Video: Alex Jones Says Donald Trump Is a 9/11 Truther

“I happen to think that they had not only a plane, but they had bombs that exploded simultaneously”
WTF • Views: 62,092

MP4 Video

One of the first people Donald Trump called after his election victory was conspiracy-monger Alex Jones, the loon who thinks the Sandy Hook massacre was staged by the US government, and thinks the 9/11 terror attacks were an inside job.

Jones isn’t just an ordinary run-of-the-mill loon. He’s a loon with millions of followers, because apparently there are a lot of people in this country who need their heads examined.

And here’s Alex Jones today on Twitter, praising Donald Trump for being a 9/11 Truther and showing a video clip of Trump saying there must have been “bombs that exploded simultaneously.”

Remember, folks. I’m not trying to harsh your mellow, but Alex Jones has a direct line to the incoming Trump administration. Trump thanked him personally for his help and promised to go on his show soon.

I’d like to wake up from this nightmare now, please.

If I were on twitter (and this is a classic example of why I refuse to be) I’d have to say “I won’t IF you can explain how you can pretend to be smart enough to think you don’t support Jones & Trump while actually being stupid enough to support exactly the tripe they’re selling?”

Twitter is garbage. It can not be salvaged.

Want even moar nightmare fuel? We all know how trump has yuuuge IMAX-level projection skills, so…could a repeat of Operation Northwoods be around the corner, only without the sane people to shut it down? o_O

In the early 1960s, America’s top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba.

Code named Operation Northwoods, the plans reportedly included the possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship, and even orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities.

The plans were developed as ways to trick the American public and the international community into supporting a war to oust Cuba’s then new leader, communist Fidel Castro.

What better pretext could the trump/bannon/flynn cabal use as an excuse to go full-fascist?

Unfortunately there will always be 9/11 Truthers. The fact the attack happened during a GOP admin only helps to fan the flames.

On the other hand, all they have to do is (A) wait for an incident like today at OSU, when they can say “All Muslims are terrorists, into the camps with you,” (B) wait for the next BLM protest that blocks a highway, then declare “All black people are protestors, no voting for you, (C) pass some Arizona-class law requiring Hispanics have to carry their birth certificates at all times, then declare “Nope, they’re all illegal, off to the camps for you,” etc., etc., etc. No need for complicated long-range conspiracies with lots of participants to screw the plan up — just do whatever Stormfront and Breitbart want you to do.

(BTW if you haven’t watched W1A, you’ve worked in any modern-day bureaucracy, and you have Netflix, you owe yourself giving it a try. It’s a BBC sitcom about the BBC and quite short and hilarious.)

Don’t put your popcorn making supplies away just yet. We’ve still got some very entertaining viewing coming up.

First, we have the Inauguration festivities. Will trump use a teleprompter? Will he say anything that makes sense or will he start WW III? How big will the pro and anti trump demonstrations be? Will there be a parade or will it be cancelled? To make the event even more fun maybe we’ll be lucky and have a big, ripping blizzard that day.

The major entertainment will be the Senate confirmation hearings. All of the shit-stains trump has or will nominate to his Cabinet will have to be questioned before one committee or another. And there will be Democrat Senators (although a minority) on each and every one of these committees. The Democrat Senators will have binders of all kinds of “information” about each shit-stain. All the crap these shit-stains have done throughout their careers will be put forth before the American public on live TV and internet. We all know there’s a segment of Americans who won’t give a damm but there many of us who still care. Let’s let America and the World see just exactly what we’re getting with trump. (like we and them don’t know!!)

Right now it looks like the Senate split will be 52 - 48 or, if we’re lucky in LA (possible but not probable), 51 - 49. It will only take a 3-4 vote Republican swing and joining with the Democrats (as long as they hold together) to prevent any mass carnage of many popular programs. This close divide between parties means any shit-stain candidates that get approved will not have any kind of mandate for the office.

The big question is, how many of these shit-stains will the Senate weed out?

The Post Office Lease differs from many of Mr. Trump’s other business arrangements. That’s because, in writing the contract, the federal and D.C. governments determined, in advance, that elected officials could play no role in this lease arrangement. The contract language is clear: “No … elected official of the Government of the United States … shall be admitted to any share or part of this Lease, or to any benefit that may arise therefrom…”
The language could not be any more specific or clear. Donald Trump will breach the contract on Jan. 20, when, while continuing to benefit from the lease, he will become an “elected official of the Government of the United States.

I would not depend on 3 or 4 Republicans crossing over on anywhere near a regular basis.

They’re dealing with people - in many cases, possibly their own constituents - who have had no problem issuing death threats against reporters and anyone else who they view as disloyal to Trump.

You think those people are gonna pull back their threats in the least, even against elected officials? I don’t. Trumpers don’t give a fuck. They’ll scare their party back into line, because that’s what they do.

I’ll guess before. Ayatollah Pence has supporters salivating for an excuse to make him the “real” president. Trump, on the other hand, has happily done it to many, many women. And I really fucking hate hypocrisy.

So I might not engage in it myself, but I’m sure as hell not going to tell someone else to stop doing it.

Standards might have been different if he weren’t Trump, but he can’t help himself.

I don’t consider it making fun of him for being fat, but for calling reporters in and yelling at them for running pictures of him he doesn’t like.

I’ve been kind of leaning that way for a while. Don’t forget that Putin WANTS us to be at war with Iran so to raise the value of his oil. That will also distract the public here from him snagging all of the Ukraine and all three baltic republics. The only question is if he’ll over extend and try to force Poland back under Soviet Russian control which would bring the Bundeswehr into the situation.

Get those new hats in there, we just got ‘em and need to start selling ‘em. And put the red one to the left (their right) of the dark one like her red outfit is left of Trumpo’s dark suit.

re: #54 Cheechako

None. Every Republican will vote as a unified block as they have since Obama became President. If any Republican deviates from the Party Line they will be purged in a primary.

I will be here fighting. That’s what American’s should be doing. Not running. Not giving these bastards that keys to the candy store. When you are ready to come home, we’ll be here waiting for you.

As Churchill put it in three different speaches:

I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat

We shall go on to the end… we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender

Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves, that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, This was their finest hour.

That was their finest hour. It is time now for ours even if the enemy is domestic rather than foreign.

But black ppl fighting, especially nonviolently, yea that bugs them, bc deep down inside they know they are immoral and they can’t stand it when we have the higher ground.

Speaking of black people who have kids, haven’t heard from majii in a while. She’s been radio silent since Election Day.

I’m a fat white old fart. I will be fighting here presuming the worst doesn’t happen and you will be welcome when you’re ready to return. That wasn’t snark - just reality. I will stay, I will resist and it will be for everyone. America will always be here for Americans.

I’m a lily white ski bum. Some say I’m blessed. Some say luck had to do with it. I tend towards the latter.

Working with Jamaican folks brought to the ski area on work visa when I was in my early 20s had quite an impact. We had a lot of fun.

The Pakistani province of Sindh recently passed a law forbidding forced conversions to Islam, punishable by 3 years in prison. In Islam, forced conversions are strictly forbidden with the infamous Qu’ranic verse “There is no compulsion in religion”.

So all should be well, right? Especially with irrefutable evidence strengthening the narrative of such a law, eh?

Well, not according to a bunch of backward cavemen that represent the Jamaat-i-Islami party, as they have chimed on their useless opinion of a much-needed law:

But look how they contradict themselves with the statement:

“Since the assembly has collectively banned religious conversion, it has committed treason with the Quran and Sunnah, and the Constitution. There is no justification for the assembly to stay,” the JUI-S leader said.

It is regrettable that minorities in Pakistan have the “right to preach their religion, but a sick secular mentality are interfering” in an Islamic country, the statement added.

He said Islam does not allow forced conversion. “It is the responsibility of the Islamic state to work for the promotion of Islamic injunctions.”

Cognitive dissonance at work by a group of religious thugs who think they are doing God’s work but in reality making a mockery of what Islam is supposed to be.

Understood. Here in America I deal with the same crap every day as a Christian believer who happens to be be radically liberal theologically and reactionary liturgically. I sit a listen to shit birds daily who pretend to espouse God’s word while actually blathering the worst of human error.

Fundamentalism is the worst poison that can infect any human endeavour; it is most commonly associated with religion but lets be real, it infests secular movements as well. It just hides behind different names. Even atheism can be sullied by those who use the same kind of thinking as any other fundamentalist. Religious thinking is terribly comforting to humans, even those who have given up religion… O_o

It’s a Monday night - that means this is my Saturday night. I don’t have ot work (hell, I’d have had to be there an hour and a quarter ago :D ) so it’s time for me to crawl off and actually sleep while the sun is down.

Good night and the good one’s blessings to all.

Speaking of fundamentalism, this piece in The Independent is actually a very good read about some British Muslim women embracing Salafism with zeal:

My problem with Salafism stems from their decision to throw away and discard centuries of diversity within Islam that helped thrive in areas it was spread to and just stick to their puritanical but misguided view on how to live like that in an ever-changing world.

They can’t expect to live like that and be hostile to homosexuality forever, for example.

That tweet isn’t accurate, though - the article says health care providers will have to pay for burial or cremation, not patients.

It’s still ABSOLUTELY FUCKING DISGUSTING, though. And pretty soon, the people who pass laws like this are going to be in charge of the whole country.

That’s why I included the disclaimer that I hadn’t clicked through to the article yet, because I wasn’t sure how accurate the tweet was.

Still plowing through the remainder of tonight’s word count. Sigh.

I haven’t looked at the article, but, it occurs to me that it’s likely any cremation or burial would also require official death certificates to be completed and filed.
