Breitbart Propagandists Told to Stop Bashing Jared Kushner

Right wing media corruption at its finest
Politics • Views: 37,740

You may have heard about the purported “feud” going on between Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and crapulent alt-right gin blossom host Stephen Bannon, and about Trump supposedly telling them to sit down and work it out. I’m a little skeptical about this story; it smells of the kind of kayfabe Trump is famous for.

Be that as it may, we now have a report from Business Insider that someone instructed Bannon’s former hate site, Breitbart “News,” to stop bashing Jared Kushner. Which they were doing until then, in their usual vicious manner.

In case you needed any more evidence that Breitbart “News” is a Bizarro World right wing propaganda outlet, about as far from “news” as it’s possible to get.

Bannon resigned from Breitbart News in November and has insisted he no longer has any editorial involvement with the website.

However, a person familiar with the matter told Business Insider in March that Bannon at the time had instructed Matthew Boyle, the website’s Washington editor, to stop publishing articles critical of Priebus, who reports said had been feuding with Bannon. Alex Marlow, the website’s editor-in-chief, also told NBC News in March that Bannon reaches out to him “every so often.”

This is why Trump approves of Breitbart — because they’re totally at his beck and call.

Is that one of those things that just flows on the first writing, or did you have to work at it?

What continues to stick in my mind is the report that he threatened to resign if removed from the NSC. That he’s since been removed yet remains means either the report was in error…or Steve’s recognized that his days as Grima Wormtongue are over.

Bannon isn’t tied to Breitbart? Ok.

Kushner still owns his paper?

A few papers already love Trump. And Fox News does too.

Pardon me for being paranoid.

Honestly, I suspect that Bannon is falling victim to the tendency of Trump to distance himself from anybody he ceases to see as an asset. Mattis and McMaster are quickly taking the role that Bannon used to play, coinciding with Trump’s sudden interest in foreign policy over domestic policy. And the DoD seems to be cultivating Jared as an asset, as they realize he serves as a direct line to Comrade Combover that bypasses Bannon and Prius. And Bannon’s fall in status also coincides with Trump’s dropping all his campaign promises to be an “outsider” to work with the GOP to get legislation passed.

Bannon’s pretty much at the “I have full faith in him” status with Trump. Which means he’ll be gone before year’s end.

I made the prediction that Bannon would be gone by this week’s end in the Friday news dump.

I’m sticking too it. I think my chances are still pretty good. It all depends on how much Trump seems to be ignoring him during the week. The more he is ignored the more he might lash out and either resign or cause Trump to dump him.
