Gateway Pundit, Drudge Report, Scott Baio Beclown Selves, Fall for Troll’s Story of “Destroying Absentee Ballots”
Let’s begin this week with yet another hilarious tale of self-beclownment by the fabled Stupidest Man on the Internet, Jim Hoft, shall we?
This morning Hoft set his caps lock key on stun and bashed out a screed about a POSTAL WORKER boasting about destroying absentee ballots that voted for Trump:
POSTAL WORKER Brags Online About Destroying Trump Ballots https://t.co/kVpUL5cwr1 via @gatewaypundit

Hoft’s post is the usual borderline illiterate rant he churns out like a derp mill every single day: POSTAL WORKER Brags Online About Destroying Trump Ballots.
(Random bold text in original.)
An Ohio(?) man who describes himself as a postal worker bragged online this weekend about destroying Donald Trump absentee ballots.
This was posted by Twitter user Randygdub on Sunday–
He actually bragged about it!
Of course, Republican users were outraged to see this leftist brag about his criminal activity.
Actor Scott Baio tweeted this out on the alleged crime:
I hope you get fired! Cheating is the only way she’ll win. @realDonaldTrump Hey @JohnKasich is this okay with you? https://t.co/9mgk11KZHk
— Scott Baio (@ScottBaio) October 17, 2016
So will authorities follow up on this?
Hoft’s post was immediately broadcast to the right wing universe by Drudge Report:
But you know where this is going already, don’t you? Yes, Hoft fell for a random tweet by a notorious Twitter troll. (A guy I blocked a while ago because I already see enough trolling in my timeline.)
His first clue that this was an obvious fraud and not a real “postal worker” might have been the fact that you can’t tell who a ballot is being cast for by looking at the envelope (unless you have super troll-ray vision). And if this imaginary postal worker was actually opening the envelopes, he’d be just as likely to destroy ballots for Clinton. But that would require Hoft to have the ability to actually think and reason, and that’s clearly not in the cards.
The real question is why more people don’t troll right wing bloggers and media like this — they’ll obviously fall for anything if it plays into their confirmation biases.
And if you really want to either laugh or get depressed (depending how you look at it), check out this Google search to see how this totally bogus story spread throughout the right wing blogs and media. This means we’re going to be hearing about it forever as a “fact” now.
Betsy Woodruff reports that this obviously fake story was also picked up by the godfather of wingnut talk radio, Rush Limbaugh.
Jim Hoft adds a hilarious update to his massive fail:
UPDATE: So the left says this story is a joke.
Because stealing elections is funny.
