Breaking: The New York Times Finds Two More Women Who Say Donald Trump Kissed and Groped Them Without Consent

“I wanted to punch the screen”
Politics • Views: 41,706

Iframe

The floodgates are now opening. As Donald Trump publicly declares that his admission of sexual assault was just “locker room talk” that he never acted upon, women he did molest are seeing him lie to the entire nation and it’s making them angry.

Donald J. Trump was emphatic in the second presidential debate: Yes, he had boasted about kissing women without permission and grabbing their genitals. But he had never actually done those things, he said. “No,” he declared under questioning on Sunday evening, “I have not.”

At that moment, sitting at home in Manhattan, Jessica Leeds, 74, felt he was lying to her face. “I wanted to punch the screen,” she said in an interview in her apartment.

More than three decades ago, when she was a traveling businesswoman at a paper company, Ms. Leeds said, she sat beside Mr. Trump in the first-class cabin of a flight to New York. They had never met before.

About 45 minutes after takeoff, she recalled, Mr. Trump lifted the armrest and began to touch her.

According to Ms. Leeds, Mr. Trump grabbed her breasts and tried to put his hand up her skirt.

Ms. Leeds wasn’t the only woman who watched Trump’s dishonest evasions on Sunday night:

Mr. Trump’s claim that his crude words had never turned into actions was similarly infuriating to a woman watching on Sunday night in Ohio: Rachel Crooks.

Ms. Crooks was a 22-year-old receptionist at Bayrock Group, a real estate investment and development company in Trump Tower in Manhattan, when she encountered Mr. Trump outside an elevator in the building one morning in 2005.

Aware that her company did business with Mr. Trump, she turned and introduced herself. They shook hands, but Mr. Trump would not let go, she said. Instead, he began kissing her cheeks. Then, she said, he “kissed me directly on the mouth.”

Read the whole thing. You know there have to be many more women out there who’ve been assaulted by this egomaniacal monster.

UPDATE at 10/12/16 4:57:33 pm by Charles Johnson

And here we go, folks. Now the Palm Beach Post is reporting on another woman who says Trump groped her without consent at Mar-a-Lago 13 years ago: Donald Trump: Woman says candidate groped her.

Donald Trump was asked during the presidential debate about when he bragged that he kissed women without their consent and grabbed their genitals – remarks captured on audio that surfaced last week.

Trump apologized for the remarks and dismissed them as “locker room talk.” But the debate moderator, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, asked Trump to clarify: “Have you ever done those things?”

“No, I have not,’’ Trump replied.

Watching at home in Palm Springs, Fla., McGillivray said she rose from her couch and yelled at the TV screen: “‘You liar!’’’

McGillivray, 36, said she was groped by Trump at Mar-a-Lago 13 years ago. She said she never reported it to authorities.

But her companion that day, photographer Ken Davidoff, vividly remembers when McGillivray pulled him aside moments after the alleged incident and told him, ‘’Donald just grabbed my ass!’’

UPDATE at 10/12/16 5:26:59 pm by Charles Johnson

It’s just snowballing. We can add creepy hints of pedophilia to the mix now:

As Republican nominee Donald Trump’s campaign still works to move past a recently released 2005 tape of his lewd remarks about women, more and more footage of similar comments made by Trump is surfacing.

In an “Entertainment Tonight” Christmas feature in 1992, Trump looked at a group of young girls and said he would be dating one of them in ten years. At the time, Trump would have been 46 years old.

The video, released Wednesday evening, was shot at Trump Tower.

In the clip, Trump asks one of the girls if she’s “going up the escalator.” When the girl replies, “yeah,” Trump turns to the camera and says: “I am going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?”

UPDATE at 10/12/16 5:48:31 pm by Charles Johnson

And another bombshell drops. Miss Washington 2013 says Donald Trump groped her:

According to Yahoo! News, Cassandra Searles made a Facebook post about her time on the Miss USA pageant, where she calls Trump a “misogynist” who “treated us like cattle.”

The full Facebook post says:

“Do y’all remember that one time we had to do our onstage introductions, but this one guy treated us like cattle and made us do it again because we didn’t look him in the eyes? Do you also remember when he then proceeded to have us lined up so he could get a closer look at his property? Oh I forgot to mention that guy will be in the running to become the next President of the United States. I love the idea of having a misogynist as the President. #‎HeWillProbablySueMe ‬‪#‎iHaveWorseStoriesSoComeAtMeBro‬ ‪#‎Drumpf‬.

According to Rolling Stone, Searles added in a comment on her initial post’s thread, “He probably doesn’t want me telling the story about that time he continually grabbed my ass and invited me to his hotel room.”

Prediction 2: some women will come forward with stories about Trump worse than these.

From below.

This Trump campaign is the vilest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.

It’s 20 years of talk radio/Fox “News” condensed into 18 months, and I don’t think the 9/11 attacks damaged this country 10% of what Trump and GOP have done this year.

I hope these women have solid support networks, because they’re about to be hit with the worst shitstorm of their lives and much of it will be led by Trump women.

From the point of view of credibility, the claims are well-supported, given how many friends they told at the time (just like Broaddrick, btw).

This is only a surprise if you tend to forget that almost everything Trump says is a lie. So when he said it was just talk, not action, well … of course it wasn’t.

It is literally ALL THEY HAVE - private emails stolen by the Russians - leaked by wikileaks to harm Hillary Clinton This is WHY pollsters are told people don’t trust Hillary Clinton - - because of Russian interference in the US elections. He wouldn’t even get 27% of the vote without his Russian friends

Yup. Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE) was interviewed on the radio here today going through pretzel-logic claiming she never disavowed Mr. Trump and absolutely supports the GOP candidate.

As a liberal, I could not get past the call screener to call out her hypocrisy and party-before-country attitude. (Deb Fischer’s office knows who I am, and has my on her blacklist of people she will not respond to.)

A big percentage of his supporters are Christian Taliban who want government to control pregnancy. They think Trump will put nutjobs on the Supreme could, and put abortion back underground (or at the doctor for the privileged) where they want it. To them, that is worth voting for a monster.

30
ObserverArt  Oct 12, 2016 • 4:42:18pm

None of this is important. What America wants is dirt from Hillary and her campaign staff emails. That is what is important. That is what sells.

Trump bullying business practices, his Neanderthal-like hitting women, dragging them home and groping them, his refusal to let people know his financials because he possibly has a whole lot to hide…mean nothing to our media and Trump supporters.

But boy, those Hillary emails sure are something!

Put her in jail.

How do these people sleep at night? Sure, I know it is a job and it pays well and all of this is just a part of it. But it has to go to the soul…to be that dishonest, to push a slimeball as a president…for money.

They’ll make any excuse for Trump. It’s fucking pathetic.

In the UK, the manufacturer of Marmite and Pot Noodles wants to raise the price for those two “food” items, after the pound dropped recently. One of the supermarkets doesn’t want to either absorb that increased price, or pass it on to the consumer, so there is a marmite and Pot Noodle shortage while they refused to pay the increased price.

However will I survive.

Danack  Oct 12, 2016 • 5:26:12pm

An interesting article from an interview with Trump’s biographers: politico.com

I think we’ve got a very good preview of what the next several weeks will be like in the debate last night. I thought when he literally prowled the platform or the stage last night, we got a picture of what it’s like in his bedroom while he’s tweeting at 3 a.m. He was barking in the ugliest fashion, saying the ugliest things. And from the moment he got out there, he played the role of a victim. He now considers himself a victim of the national media, primarily, and a bit of the Republican establishment that abandoned him overnight, and I think he’s a very dangerous man for the next three or four weeks.

We have seen what kind of polarization he can evoke over the course of 15 or 16 months, but I’m afraid that he’s going to attempt to deepen that in profound ways in the coming weeks. As recently as the convention, he tried to cool down those who said “lock her up,” and now he’s saying he would lock her up and even describing the way in which he would do it.

So I think that what is really dangerous is, over the course of the next few weeks, he’s going to push every button he can, and the primary button that he can push is racism. That’s been the undercurrent of the campaign throughout. Believe it or not, you can be more explicit about it than he has been so far, and he may well go down that path. And it’s a very dangerous time because he has still a substantial number of Americans who support him, and where he takes them is really quite threatening.

Two things - not to minimize their stories, which we have all sorts of reasons to believe, but again, Bill isn’t running for anything.

Second, do they not realize that they’re now playing “I know you are but what am I?”, and reporters will correctly say, “That’s all very well, and we’re sorry for what these women went through, but ALL THESE WOMEN over here say you did to them exactly what you bragged about to Billy Bush, and what you denied you ever did. Wanting to repeal the 17th amendment is now part of RWNJ dogma (for those that can count that high). I’ve never understood why it’s so much better for a state legislature to pick Senators than for the people to vote on it.

My best guess is that it is a consequence of RWNJ neo-Confederacy, where any opportunity to increase ‘states rights’ is taken, no matter how asinine.

The reason is simple.

You can gerrymander local voting districts to ensure a Republican majority in a statehouse, even if there are a majority of independents and Democrats in the state.

With a gerrymandered statehouse, you can then select two Senators who are Republicans, even if they wouldn’t win a statewide election.

But repealing that would work the same as repealing the II Amendment: Start counting states that would reject it, when you get to 14, the amendment fails.

re: #203 Anymouse

The reason is simple.

You can gerrymander local voting districts to ensure a Republican majority in a statehouse, even if there are a majority of independents and Democrats in the state.

With a gerrymandered statehouse, you can then select two Senators who are Republicans, even if they wouldn’t win a statewide election.

But repealing that would work the same as repealing the II Amendment: Start counting states that would reject it, when you get to 14, the amendment fails.

Right you are. I keep forgetting that the Cesspit of Satan (GOP) does unreasonably well at the state level.

My best guess is that it is a consequence of RWNJ neo-Confederacy, where any opportunity to increase ‘states rights’ is taken, no matter how asinine.

The states were already moving toward allowing popular vote of Senators. Oregon and Nebraska had laws for popular election, and another 10 states had advisory elections.

Between this and many areas drawing their school districting lines strictly along racial boundaries (like having separate city and county/parish districts), and “voucher” based schools, de facto segregation is still alive and well in much of white South.

Russia orders all officials to fly home any relatives living abroad, as tensions mount over the prospect of a global war

Note also that Alex Jones and Jill Stein have been beating the Putin war drums for some anti-Hillary fear mongering.

Awwww crap.

There’s an alternate explanation.

Russia’s running out of money.

Let’s hope the Russians love their children, too.

I’m surprised they managed fit that story in with all the breaking Kardashian news they’re running.

They did manage to squeeze it in below a story about Nicole Kidman’s long legs.

re: #387 Bill and Opus for 2016!

Between this and many areas drawing their school districting lines strictly along racial boundaries (like having separate city and county/parish districts), and “voucher” based schools, de facto segregation is still alive and well in much of white South.

Oh hell yes. Ironically, because they long ago became football factories (as well as pumping up both men’s and women’s basketball), some of the “Christian academies” are today more integrated than many of the public schools from which they were supposed to provide escape hatches.

One of my former American students is overjoyed. At age 27, she has bought her own house all by herself. She has had a home business making custom-made cupcakes for the last few years. Now she can move out of her apartment and bake cupcakes in a larger kitchen.

I wonder how secure Russia’s food supply is.

Cause, to be quite honest, she’s in it all for the attention. I’m not insulting her transition, I believe that to be legitimate, but she’s been playing it up for everything that she can get out of it, and screw everyone else.

That name sounds familiar as per someone famous’s kid. I know she was convicted of statutory rape, but is she the daughter of anyone weird? I seem to remember that.

John G. Schmitz, Congressman and prominent right-wing weirdo. How weird? He was thrown out of the John Birch Society for being too radical.
