This is just a classic for the Trump era.

Neo-Nazi dirtbag Matthew Heimbach is now joining the other Trump supporter accused of assaulting a group of protesters at Trump’s Louisville rally last year, and filing a suit against our so-called president claiming Trump incited the violence and is liable for any damages resulting from the protesters’ lawsuit.

A white nationalist leader accused of assaulting a young African-American woman at a Donald Trump campaign rally filed a countersuit on Monday claiming the president directed him and other supporters to remove protesters.

Matthew Heimbach claims in his federal court filing that he “acted pursuant to the directives and requests of Donald J. Trump and Donald J. Trump for President” and that, if he’s found liable for damages, “any liability must be shifted to one or both of them.”

The legal fight stems from a March 2016 rally in Louisville, Kentucky, at which protesters were allegedly roughed up and ejected by Trump supporters after the then-candidate barked from the stage “get ’em out of here!”

The protesters filed civil assault and battery claims against Heimbach and two other Trump supporters and accused Trump of inciting his supporters.

Technically, this isn’t abandoning Trump. These fucknuts think Trump should cover the legal costs they’ve incurred and any potential damages for assaulting some people at Trump rallies at Trump’s behest.

Whether it’s Trump blaming Obama, GOP blaming Democrats for Trumpcare/GOPDontCare failing, or individual legislators or governors finding someone else to blame when they engage in infidelities or are caught engaging in criminality.

It’s never about them. It’s always someone else.

Here? It’s not my fault I decided to beat down someone else. I know it was wrong, but Trump said it was okay, and I did it anyways.

I once stayed overnight in Wendover UT, having gotten there in the first day of driving from San Francisco to PA. I woke up at 8 in UT, and asked the desk clerk where we could get breakfast. He said, the Casinos back across the border in NV. So, we went and had breakfast half an hour before we woke up, then set out at just the time we woke up, but were almost immediately an hour behind.

My wife and I stayed in Wendover during our trip to California. There was a pretty good restaurant about a block from the state line (I cannot remember the name now).

That would sound like a verbal contract to me (particularly since there are recordings of him saying it).

Just caught this on Keith Olbermann’s daily commentary.
If I’m hearing this correctly, it appears that the British intelligence investigation into Donald Trump and his involvement with Russia’s interference with the 2016 election, they very well may have an audio recording with Trump himself coordinating with the Russians. If true, this is the proverbial ‘smoking gun’.

A 76-year-old man in Oregon died peacefully after being told that the President Donald Trump had been impeached.

An obituary for Michael Garland Elliott published in The Oregonian claims the man passed away peacefully on April 6 after his ex-wife told him the white lie.

“Mike ran out of family long ago and is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Teresa Elliott. Though their marriage ran aground, their friendship only grew stronger and hers was the last voice Mike hear,” the obituary states.

“And the last thing she said to him was ‘Donald Trump has been impeached.’ Upon hearing that he took his final, gentle breath, his earthly work concluded. Mike will be forever missed but never forgotten.”

Cheyenne uses roundabouts, but the islands are so tiny they are like making a circle around a traffic sign. The tend to foul up traffic more than a four-way stop would.

Cheyenne uses roundabouts, but the islands are so tiny they are like making a circle around a traffic sign. The tend to foul up traffic more than a four-way stop would.

Besides the big city roundabouts, a number of the town squares in small towns around here are set up now as roundabouts. Works well.

In my country, there’s only a handful of intersections that have stop lights, and they’re the biggest PITA intersections in the county. Plans are in place to replace them soon, it’s all about funding.

I remember when they got rid of the four way stop in Vail when I was a kid, the first roundabouts in the county. The construction of the roundabouts was an absolute mess, and a lot of people thought that they would fail simply because people wouldn’t understand how they’d work.

That was over 20 years ago, and since then dozens of roundabouts have been built in the county, one by one replacing stoplights.

Our roundabouts have actual land in the center, with landscaping and everything. Sounds like they’re doing it wrong in Cheyenne.

The video clip is just 10 seconds long, but it was enough to cause Cape May County Republicans to pull support from the candidate they had endorsed for Assembly in what was supposed to be one of the most competitive districts in the state.

“Let me tell you right now,” the candidate, Brian McDowell, said at a Wildwood bar, slurring his words, to a woman who’s barely in the frame. “You should fuck me. It would really be good. Listen, you never know.”

After the video circulated around South Jersey last week, Cape May County Republicans disavowed McDowell, saying on the party’s Facebook page that “issues and information have surfaced.”

But McDowell — a contestant on the third season of “The Apprentice” who also coordinated President Donald Trump’s campaign in Cape May County — has no plans to drop out of the race.

“There are human errors and even Jesus dropped the cross three times,” McDowell, a 41-year-old unmarried real estate broker, told POLITICO. “I’m not running to be the Pope. I’m running to make New Jersey more affordable.”

They do need to be designed properly. There’s a really nasty roundabout in Fernley, NV. It’s too small, traffic moves too fast and no one bothers to signal so there’s no way to know when to dart into the circle. Fortunately, I’m not often heading east on US 50 from Fernley, so it’s not a big problem in my life.

Land costs money. Wyoming is so right-wing I’m surprised they even pave their streets since that requires taxes.

I guarantee you no one in Wyoming is ever going to suggest a roundabout with a sufficiently-large island to be useful.

The roundabouts they have appear to exist because they are cheaper than stop signs.

When I drive through Cheyenne, I plan my trips specifically to avoid the roundabout intersections because they are so fouled up (and unmarked, because roadsigns also cost money).

Back in the day (before I-27) Lubbock had a notorious 5-way roundabout known simply as the South Avenue Q traffic circle. It was two lanes, and half of it was unpaved. One exit led to “the Strip,” the only sub-precinct in the county where alcohol sales were legal and which was consequently covered with liquor stores and nothing else.

Local fireman driving drunk hit it, flipped his truck & died, days after it was installed.

So, spent the weekend in Vegas at the Viva Las Vegas rockabilly weekender. It was a lot of fun. Got to see Wanda Jackson… she told a story about “going to the drive in with Elvis” then did Heartbreak Hotel, and then followed it up with You Know I’m No Good:

So to recap… #wandajackson told a story about “going to the drive in with” #elvis. She then sang #heartbreakhotel in Las Vegas. If that wasn’t enough, she followed it up with a cover of #amywinehouse #youknowimnogood. So yeah, this weekend has been pretty good #vlv #vivalasvegas

Other great and notable acts included: Freddy Cannon (who had Los Straitjackets backing him up), Sonny Burgess, James Intveld. I skipped Rev Horton Heat because he was playing at the car show, it was hot, my feet hurt, and I’d seen him perform before.

Also discovered some new artists that I like: Coral Lee, Luis & the Wildfires, Vickie Tafoya & The Big Beat.

Lastly, there was a tribute show for the lead singer of a band called the Hi Strung Ramblers, Carlos Gomez. He passed away about a year and a half ago, the victim of a motorcycle accident. He was my barber as well, good guy, and it was cool to see his band play, even if it wasn’t with him.

It’s going to be a long 4 years.

Even if - and it’s a big “if” given the Republicans in Congress have already stated they don’t plan on doing it - Trump is impeached, the fallout from this administration will go on for some time.

The election of Trump reinforces my belief that a large swath of America is deeply disconnected from reality, or want to be.

Because there were Republican candidates who were successful politicians and otherwise considered “serious”.

But the nomination and then election of Trump was a big “FU” by many Americans to their fellow Americans.

At least on my Facebook wall, the Trumpers are those who are resentful - resentful of us coastal types, resentful of professionals and those with graduate degrees, resentful all around.

So much is going to have to change, and it is going to be hard on many people.
