I think all these people are realistic enough to know that Hillary can’t solve all the problems overnight, but that her heart is in the right place and that she and the Democrats will fight for what is right while the Republicans will spit in their faces. These are the people who will stand in line no matter how long it takes and who will, no matter what roadblocks the Republicans try to throw up, do what they have to do.
The right wingers talk about being the silent majority—they are neither silent nor the majority, and the ROAR is coming from the people who have had enough and who have waited long enough.

Funny (not) how “Grabbing them by the P*****” ISN’T sexual assault, just locker room banter, but a man with a sign is an assassination attempt.
From what I’ve seen so far the USSS and the Police performed their duties admirably. The Sec. Service got him out of what they perceived as a threat environment. Once the scuffle started in the front row and/or somebody shouted “GUN” they did exactly what they should have.

I concur. I taught civics in high school for many years, and something that would always get on my last nerve were the students who would say that although they believed the information in the textbook was accurate, they believed their parents’ versions/explanations rather than the facts in the textbook. Here in GA, there’s lots of indoctrination of children occurring in homes, churches and in the media. The parents here who were “outraged” that Pres. Obama wanted to provide a back to school video message to all students a few years ago aren’t really concerned about him indoctrinating their kids. They have that covered. Their real objection was that their kids would see a video from a “blah” man they didn’t want in their White House. I’ve lived here long enough that I’m able to decode what they’re really saying when they say certain things. They have a way of saying one thing, which is for public consumption, when they mean something entirely different. Gov. Deal used the word “colored” in a speech earlier this week, and after the media noticed it, he said he was talking about the NAACP. He wasn’t. He said exactly what he meant to say and blamed it on the NAACP. Anyone with one functioning brain cell should realize that he’s been MIA when it comes to matters related to race and should not be surprised that he still thinks of us as “colored” people, even though this word went out of the American racial lexicon more than 30 years ago.
