I think that is Trump’s actual speech.

It was hard to listen to even with another guy’s voice.

“I’m cutting the price of airplanes, army tanks, submarines”

WTF is he selling off all the military equipment? To Russia, probs.

He thinks his amazing negotiating skills will magically make things cheaper for the government to purchase. Remember his tweet about his stupid wall?

That said, I’m not sure what we could do to North Korea. About the only nation that has any significant pull with North Korea is China.

On the doctor front with my wife, it was a battle to get to town and back with a Smart car … a couple hours for a twenty-minute visit. By the time we got home we were ploughing snow with the front of our car … I’m guessing we won’t be going anywhere for a couple days.

Well, let’s be fair. Use of VX nerve agent in public takes a fairly hefty pair of cojones. Not least of which because it signals to the world that you actually have the shit, which could bring down all sorts of hell wrath on your head if anyone gives enough of a shit to come after you for it. That being said, Charles’s point is most valid.

Sometimes they admit it when they talk about pissing off liberals. I don’t favor the policies I do because they piss off conservatives, I think they’re what’s best for the country and it honestly frustrates me that many conservatives can’t see why they’re good policies i.e. the Fiduciary Rule I’ve written about for work or Obama’s overtime EO.

Right — what Furby (and Bannon and Miller) want is to knock everything down so they can create their Thousand-Year Reich. Trump and a lot of money Republicans figure no law means they can heist all the money and property they want, with no one able to stop them.

They never stop to think that anarchy works both ways.

Yeah, there’s a reason why I stopped following my one wingnut friend. My cousin doesn’t posted as much shit that often but he posts the same unintelligent crap. And he has the nerve to claim liberals didn’t listen to conservatives in the Obama years. Did you see the Obama cabinet, dude? DId you see that Obama’s health care plan was actually the conservative response to Clintoncare? He’s not a bad guy but as I said, he really needs to stop posting stupid right wing memes and think for himself.

So, people are pulling their kids out of school and not going to work because they’re living in fear. All of which is so helpful to the Mississippi economy.

WalletHub’s “2016 State’s with Best and Worse Economies” report ranked Mississippi 51st in overall, due to the state’s low GDP, low median annual household income and high unemployment rate. Mississippi’s GDP declined by more than 1 percent in 2015, and 22.6 percent of residents live below the poverty level

I’m eyeing a really gorgeous yarn cake on Etsy that does gradiated shades of blue and is perfect for a starburst-style shawl and I’m trying really hard to resist. REALLY HARD.

Did you know that you can dye cool color gradations by knitting your yarn up into a “blank” (a rectangle,) painting the dyes on, and then unraveling the knitting and making the yarn up into whatever? Obviously a knitting machine is very useful for this. I have dyes and a knitting machine that will handle finer yarns, if you’re ever interested…

and of course:

That’s actually kind of unusual for us. The last few years, the 4th of July has been north of 90 degrees. The last time I went to the parade with the Mrs. Fish’s family, I believe it was near to 100.

This was back around 1990 or so.

North Norway?

South Norway. Minnesota is between 43° 30′ N to 49° 23′ N. Oslo is 59°57′N 10°45′E.

Americans often forget how far south most of the US is — New York is at more or less the same latitude as Madrid.
