Right Wingers Seize on Horrific Torture Story to Smear Black Lives Matter

These are the people who complain about being labeled “fake news”
Crime • Views: 53,431

In a terrible story from Chicago, four African Americans are now in custody for allegedly kidnapped a mentally disabled man and torturing him, broadcasting it live on Facebook.

Right wing blogs and Twitter demagogues immediately seized on the story, of course, doing their best to spread the absolutely false meme that the perpetrators are connected to Black Lives Matter, using the hashtag #BLMKidnapping. In the half-hour video, none of the suspects mention Black Lives Matter, and BLMChicago tweeted a condemnation and disavowal after the smears started.

Note that the right wingers spreading this disgusting (and racist) fake story are the exact same people who pitched a gigantic fit about the accusations that they regularly circulate fake news, throwing the label at every major news site (and at LGF too!). But here they are, right back at the fake news game at the first opportunity.

Two of the most vicious and relentless purveyors of the #BLMKidnapping lies are Alex Jones crony and chemtrails aficionado Paul Joseph Watson and mouth-breathing rape apologist Mike Cernovich. Notice that Cernovich is yelling about “fake news” in the same tweets that push this fake story. These are truly two of the worst people on the Internet.

The story now has a life of its own because it reflects a tenet of RWNJ belief: that Whites have to actively and preemptively defend themselves against genocide.

And those four are going to be spending years in prison. Unlike the white cops who are almost never charged and when they are, are routinely acquitted.

You know, it’s rather appropriate that this story comes out about the same time that Dylan Roof is in the midst of his sentencing hearing. The reason I say that is when the shooting initially happened and he was identified as the chief suspect, I got 31 flavors of denial that the incident had anything at all to do with race. It had to do with drugs, it had to do with mental illness, it had to do with religion (some thought he was a close Muslim), but every white person I knew swore it had nothing to do with race.

Even when the pictures came out of his Confederate flag license plate vanity and his jacket with the flags of apartheid South Africa and Rhodesia on it, they insisted race wasn’t to blame. When a survivor relayed his words about shooting up a black church was because “they do things and get away with it,” I was told race wasn’t a factor. And when his internet ramblings came out, being a cornucopia of lunacy about blacks, it wasn’t a sign that the case had anything to do with race.

But this case comes out and nobody can find a single shred of evidence that the four involved were members of, supporters of, or even followers of the BLM…but every white wingnut out there is sure it’s evidence that BLM approved of if not orchestrated this hate crime.

But please, Bernie, tell me again how the problem in America is “identity politics.”

And those four are going to be spending years in prison. Unlike the white cops who are almost never charged and when they are, are routinely acquitted.

Don’t forget this nasty little incident:

When a teammate held out his arms after football practice in their high school locker room, the student thought he was about to get a hug.

Instead, he was viciously assaulted, authorities say.

As the teammate restrained the victim, another football player allegedly thrust a coat hanger into the victim’s rectum, according to a criminal complaint. Then a third teammate kicked the coat hanger several times.

The Oct. 23, 2015, incident has rocked the tiny town of Dietrich, Idaho. This spring, after several months of investigation, the state attorney general’s office filed sexual assault charges against the three. Two of the teenagers are being charged as adults and could face life in prison, under Idaho law.

Oh…by the way…the victim was black and mentally handicapped and the rest of the football team were all white.

It gets worse.

In addition to Dietrich High School, the lawsuit also names 11 employees as defendants. It claims school administrators and coaches did nothing to stop the racial and physical abuse toward the victim, who was especially vulnerable due to “mental disorders including learning disabilities.”

The suit claims that Dietrich football coaches encouraged other players to fight the victim, allowing a much larger student to knock him unconscious as other students shouted “catcalls, taunts and racial epithets.”

And worse…

Against the allegation of widespread racial abuse at Dietrich, one individual stands out: John R.K. Howard.

Howard, 18, is one of the three accused. He is charged as an adult with one count of forcible penetration by use of force or a foreign object, according to the criminal complaint. Howard, who is finishing high school in Texas, has a preliminary hearing set for June 10 and has not yet entered a plea.

The civil suit paints Howard as the ringleader of the racist abuse against the victim, who was adopted at age 4 by white parents living in the predominantly white town of 334 people.

“Mr. Howard is a large and aggressive male who had been sent to live with his relatives in Idaho due to his inability to keep out of trouble in Texas,” the lawsuit says. “Mr. Howard is a relative of prominent individuals in the community and, at least in part due to his athletic ability and community connections, the Defendants ignored or were deliberately indifferent to the behavior of Mr. Howard which included aggression, taunting and bullying of The Plaintiff and other students in the District. With deliberate indifference, the Defendants did nothing to curb the vicious acts of Mr. Howard who brought with him from Texas a culture of racial hatred towards the Plaintiff.”

But wait a minute! There was something in the news about Mr Howard just a few days ago…just before Christmas, actually!!!!

Idaho’s Twin Falls Times-News reported John R.K. Howard, 19, entered an Alford plea Friday in a Twin Falls courtroom to a reduced charge of injury to a child. In an Alford plea, the defendant does not admit guilt but acknowledges prosecutors have enough evidence for a conviction.

A former Dietrich High School football player, Howard was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage victim, who was not identified, with a coat hanger while others participated or watched. The teen, according to court documents obtained by The Washington Post, has “mental disorders including learning disabilities.”

Howard will serve two to three years of probation as part of the agreement. He will not have to register as a sex offender and can have his conviction dismissed upon successful completion of the terms of his probation. A judge is expected to accept the agreement when he sentences Howard on Feb. 24.

During Friday’s court proceeding, Hemmer reportedly called Howard’s behavior “egregious” and acknowledged it caused the victim “a lot of suffering,” but said it did not amount to a sex crime.

White, habitually violent football player rapes disabled black teammate… 2 years probation ad no sex crime status.

I’ve already started on Ahriman, and he’s turning out pretty well. I also picked up the 30k Chaplain and going to use him as a Dark Apostle of Tzeentch for the CAD.

I scratchbuilt 4 Deimos turrets for current mod Predators from a couple of old plastic Christmas ornaments. Cut them in half, sanded the bottom until I had it at the right size and then built the gun mantlet and rear structure with plasticard. I used PVC tubing for the autocannon barrels and some other stuff to build a conversion beamer on 2 of the turrets.

I may make a couple more, but they are a real pain in the ass and take a lot of time.

Also, if you’re going to get more into the 30k armor, check out Ebay for the models. People have been buying the big $150 boxed sets, then selling off the sprues. GW sells the 10 man squad in box for $50, but you can find them on Ebay for around $25. Picked up the Chaplain for $5 by himself when he normally sells as part of a $60.

Did that already :) Extra Contemptor dreads…you name it.

Meanwhile, in state after state after state, it turns out that the taxes collected from rural areas don’t even cover their expenses, so that what actually happens is we metro dwellers pay for rural roads, schools, libraries, policing, etc.

The NYC metro area by itself is one of the world’s largest economies - forget nation’s largest economy. NYC’s economy by itself generates just a bit less than all of Canada.

NYC sends far more to Albany than it ever gets back, but when upstate complains about not getting sufficient funding, NYC always gets the shaft because they don’t get anything approaching parity in return.

The federal budget is like that writ large. CA and NY and NJ are net losers of federal payments and receipts. Large swaths of GOP dominated states are treading water (and able to maintain lower tax rates for their state residents) because they’ve got the federal payments from NY and CA to more than make up the difference.

An objective reading of the Bible. Aw fuckit. People are constantly pleading with Him to be merciful and he goes ahead and obliterates and destroys people who don’t follow Him to the letter. When people do follow Him, he’s useful to smite everyone who opposes His chosen people, and then He finally tires of the whole thing, and His chosen people get screwed royally, and their kin thrown to the four corners of the known world.

The objective reading is that He is vengeful, angry, and prone to outbursts if you don’t do things precisely the way he wants. He’s the original OCD subject, with unlimited powers.

Even as a young kid, the story of Abraham and Isaac made me wonder what kind of fucked up religion I was in.

Thenwhen they got to to celebrating the various martyrdoms: inverted crucifixion, being skinned alive, burnt alive, eaten by wild animals or shot full of arrows and I really wondered what kind of sick people were into that sort of stuff, and why they found it necessary to teach it to children.

I know California is the same way. When I first started seeing these ‘Federal taxes paid/spending received’ things for states, I also found one for California. Exactly the same story - rural counties pay way less in taxes than they get in spending because 1) they’re poorer, and 2) nobody lives there. I also just saw something from Minnesota - the Twin Cities provide most of the taxes and get far less of the spending. I’d bet most states are that way.

The delusion that your hard work is paying for liberals to stay at home in the lap of luxury is so deep that, if you remember, after Romney’s “47% pay no taxes!” tape came out, there was a big Twitter hashtag - “I Am The 53%” - which was FULL of people who almost certainly had no Federal Income Tax liability, but still thought they were the ones paying all the taxes!

Thenwhen they got to to celebrating the various martyrdoms: inverted crucifixion, being skinned alive, burnt alive, eaten by wild animals or shot full of arrows and I really wondered what kind of sick people were into that sort of stuff, and why they found it necessary to teach it to children.

Yeah, but you’re actually looking at facts and figures that relate to the logistics of money flow.

The “urban areas take all our money” bit is entirely about mountebankery. It pushes together affluent suburbanites and rural people and tells them they’ve been stabbed in the back, which is more emotional satisfying than a cold equation that (1) the layers of low taxation at city, county, and state levels means the budget isn’t being met, even in places where the relatively affluent have decamped to small towns; (2) agricultural regions have infrastructure higher than the population of a rural region can sustain; (3) if tax money’s being stolen, it’s being stolen by back-room politics on the local level.

This thread exists because somebody else created a false narrative to exploit a terrible crime, and the only weapon we have to fight that is to point out the fabrication.

There’s no “defending” of the perps going on, there’s not even anybody trying to contextualize their actions as a form of mitigation.

I mean, has the gamesmanship of politics reached the point where we have to pick what lies we let slide? Where’s the “win” of ignoring the deliberate set-up of BLM?

The people complaining about “identity politics” have made a career out of “identity politics.” It was started by the GOP as the cultural wars 40 years ago. The GOP are of course losing the cultural wars so they switched the narrative to make it seem as if the Democrats are the only ones that care about such matters and they are the party of the working people. Its all one big scam. White identity politics is fine, but if you point out racism, sexism and homophobia you’re identity politics is political correctness oppression.

OK, that’s it…I’m seriously drinking now…

An analogy with the start of the Civil War… the thing that got slaveholders upset wasn’t that their slaves were all going to be released (they weren’t, in 1860), but rather the concept there wasn’t going to be slavery everywhere, all the time. Their property rights were so important that they had to override everything else, as now some people believe gun carrying rights ought to override all other considerations.
