CPAC Bails on Milo Yiannopoulos for Pedophilia Comments, and Breitbart “News” May Fire Him
Well, the other shoe dropped today. The guy in charge of right wing hatefest CPAC spent most of yesterday defending Milo Yiannopoulos:
@mschlapp they can hear his point of view on the internet. No reason to promote it by giving him a platform.

Fair point Alan but what is happening in colleges is terrible and we want to highlight the fight even w a speaker we don’t always agree with https://t.co/ZeKxpaMAb3

The “we’re doing it for free speech” argument convinces no one. https://t.co/wEj5R1Mo3I

Jonah 1st amendment is dead on campus. Conservatives should fight back. As radioactive as milo is he is fighting back. https://t.co/grkdlGNBt3

But today Matt Schlapp is suddenly singing a very different tune.
“@ACUConservative has decided to rescind the invitation of Milo Yiannopoulos to speak at #CPAC2017.” pic.twitter.com/sVWGnPCW7C

And Yiannopoulos’ trouble doesn’t end there. According to Fox Business correspondent Charles Gasparino, Breitbart “News” may also sack the alt-right demagogue.
#BreakingNews : @BreitbartNews weighing dismissal of Milo Yiannopoulos announcement could come soon no comment from Milo

I’m having great fun imagining the hysterical shrieking from the right wing universe if Breitbart fires Yiannopoulos. But make no mistake, if they do it will be for PR reasons, not because they had a sudden attack of ethics.
