were all certain he’d lost his mind.

The artists don’t use the kinds of stereotypes that the dufus would recognise. Probably too stupid to understand that 99% of the characters are supposed to be Japanese.

And the stupid whitewashing of live action films based on anime doesn’t help. I _like_ Scarlett Johansson but she should never have been cast as Major Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost in the Shell.

re: #236 Great White Snark

Aw crap. I thought Private would let anyone with the link see it. Of course it plays here. Ah well live and learn. Switching it to unlisted.

Unlisted is how I have done the few videos I have shared here. And then under a private tag for good measure.

re: #74 VegasGolfer

Do these people think we won’t fight back? I have plenty of weapons (that I don’t masturbate thinking about), and I wouldn’t be afraid to use against these people if they threatened me or my family or people who think the way I do in any way

That’s what confuses me too.

“You’re next cuck!”
“We’ll put you in the ovens!”
“Just wait till Rope Day!”

Do they really think that people are going to march into their fantasy death camps without protest? That “liberals” and “cucks” don’t have the means to defend themselves? That there are members of the military who took their oath to the Constitution seriously enough to resist?

(Besides, I’ve seen how these Pepistas shoot. Call me when your groups are smaller than your pants size, son.)
