Notorious White Supremacist Troll Chuck C. Johnson Says He’s “Doing a Lot of the Vetting” for the Trump Team

Who’s flying the Trump plane?
Weird • Views: 75,466

Stefan Molyneux is one of the malignant personalities popular with the “alt-right,” a sort of Renaissance man of horrible white supremacism and misogyny. And today in his YouTube webcast of awfulness he interviewed a motley crew of racists and conspiracy-mongering dirtbags including Alex Jones, Paul Joseph Watson, Gavin McInnes, Vox Day, Scott Adams… and last but least, our old pal, white supremacist cyberstalker Chuck C. Johnson.

The reason why I’m even writing about this hatefest dressed up in an ugly Christmas sweater is because Johnson claims in this video that he’s “doing a lot of the vetting” for the incoming Trump administration. If that’s true (and given what a majestic shitshow Trump’s picks for his cabinet and other government positions has been so far I wouldn’t be surprised), then Trump has given one of the most important jobs in the United States to one of the most despicable racist scumbags imaginable.

As I said, this wouldn’t be surprising; it would be just one more nightmarish component of the Trump Horror.

Johnson, by the way, was recently banned again from Twitter when he tried to come back for the 25th time. (That’s not a typo; he’s now tried to register 24 times since his original account was permanently banned.) And he just got his access to his Facebook account restored, after his fourth month-long suspension this year.

Better news than earlier, but I’ll feel a lot better if a positive determination of any brain/organ damage is made, given how long she wasn’t breathing.

As I said downstairs,

Sorry but I find that extremely unlikely based on the BBC reports. ~10+ minutes without breathing? Manual CPR till the hospital? I’d guess it’s more a matter of family arrival and sorting out who has the power of attorney for medical to authorize pulling the plug.

The way a president’s thoughts and views are conveyed to the public does not somehow invalidate them or make them of lesser importance. A president giving a speech on the radio does not mean the public can simply ignore it because not everybody is tuning in to listen to it.

Electoral Integrity Project: North Carolina is no longer classified as a democracy.
newsobserver.com

More at the article linked above… .

In 2012 Elklit and I worked with Pippa Norris of Harvard University, who used the system as the cornerstone of the Electoral Integrity Project. Since then the EIP has measured 213 elections in 153 countries and is widely agreed to be the most accurate method for evaluating how free and fair and democratic elections are across time and place.

When we evolved the project I could never imagine that as we enter 2017, my state, North Carolina, would perform so badly on this, and other, measures that we are no longer considered to be a fully functioning democracy.

In the just released EIP report, North Carolina’s overall electoral integrity score of 58/100 for the 2016 election places us alongside authoritarian states and pseudo-democracies like Cuba, Indonesia and Sierra Leone. If it were a nation state, North Carolina would rank right in the middle of the global league table - a deeply flawed, partly free democracy that is only slightly ahead of the failed democracies that constitute much of the developing world.

BTW I am totally empathetic, had my share of heartbreak in decades of air travel. However, it is not the 20th century anymore. No amount of online shaming is going to get an airline to give you a hotel room due to a weather-related delay.

Authoritarian regimes make a habit of running all those who supported the previous regime out in favor of filling the seats with sycophants and brainless followers. Really…the “she stopped breathing!!!” came from a tweet by an alleged passenger on the plane. How did that person know that for a fact? (“OMG! I saw them put an oxygen mask on her!!11!!!” — my small and feeble attempt at a dramatic re-enactment…)

“CPR continued even after they took her off the plane” — according to another anonymous source who probably hasn’t got a clue what actual CPR looks like.

“Ten minutes without breathing!!11!!” — again, according to WHO???
Carrie became in distress in flight. Medical assistance from qualified passengers was requested by the flight crew.

Got to say that my first thought was a DVT broke loose, not a heart attack.

65
Backwoods_Sleuth  Dec 23, 2016 • 6:09:43pm

I’m just gonna say this once as a retired EMT who has been in the trenches and have actually done CPR on people who survived, those who didn’t, and refused to do it when I could tell it was beyond hope.

As long as there is oxygen moving in the lungs and blood, the brain has a major advantage to survive in great form.

Oxygen moves with Mouth-To-Mouth, with an oxygen mask, with a BVM.
Chest compressions keep the heart moving that blood oxygen moving onward upward to the brain.
An AED can get that heart going again, even if the rhythm is erratic. Erratic rhythm is better than a flat line any day.

And kudos to that EMT on the flight who came up from coach to first class to answer the call. No matter what happened, once you start CPR, you never give up, you never surrender, unless someone higher up the ladder takes over or the patient says “stop!”

HappyWarrior  Dec 23, 2016 • 6:10:29pm

TBH, I consider myself pretty fairly pro Israeli but the settlements I think don’t help the peace process. I won’t claim to be an expert on the issue but I do think Israel would be much better off with someone like Rabin or Begin who values peace. I realize the Palestinians don’t have someone like Anwar Sadat either so that hurts things. It’s a complicated issue which is exactly why it’s fucked up of the Republicans to act like Obama betrayed Israel here. And honestly, it’s not like Bibi hasn’t gone out of his way to screw Obama due to his pathetic vendetta against him and those same Republicans chose Bibi, a man who isn’t even their President over our own. We have similar but not the same interests as the Israelis. Republican end-timers need to get stop acting like our interests are exactly the same.

I made it until a couple of episodes ago, when I lost interest.

I think the story line change after a climax of sorts kind of was a jumping off point for me.

Regardless, as a time-travel genre entry it is stronger than many as far as character development. Yet it is still presenting the most obvious of time travel flaws by not addressing the elephant in the room, the same elephant that the contemporary series Timeless also ignores - the past (for anyone) is the past and thus anything that happens X years ago is indeed X years old.

Both series tries to present the past and present (or the present and future) as being actually contemporary, running in parallel, rather than sequential. It’s the same problem with Frequency, but at least in that story the present is directing the past in a more direct way (though the paradox remains.)

Trump. That’s who.

Pitiful.

Haven’t you heard? Dear Leader has announced that he, being a man of the people, does not need high-priced celebrity acts at his inauguration.

Rockettes Not Required to Dance at Trump Inauguration, Company Says

Within hours of confirming plans to appear at the inauguration of Donald J. Trump, the Radio City Rockettes were plunged into a maelstrom of social media outrage on Friday amid reports that the performers were contractually obligated to dance at the ceremony or lose their jobs.

But as the day wore on, both the Madison Square Garden Company, which manages the Rockettes, and the dancers’ union, the American Guild of Variety Artists, said that any of the dancers could opt out of the Jan. 20 performance in Washington.

The day of statements followed reports that a Rockette was “embarrassed and disappointed” that the decision to perform had been made for her. The dancer’s private Instagram post was published by the gossip website Perez Hilton and quoted widely by news outlets. That dancer, Phoebe Pearl, did not respond to multiple requests for comment on Friday, nor did several of her fellow performers.

Not long after those reports, a statement relayed through Mikyl Cordova, a spokeswoman for the Madison Square Garden Company, said that dancers’ appearances are voluntary.

“For a Rockette to be considered for an event, they must voluntarily sign up and are never told they have to perform at a particular event, including the inaugural,” the statement read. “It is always their choice.”

The statement also said that, among the dancers, Mr. Trump’s inauguration has been a popular opportunity: “In fact, for the coming inauguration, we had more Rockettes request to participate than we have slots available. We eagerly await the inaugural celebrations.” Nonetheless, the company did not respond to further inquiries or make any dancers available for interviews.

Despite these assurances, many of the women may feel under pressure to perform. Much of the fear and confusion could be traced to an email sent on Thursday night by the union to some of the dancers.

“If you are full time, you are obligated,” said that message, which was forwarded to The New York Times. “Doing the best performance to reflect an American institution which has been here for over 90 years is your job. I hope this pulls into focus the bottom line on this work.”

Union officials did not return any calls, but on Friday evening, the guild said on Facebook that it had reached an agreement with the company that would allow all employees, even full-time dancers, to opt out of the inauguration. It said the earlier email to its members had simply been an explanation of the existing contract.

The pressure to perform at the inauguration ceremony will probably vary based on the circumstances of each Rockette, according to a performer who spent five years with the company.

Heather Lang, a contemporary dancer who left the Rockettes in 2009, said in a phone interview that there are about 12 full-time dancers who perform in both winter and spring shows. They are a minority of the company, which has about 80 Rockettes. All of the dancers were seasonal until about a year ago.

Ms. Lang, 35, said that for full-time and seasonal dancers, there is a fear of jeopardizing their future employment and of compromising their standing in the eyes of James L. Dolan, the executive chairman of the Madison Square Garden Company, and his executives, if they complain or try to bow out.

“One of the most annoying situations about that job is it’s corporate,” Ms. Lang said. “It’s not like a Broadway show where you feel like you have an artistic voice. You’re sort of owned by this corporation.”

So even if an appearance is considered voluntary, individual Rockettes may feel forced to perform if they are told that executives want them onstage in Washington.

Debussy rattled off piano tunes like a pro but I think many of them work better when written for more than a soloist (and many of the most popular Debussy variations were orchestrated by Ravel), and here is another example, where adding a violin to the piano makes for a more engaging piece, I think:

Two days ago an upper level low drifted north from the subtropics to off of San Diego, where these things tend to die (always when a hurricane makes it up this far.) Anyway, we got some warm rain a couple of days ago. Now a more typical winter cold front is coming through… and with the local surface already wet there is also enough precipitable water to make for some good rainfall.

First time in about 3 years.

We’re still behind for the yearly rainfall average, though.

Area weather, courtesy of the storm coming on shore in LA, from the Cheyenne NWS office:

I live in the southern Panhandle, so for now the prediction is little snow, but a slight movement of the storm could change that.

We continue to monitor a powerful storm system which could bring hazardous winter weather to parts of the region Christmas Day. This storm system is moving onshore out west. Confidence is increasing that the greatest impacts will be from east central Wyoming into the northern Nebraska Panhandle, where 2-5 inches of snow will combine with wind gusts over 40 MPH to produce very low visibilities and near-blizzard conditions in falling and blowing snow. A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect for those areas from 5 AM Sunday until 5 AM Monday. Areas across far southeast Wyoming and the southern Nebraska Panhandle may receive very little if any snow, but the I-80 corridor from Arlington to (and including) Cheyenne will be very windy with wind gusts of 55+ MPH likely. A High Wind Watch has been posted from the southern Laramie Range east to Cheyenne from 8 AM to 11 PM Sunday. If you are planning travel across east central Wyoming or the northern Nebraska Panhandle, please be prepared to adjust your plans accordingly. This storm will likely be much worse across the western and central Dakotas, where Blizzard Watches and Warnings are in effect. Be weather aware if you are heading that direction as conditions may be life threatening!

Look, I get being a bigger person, and the theoretical Christian concepts, but I’m very tired of this. Black people should not have to keep being understanding of racism in 2016. Kid gets harassed and bullied, he should have known better. He got to put his arm around a professional cheerleader, and felt the need to be racist, he should be made to feel bad and not get a frackin hug.

My brother, my mom and I got to talking about movies and the topic swung around to which one of all of them we ever saw we would want to watch on Christmas Day. We agreed almost immediately that it wouldn’t be any of the classics, certainly not “Perfect Life” and not even any of the versions of Scrooge.

What we wanted, it seems, is something that simply makes us feel good for being human. The discussion ended without conclusion since my brother had to leave, but our preliminary candidates were a pretty diverse lot: It Happened One Night; African Queen; King of Hearts; and Zorba the Greek.

Any helpful suggestions, folks?

I miss DF’s presence here as an example of the opposition, but I don’t miss his occasional flashes of Party Above Country and generally tone deaf pronouncements. I rarely if ever downding regulars here, but DF received at least two from me and told him why. Never got a response for either ding.

High school students do stupid things. Sometimes fatally stupid things. Cut the kid some slack. Maybe he learned something from this.

She’s an adult. She treated him like a kid, because he is one. As far as I’m concerned, she did the right thing. Getting all confrontational would have just made the situation worse. He was already taking some serious heat on social media, which could have escalated into violence.

Anyway, he hugged her. She responded in kind. End of story.

Our ex-mayor brought by four Canada geese he and his grandson shot this morning.

They are currently cooling in our shed because we didn’t have any water to clean them.

He likes to hunt, but does not like to clean geese. As such, he wouldn’t hunt geese until my wife commented one day she never had eaten geese before (and she knows how to clean birds).

Next morning: blam blam blam blam down by the river, and he shows up ten minutes later with a couple geese.

He has come by a couple times since then, bearing geese. My wife will usually give part of them already cooked back to him.

He put his remarks on Snapchat — dumb move for sure. It would have been appropriate for someone to call him out on it on Snap right away, but I’m not sure if anyone did. He got plenty of heat later, though.

I agree with you that racism from anyone needs to be challenged and put down immediately. From what I heard, that lady in Louisville ranted several minutes at two Latinas and no one interceded or told her to pipe down. If I’d been there — unlikely since I rarely visit JC Penney or the Jefferson Mall when I am in town, I would have given her what-for.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it earlier, but the Jefferson Mall is in the southern side of Louisville, which for decades was where predominantly white working class folks lived. Beginning in the 1970s, various refugee and charitable agencies (Catholic Charities, for one) began settling Asian and African immigrants in the South End. Meanwhile, Hispanics began settling in the area, because housing expenses in the South (and the still predominantly African-American West) End are lower than anywhere else in the city.

So now the South End is demographically diverse, and angry white lady is not able to deal with it.

I love Louisville, but it is a prime example of how housing segregation can have long lasting effects over decades. Each area of town has a distinct demographic, and ironically it’s the WWC South End that’s seen the greatest change.

Well, as I understand racism, it is learned, not ingrained.

I call out instances where I see them, but I have not seen such here. (That doesn’t mean racism doesn’t exist, just that I have not observed or heard it.)

My guess is Mr. Paladino learned it. Now that he has an orange leader that condones it, he is letting his freak flag fly.

re: #225 wheat-dogg

I would posit the dumb move was the racist comment, not the medium with which he spread his message.

I went looking for a car when I was stationed at Hood. I ended up at a car dealership in Killeen. I was walking in the lot when this guy starts following me in one of those golf carts. He asks me what I’m looking, for, I tell him. What I don’t tell him is the amount I’m pre-approved for, because I’m not a goober. The sales associate and I start talking (he’s an older white male), and it turns out he’s literally from my hometown. So this should be a slam dunk for him, right? I start asking him if he knows any of my family (my Grandfather was in local politics for like 20 years), and this man feels comfortable enough to tell me that his family ‘got out before all the black people moved in’.

So no, it’s not exactly ironic that these areas see demographic change. Redlining was a thing, and the demographic changes were the largely a result of the FHA, aka dragging people kicking and screaming towards equality. IMO, needs more dragging, and maybe some kicking.

There an excellent German TV show, an eight episode series, called Deutschland 83 that uses NATO’s Able Archer exercise of 1983 as one of the major plot points. I highly recommend it. It was shown on the Sundance Network, but if you can find it, watch it.

The general premise is… an East German spy infiltrates West German military.

In German, with English subtitles.

Finished watching the season of Aftermath, though I skipped a couple of episodes in the middle…

This has to be the worst show that NBCU has put on one of their premier stations (SyFy) in a long time.

It’s a trainwreck, which drew me into watching the last two episodes.

Rarely has writing this bad been put on as a series.

It’s so absurd, that if it gets renewed that the only possible next step…

… as the lead actress has been sucked up into a wormhole (?), with all the moon fragments and those flying demons… that the only place she can land on the other side is Oz.

That’s right, make season two in the Land of Oz. It would be more logical, and hilarious.

As one IMDB forum post puts it, this show is The Rapture On Crack.

Read this review on the IMDB:

I like cheap shows…………and to put off the haters of Aftermath I give it a 10/10, even though I would normally give it a 5. I am sure that I am not the only one who likes cheap Sci-Fi. In large parts the acting is bad, really bad and so is the editing, which makes the acting even look worse. I am convinced that the writers are emotionally unbalanced if not unstable or they write the scripts stoned or drunk. Maybe it is much simpler and M. Night Shyamalan wrote the whole show under 11 different pseudonyms - on his mobile phone. But who cares. The show is a mindless ride with a story made up from scratch with no depth to it. Something I watch next to other things I do. Did I mention that I like cheap shows and crappy movies?

This is technically good news given the arms race talk from the Trump camp. There isn’t a whole heap of detail so while scrapping the deal might not result in an imminent Iranian bomb if North Korea can get fissile material, Iran can too, I suppose.

When the nuclear deal was agreed on, Iran had more than 100 kilograms of liquid or solid waste containing low-enriched uranium as part of its enrichment activities. Some of the material remains and the documents posted on Friday declare the low-enriched uranium it contains as “unrecoverable” and thereby not part of the 300-kilogram limit.

It’s so fucking insane that the incoming administration would even want to fuck with the deal. But they clearly want a dick-waving war of some kind.

This situation we’re in is… I can’t.
It’s unconscionable. It’s not what rational adults do.

As far as Dark Falcon’s claim he “cannot” go any other way than GOP because of his father, I can’t figure that one out. It seems kind of a strange thing to make up. Perhaps he is concerned for a large inheritance or a job or something? (In that case though, he wouldn’t need to broadcast support for the GOP all over the Internet to satisfy his father.)

I know had anyone in my family chosen to support Mr. Trump and could not be talked out of it, that person would no longer be part of my life. (My favourite cousin was for Mr. Trump, but after I visited her this summer, she switched allegiance to Mrs. Clinton - even put up yard signs for her in a town where nobody puts up yard signs.)

I’m absolutely in agreement with this. Wikileaks showed up on my map with the ‘Collateral Murder’ video, which Assange admitted without any seeming concern that he had deceptively edited to achieve a propaganda purpose. He was being interviewed on the Colbert show, and I think it was only the first or second time I saw Colbert break character, because he couldn’t believe it. Couple that with hiding out to avoid rape charges, aiding a traitor, and a lack of curation so bad even the traitor commented on it, and I almost see why their popularity among the left makes the right think we hate America.

Wikileaks also fails to corroborate the info they leak. Real journalists always ensure their primary source is reliable, and whenever possible they try to find a second source to be sure the primary source really is reliable. Wikileaks just takes stuff that others have absconded with, and AFAIK only check to make sure the stuff is from a “reliable” source. They leave the corroboration to others, who may or may not even bother with it before they publish.

TBH regarding Assenge, I never saw Wikileaks or him as sympathetic and that was before the sexual charges and of course his actions this election. I actually consider myself more dovish than hawkish as a whole but having taken international relations courses, I have no problem at all with countries wanting to keep certain information confidential not just for national security concerns because the release of said information can and will get people killed- a reason why I’ve never been a Snowden admirer too. Plus, I think WL shows the two facedness of some people who profess to hate things like the Patriot Act and other intrusive government programs and legislation while being a okay with releasing someone’s private emails like John Podesta because they don’t like that he ran a campaign that beat theirs. In the end, I’m for open government but I believe anyone who thinks governments shouldn’t be able to have secrets is a naive idiot and that’s what a lot of WL fans are especially on the left. Those on the right who champion WL only do so because they screwed Clinton which is even worse IMO since it’s not out of naivete that they support what WL does but to screw their opposition. Oh and of course Assenge exopsing himself as a Putin apologist and overall creep doesn’t hurt.

I have just learned about Stan Jones, the anti-gay libertarian politician who turned himself permanently blue because of Y2K.

Stan Jones’s misadventure with “colloidal silver” (usually dissolved silver salts) gives me hope that health care batshittery will be self-limiting over time. The true believers will die sooner and in larger number than the rest of us. This may take a lot of time, unless a true catastrophe like nuclear war and the associated medical stress intervenes.
Skepticism and critical thinking are not inherited in a biological sense, but even the dimmest suburban mall spawn could be expected to notice that the aunt who hated vaccines and “big pharma” went toes-up during the “big sickness,” along with assorted cousins, while the one who put her faith in doctors and science is still with us.

Honestly, I don’t know. I mean as you said, it’s easy to get not wanting confrontation. My very best friend is honestly more wingnutty than DF is but I go out of my way not to talk politics with him and our friendship endures. I get it’s different with a parent but then again there have been Republican presidents with children with differing political views and as far as I know, it didn’t make them love their children any less. I always had a theory that DF’s Dad was something of a big wig in the Illinois GOP. Maybe not an elected official but someone with influence. I think you’re right though that the tweets adn blog comments are the real DF. We’d see that mask slip off here sometimes. It’s too bad. I really did for the longest time give DF a BOD because I thought he was a good guy but when I heard about what he said to our own Joe Bacon about his son, that’s when I lost all respect and started going after him rather than just being polite. I never got personal in attacking DF mind you but I did tell him he acted like a partisan hack and I make no apologies for that.

Me, I’m listening to Christmas music stored on a hard drive.

There’s another expat in town from Romania. He’s married a local girl (an English major from the campus in a different city) and together they have a fast food joint in town. I hung out there this afternoon and evening, enjoying his Christmas music, some nice company and OK food. Ha! But the French fries are good!

Interesting guy. Born in Transylvania — he makes jokes about vampires — but his family moved to Spain when he was still young. His dad is Israeli. He’s lived in Portugal and Italy, and studied Japanese at uni. So, with English he speaks six languages in all. His wife is helping him learn Chinese now.

He’s an IT guy, and game programmer, so the restaurant is his wife’s business while he works online doing what I hope is legal stuff. ;-)

The city here is tearing up the sidewalks on either side of the main drag between campus and downtown. It’s difficult to say why. The road needs to be widened because traffic is constantly snarled at peak hours, but there are stone paving blocks sitting in stacks alongside the torn up sidewalks, which used to be covered with ceramic tiles. (A very Chinese thing) So I can’t tell what the plan is.

My friends and I could not get a taxi (as usual), and the traffic was so jammed at 4 pm, we decided to hoof it to the restaurant — about 3 km. But with the sidewalks torn up and the rain, we arrived with enough mud on our shoes and pants that you’d have thought we hiked in the woods somewhere.

Going back was almost as bad. No taxis. A driving instructor saw us and offered us a ride, for free!

Nice Christmas gift, if you ask me.

So maybe that letter from Putin to Trump may have been more grooming of the Useful Idiot.

Trump is so easily impressed, it’s not hard to imagine the Kremlin — or their operatives in the USA — cooking up a congratulatory letter to “His Excellency” then waited for his inevitable self-congratulatory, gee-whiz tweets.

I’m also guessing their translators and foreign ministry people know that US presidents are not addressed as “his excellency.” They chose the words deliberately to impress Donnie.

Certainly - in Trump’s case, if you wanted to address him as a future president, it’d be “The Honorable Donald Trump, President-Elect of the United States”. I would expect anyone in a European foreign ministry to know this simple fact. I don’t know about other leaders, but I do know that the Pope is addressed as “His Excellency”.

Status Quo guitarist Rick Parfitt has died in hospital in Spain aged 68, his manager has said.
He died from a severe infection after going to hospital on Thursday following complications to a shoulder injury.
Parfitt’s musical partnership with Francis Rossi, which spanned five decades, made Status Quo one of British rock’s most enduring acts.
He had been due to launch a solo career with an album and autobiography planned for 2017.
Status Quo found global success with hits including Rockin’ All Over The World.

Here’s how we briefly knew The Quo in the States. In the UK, they went on to re-invent themselves as a boogie band and became a national treasure.

Ingesting large amounts of it prophetically is not that proper use. Hence, blue people. You can ID stupid people by a variety of methods well known here: flying the traitors flag, Nazi tattoos, followers of the rage furby, and blue people.

I knew someone who did colloidal silver in huge amounts a few years ago and she turned blue for a while. She looks more normal now, but she was seriously blue there for a time. For the record, she fits the profile of a colloidal silver user. She believes every conspiracy theory that comes down the pike and is constantly posting them to her Facebook. Merry Merry all! I hope all the Little Green Footballers are enjoying a great Holiday season for whatever reason you celebrate and enjoy.

I’m enjoying a quiet weekend of doing nothing but playing music and writing songs and eating some foods I usually stay away from. What is a holiday if you can’t indulge?

One celebration and gift in a way is having watched the last two nights of HNL hockey and seeing the Columbus Blue Jackets move into first place in their division and now actually leading the entire league in points, record, and just about all meaningful statistics. Truly the best the team has been since joining the league…hopefully they keep the pace up.

It would be fun to meet klys’ favorite team, San Jose, in the Stanely cup. (Oh I hope I didn’t just upset the hockey gods with that).

And who knows, I might get to witness those lowly Cleveland Browns win a game today. They are currently leading San Diego and might be heading to some more points. Go Browns…you can win one game right…just one?

Just got off the phone with my one brother out in Arizona to wish he and his wife a nice Christmas. That is always both a good thing and a sad thing for me. He is suffering from Parkinson’s Disease and not only has it been debilitating for him, it is hard to speak with him on the phone as even his voice is affected.

The real bummer is I would so much love to go see him, but my own past couple of years has made that tough economically. I haven’t seen him in a few years and his health has gone from great to not in that time. But he was at least upbeat, so that is a good thing.

And not to ruin the holiday, I’ve laid off political news for a few days to not have to even think about it. Even staying away from some of it here. I guess it is a way to gear up for what is coming. Trump is, unfortunately, still going to be there after New Years, so I am not going to let it bother me now.

A bright and cheery Happy Christmas, Merry Hanukkah, Nice Weekend (as applicable) to everyone here.

I’ll be sort of in and out today as I’m prepping for Christmas Eve dinner for a few choice members of my friends and family. I’ll spend the afternoon doing the prep on and off, so almost everything will be ready before the guests arrive and I can actually eat the appetizers and chat with people rather than drinking wine alone in the kitchen while everyone else chats. (There is something to be said for being left alone in the kitchen with a bottle, but I can do that any time.)

“We are planning an armed protest in Whitefish,” Anglin wrote. “Montana has extremely liberal open carry laws, so my lawyer is telling me we can easily march through the center of the town carrying high-powered rifles. I myself am planning on being there to lead the protest, which has been dubbed ‘March on Whitefish.’”

According to Anglin, he claims he will be busing in “skinheads from the Bay Area,” adding, “Currently, my guys say we are going to be able to put together about 200 people to participate in the march, which will be against Jews, Jewish businesses and everyone who supports either.”

71 and sunny here at the beach. Not really helping my mood, which remains downbeat and despondent. I’m not much of a holiday person, so have declined to engage and am staying home and watching movies.

Still wake up each morning and need a few minutes to remember that the election is over and we actually elected the yam as president. I still find it incomprehensible.

Hope all of you celebrating however and whatever have a wonderful time, and I thank you all for maintaining some semblance of sanity as we try to deal with our country going mad.

One dysfunctional family Christmas tidbit?

I got a little package from my estranged mother [boy, is she estranged]. A set of postcards of the national parks. At first I was thinking…a hint to write once in a while? Nah, what I have to say to her must be put in an envelope. Then I checked to see if there was a note or a card with it. Nope. OK, I get it. It’s a joke. 12 cards, with no card! Hahahah!

So maybe that letter from Putin to Trump may have been more grooming of the Useful Idiot.

[Embedded content]

Trump is so easily impressed, it’s not hard to imagine the Kremlin — or their operatives in the USA — cooking up a congratulatory letter to “His Excellency” then waited for his inevitable self-congratulatory, gee-whiz tweets.

I’m also guessing their translators and foreign ministry people know that US presidents are not addressed as “his excellency.” They chose the words deliberately to impress Donnie.

No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.

They’re doing it there to avoid backlash…except if you know how they think, they didn’t think that through…

If they went into say, Borough Park in NYC, things would turn out differently and they’d get there asses handed to them, or they’d have to back down. Either way, they’d be “cucked” as they say.

By doing it there, where there’s almost no Jewish population, they basically “cuck” themselves beforehand and announce to the world that not only are they “cucks”, but they know it.

GODDAMMIT. I HATE UNDERSTANDING HOW THOSE FREAKS THINK! ANOTHER FUCKING REASON TO HATE THIS DUMPSTER FIRE OF A YEAR!

Not sure if it’s a hoax, but it is definitely a farce. They’re going because somebody hurt Nazi Richard Spencer’s feelings (or, I guess, more precisely his mother’s) for criticizing mom for letting Nazi sonnyboy run his biz from her property.
