Yet Another Woman Comes Forward to Say Donald Trump Sexually Assaulted Her

The GOP’s candidate for president is a serial predator who ran wild for many years
Politics • Views: 40,946

It’s just one after another now: Trump faces two new groping accusations as presidential campaign reels.

Summer Zervos, who competed on the television show’s fifth season in 2006, gave a news conference with celebrity attorney Gloria Allred in Los Angeles, saying Trump tried to get her to lie down on a bed with him when she met him in 2007 to discuss a possible job.

“He then asked me to sit next to him. I complied. He then grabbed my shoulder and began kissing me again very aggressively and placed his hand on my breast,” said Zervos.

Sounds like we’ll know more in a couple of hours.

MILITIA MEMBERS ARRESTED IN ALLEGED MOSQUE ATTACK PLOT

In a statement, the acting U.S. attorney for Kansas said charges would be announced at a press conference later Friday against three people “in a case involving a major investigation.”

Of course it is Trump who has been a very busy man. The obvious estimate is several incidents of abuse from each year of each pageant while he was owner of the pageant, plus several incidents per season of the Apprentice, plus a few dozen more opportunistic random groping incidents.

Edited to add: I forgot the wild sex parties.

Is the Trump campaign truly reeling? Is it? They keep doubling down every time something negative comes their way. Or they baffle with BS by pointing at the squirrel in the yard or at Obama in some idiotic video that shows nothing unbecoming.

The GOP owns this disaster, and they’re doing nothing - not even rearranging the deck chairs while Trump blows up all around them. That’s because ultimately the GOP still needs Trump voters to win elections, and these people comprise the bulk of the core GOP vote. Alienate them, and you’re screwed.

That’s why the GOP is doing all kinds of contortions. Triple lindy isn’t helping them either.

Not when Trump continues to make asinine excuses for being a sex predator (and his supporters buy it). These women corroborate what Trump said on the video - that he gropes and grabs and is a sex predator who thinks he’s above the law and can’t be touched because he’s Donald f’ing Trump. These women came forward, and are subjected to the very attacks we’ve come to expect from the deplorables - including Lou Dobbs doxxing one of the alleged victims.

That’s why they’ve been quiet until now.

They are coming forward in significant numbers now because there is safety in numbers - and the numbers are indeed worrisome (or should be for Trump). It shows a pattern of behavior that has been long established.

Meanwhile, his sons appear to have learned the same kind of misogyny from their dad, and I wonder if it’s a matter of time before women start making claims against them too. The Trump family is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.

It’s like a watered down version of the Hussein clan as if The Onion did the translation.

This Somali thing is a bit disturbing as there is clearly lots of buttons being pushed and blowback over ISIS recruiting in the US.

This whole mess is a sad tale of how poorly we are handling integrating newcomers.

Regarding the rise of miscellaneous terrorist-wannabes, also from today:

Terror in Texas: Homegrown plots now focus of anti-terror investigators

[…]

Since the Islamic State declared itself a global caliphate in 2014 - demanding the world’s attention with beheading videos and calls to followers to join the cause - the U.S. Department of Justice has filed charges against 105 people across the country for supporting the group, with more than 50 convictions.

Potential terror threats are under investigation in all 50 states and charges have been brought in 26, with at least five recent cases in Texas, according to anti-terrorism experts.

[…]

The largest cluster of criminal cases nationwide is in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, considered a U.S. hub for recruiting potential jihadis to Syria. More than a dozen members of the Somali community there have been charged with supporting Syria in ISIS.

[…]

Stories like the above are being seized upon by the hate-right to justify their militias and now we see a plot to attack Somalis and a mosque.

This dynamic is the one off of which Drumpfskind is feeding, and which he hopes to stir to greater glory of himself.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Several Donald Trump supporters at a campaign rally here Friday called for the jailing of a woman who accused Donald Trump of sexual assault.
As Trump ripped People magazine writer Natasha Stoynoff as “dishonest” for alleging he forcibly groped and kissed her in 2005, shouts of “lock her up” went up from several members of the crowd at the White Oak Amphitheater.

These people need help very, very badly.

Hours after Barack Obama denounced Donald Trump’s treatment towards women at a Friday campaign rally, the Republican nominee warned the president that women could come forward with sexual harassment allegations about him.

“He’s talking about me like he knows me,” Trump told supporters in Greensboro, North Carolina. “I don’t know him, he doesn’t know me and why doesn’t some woman maybe come up and say what they say falsely about me, they could say about him. They could say it about anybody. They could say it about anybody. He better be careful because they could say it about anybody.”

Really, what’s left to say? Trump belongs in a cage, not in the White House.

Perhaps for the best. The court case should run its course - but there are a couple of levels of stink around this case, so better not to mix it with what are at this moment more credible, less sensationalist claims.

The People story re: Marlee Matlin includes a few nuggets, including that at least one of the incidents occurred in front of Ivanka. And the guy who says he saw it happen? Richard Hatch.

Watching him in the boardroom making sexual comments to Marlee Matlin, to all of the women on the Apprentice, it was obvious that that’s just a part of who he is,” says 2011 contestant Richard Hatch. “It was obvious and it was grotesque. It was blatant and it was frequent. He did it with Lisa Rinna; He did it with Marlee Matlin. He did it with whomever happened to be there at the time.”

People reported that there was a second person who confirmed this happened, but isn’t coming forward.

Guess who the NYT would add to the depositions list should the Trump case ever go forward. Yeah, Ivanka, you’re going to be deposed. You should count on that too.
