When Haters Fight: Chuck C. Johnson and Pax Dickinson Break Up, Wesearchr Scam Site Goes Dark

It’s always fun when very creepy people have a big fight and try to destroy each other
Wingnuts • Views: 57,299

Today’s news from the white supremacist universe inhabited by far right weirdos Chuck C. Johnson and Pax Dickinson: they are partners no more, and their extortion/scam/libel site Wesearchr is offline, perhaps for good.

Dickinson, who’s been banned from Twitter like his erstwhile pal Chuck, sneaked back in this morning to announce that Chuck had burned him after they received a 7-figure check for 6% of the Wesearchr company (which sounds like complete BS to me, but who knows? wingnut welfare is a real thing).

Since Dickinson’s Twitter account is probably going to disappear soon, here’s a screenshot of his tale. I especially love how he’s boasting about his “personal honor” after building one of the scummiest, ugliest websites on the Internet, a place that specialized in raising money to defend neo-Nazis.

UPDATE at 5/16/17 11:22:57 am by Charles Johnson

The racist Rage Furby has reacted to Dickinson already; Dickinson says he’s lying. This is getting good.

This is the quote from the Furby:

We intend to continue running the bounties for the foreseeable future. We’re going to fix [WeSearchr’s] hosting problem today or tomorrow. We ask for everyone to be patient with us during this process.

As for Pax Dickinson, he decided he was going to leave the company after we raised money. Then, he demanded an absurd severance agreement. How you can have a severance agreement from a company you co-founded, I don’t really understand. Regardless, I wish Pax well in his future endeavors.

Everyone’s money is safe, but if people want refunds due to the confusion surrounding all this, then I am happy to grant that.

Democrats should propose a concurrent resolution inviting Bibi to speak to Congress.

Trump’s already dancing on the edge, what with his admin’s comments about their visit to the Western Wall, whether Bibi can accompany them, and how they characterize Jerusalem.

Throwing Israel’s national security under the bus to show the Russians that he gets to play with intel is just an added bonus. /////

Reading between the lines yesterday, it was already apparent that the country whose asset was compromised was Israel.

So yeah, burning an asset that it probably took Mossad years to get into position in ISIS is not something that’s going to go over well. That spy is probably either dead or being tortured in hideous ways. Imagine what happens when that decapitation video hits the web … gleeful masked ISIS fighters making some guy confess to being a CIA spy, outed by Trump, right before they start yelling and sawing away.

If there was not already a movement afoot in the various alphabet agencies to get rid of Trump, I’m guessing there sure as hell is one now.

From the last thread:

re: #208 Belafon

I have googled my name for years, and have never gotten a hit for something other than what I have written. About two months ago, I got a friend request for a guy with the same name, who was born in the state my wife is from, Arkansas, and now lives in a town in Louisiana with the same name as my oldest child. He has five kids and looks to be about 10 years younger. I have not accepted.

So I googled myself for the lark, and the first three pages all come up with stuff about me (including my bad video playing hammered dulcimer in Little Rock on YouTube).

A newspaper article also appeared about me and my wife just a few days ago which I was unaware of. Link behind the privacy bar (because it gives my real name). Now I know why that guy called me (though I didn’t know he would give up my info to a reporter - he was referencing a diary I wrote at Daily Kos though Kos was not mentioned in the article).

No, they’re right. And that’s they crux of the problem. During his whole adult life he has always believed that, if he’s not specifically forbidden from doing something, then it is PERFECTLY OKAY to do that.

Hence, grabbing women by the pussy is okay, because ‘they let you do it’, because you’re a star.

Hence, bankruptcy is okay, because the law allows it.

Hence, rolling his investors’ business losses into his personal taxes to wipe out $1 Billion in later income is okay, because the law allows it. In this case, he even said, “If you didn’t want me to do it, you should have made it illegal.”

The thing is, we have very few legal limitations written into the laws to restrict Presidential action. We did this with the expectation that we would elect responsible adults and we didn’t want to excessively constrain their actions, trusting that they would use this latitude in a circumspect and responsible fashion.

Then 46% of the voter elected a narcissistic toddler with no impulse control President. Even before the inauguration, he declared that the President could not have a conflict of interest, because NO LAW prohibited him from doing things we all define as conflicted.

Oh, and at the same time, we elected a House and Senate so partisan and corrupt that they would let him get away with all this as long as he promised to cut taxes on the wealthiest.

Yeah, and to the average Trump voter, this still doesn’t really matter. Anything more complicated than pointing at a spot on the map and saying, “Bad guys here! They’re as stupid as he is. He is the Dunce King.

Best we can hope for is that they figure out how to effectively infantalize him and keep him away from anything serious. Impeachment ain’t gonna happen.

Even if we flip the house, there are 26 Dems to 7 GOP Senators up for election in ‘08. To get to 60 votes, we’d need a 12-seat flip, and that’s just not mathematically possible.

It’s not.

If it turns out to be true that it’s the Israelis that he burned…to blurt intel to the Russians….it will be the end. He will lose all air cover.

If that moron compromised a Mossad asset buried deeply into ISIS, it’s over.

Wait until ISIS releases one of their snuff videos regarding that. Then the shit’s really gonna hit the fan.

And we all know that ISIS damn well will release one of their sick vids.

My thoughts exactly. Mossad does not react too well when you piss them off. And this guy burned a valuable live asset. Loss of air cover and shared intel will be the least of his troubles.

Wouldn’t surprise me if there is a painful leak in the future.

I was just curious as to how the denizens of the fever swamp (Freeperville) were taking this and……….the site’s still down.

Maybe the latest griftathon didn’t pan out so well?

They were down yesterday, so out of idle curiosity I checked their Facebook page. It said there was a server problem and somebody had gone to San Jose (probably a two and a half hour drive from Fresno?) to look into it. Now, I’m no tech genius, but I have a phone and suspect that would be a far more efficient way to deal with it. Unless their server is housed in an otherwise empty building with no one to deal with it there, as opposed to having it, oh I don’t know, in Fresno.

Merrick Garland turned down the job when Mitch McConnell offered it to him as well.

a) Judge Garland isn’t stupid enough to tie himself to Trump, particularly since Trump might fire him after eating a bad chicken leg or something. Garland’s appointment is for life unless he is impeached or resigns.
b) Mitch McConnell could have then gotten Trump to appoint a partisan hack to the DC bench.

My favorite part of the story is Wheeler’s “clarification”:
EDITOR’S NOTE The day after this story was posted on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s website in July, Rod Wheeler issued a “clarification and apology,” in which he claimed that he had only “inadvertently stated” that lesbian gangs carry pink-painted pistols, that he hadn’t meant to say that there were 150 lesbian gangs in the Washington, D.C., area (he said he meant to say there were 150 gangs of all kinds in the area), that he hadn’t meant to say that there was a “national epidemic” of lesbian gangs, and that he hadn’t meant to defame the Pink Pistols group

That’s not a clarification, that’s a full retraction.

Came back after wondering all day what country could have been the source of the intel Agent Orange gave the Russians and suspecting it was probably Israel, and what do I see blasted all over the news if not that surprise surprise, it apparently WAS Israel all along.

They’ve started reporting this in a big way in Israeli media over the past hour. This is NOT a common thing by the way, as news items involving alleged Israeli intelligence are generally ignored locally or sometimes silenced in the media entirely due to Israel’s old censorship law (which kicks into effect when potentially news items involve materials that are deemed a direct threat to national security if published). In any case, the results are more damaging than I thought they would be - so far, comment sections in Israel’s leading news sites, which are bastions of right-wing support where tRump has been popular to date, are flooded with comments, ranging from the shocked to the absolutely furious (with the latter the common ones).
There’s been no comment so far from the local politicians who have been pro-tRump so far, probably because they have no freaking idea how to address this. Their supporters are enraged by this, and there’s no way that the chiefs of the IDF General Staff aren’t furious over this, along with all the heads of the Israeli intelligence agencies.
This is unprecedented, “unpresidented” and downright disastrous, for both sides.

re: #156 Dr. Matt

So a guy that worked at the DNC is murdered….and, what exactly does this have to do with Hillary and/or Bill?

Old conspiracy theory from last year. Background:
newsweek.com

And that was enough to fire up the right-wing Twitterverse with yet another round of Clinton conspiracy theories, this one claiming that Rich was murdered—at dawn—as he was on his way to sing to the FBI about damning internal DNC emails.

Such sinister notions might have evaporated had not Julian Assange hurled a thunderbolt into the affair a few weeks later. The WikiLeaks impresario, still penned up in Ecuador’s London embassy as he dodges a rape allegation in Sweden, announced he was offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in the Rich case. He hinted darkly that the slain man had been a source in his organization’s recent publication of 30,000 internal DNC emails. The fallout from that embarrassment had led to the firing of several top Democratic Party officials.

“What are you suggesting?” a startled interviewer from Dutch television asked him.

“I am suggesting,” Assange said, “that our sources, ah, take risks, and they, they become concerned to see things occurring like that.” His organization later “clarified” on Twitter that “this should not be taken to imply that Seth Rich was a source for WikiLeaks or to imply that his murder is connected to our publications.”

With near-100% certainly: nothing. Whatsofuckinever.

But as long as there’s the prospect even one pair of eyeballs going to watch/read/click on somebody’s channel/paper/website attracted by the lurid juxtaposition of “DNC”, “Murder” and “Clinton”, we’re never going to be rid of this shit…

The problem with 4Chan is that there’s no way to shut it down for trying to create a new Reich. They’ve been distributing child pornography for many, many years, yet remain online. It’s a site you go to by mistake once, then have to burn your PC, and claw out the part of your brain that stores visual memory. They’re the worst of us, and they love fascism.

The dynamic didn’t change much, but the public opinion changed, and badly; Most Israelis hold a grudge against Obama on account of the Iran deal, which they believe affects Israel in a bad manner (insofar as it is viewed as both a bad deal that gives the Iranian regime too much leeway and limits Israel’s ability to respond to a potential threat in the future). Obama is viewed by many if not most Israelis as someone who was good for the US internally, but bad for the rest of the world in general, and especially the Middle East, their corner of the world (due to the Iran deal, as well as Egyptian instability and perceived US “betrayal” of Mubarak, “mishandling” of Syria, ISIS and more).

Reading that WaPo article, I find it highly wanting.

Put simply - Trump didn’t declassify the material, he just revealed it.

If it was in fact declassified, then others today should be able to have access to it in context.

But we can’t.

Because technically it is still classified at the level it was.

re: #160 lawhawk

This is the kind of disaster for the Israeli intel community that will have lasting repercussions.

The Mossad is probably besides itself over the potential loss of a major asset. It means Israel’s take on IS is compromised permanently, and getting someone else into that position becomes ever more difficult.

And it definitely harms Trump’s war against Radical Islamic Terrorism aka the fight against IS.

At this time, we don’t know how significant an asset was effectively lost and from which organization. However, the magnitude of the potential damage comes down to the nature of just how lost this asset is (compromised but safe, captured, or killed) as well as what compromised the asset to begin with.
Any agency/military’s loss of an asset is always a factor that needs to be taken into account, regardless of who, what, where and how. There’s undoubtedly not an organization on the planet that hasn’t lost an asset on its behalf. This is hardly clandestine stuff, but common knowledge as well as common sense.
What sets this apart is WHY the asset may have been compromised - in a conflict, you generally know what things pose a risk to your people and take those things into account. Having to suddenly consider your largest ally itself as a new and unexpected risk to your people changes things - “bigly.” Given how quickly things change in the Middle Eastern arena, it’s too soon to talk about any damage being “permanent”. However, there’s no doubt that it’s harmful in the short term.
And it sure as hell doesn’t help President-Electoral Gropey McRoadkillhair’s so-called war against terrorism.

So, having spent my misspent youth living with a pseudo Donald Trump as a father, my antennae are telling me this is it. He’s mentally done.

He’s hitting critical mass on the pressure and the lack of control of the people around him, which is THE core thing that will set him off. Lack of loyalty, lack of control. He’s descending into severe paranoia and about to leave for a foreign trip. Where he has even less control and no familiar territory to retreat to. No way to escape. No golf. No controlled surroundings.

And no one believes his lies and the polls are coming out over and over showing his ratings dropping. He’s decomposing in front of the country.

Next? If he’s anything like my father it will be a very public, rage-filled meltdown where he turns on every person he ever thought he could trust.

This feels like the end, at least of his limited ability to function. How the Republicans respond to it, I don’t know. Some are starting to distance themselves. Most are playing duck and cover, hoping sanity will prevail and saying there needs to be a major shake-up at the White House.

They don’t understand it won’t matter who is next to him. This is how it will always end. And the level of ugly it will end with will make you sick to your stomach.

What if someone detained them, and the US went “President who?”

“Mr. Comey wrote the memo detailing his conversation with the president immediately after the meeting, which took place the day after Mr. Flynn resigned, according to two people who read the memo. The memo was part of a paper trail Mr. Comey created documenting what he perceived as the president’s improper efforts to influence an ongoing investigation. An F.B.I. agent’s contemporaneous notes are widely held up in court as credible evidence of conversations.”

Trump is doing lasting damage to the IC and relationships cultivated over decades of close coordination. He’s turned it all on its head in the span of a few months. The current situation shows the limitations of even competent IC at the mercy of a madman in the WH disrupting the chain of command and control over top secret information and how it is maintained.

There’s already reports that some European countries are going to stop sharing info with the US. That’s going to do serious and lasting harm to US and European national security.

I’d call it permanent damage, because there’s no way any intel asset will work in this environment knowing that someone like Trump could screw all of it away in a heartbeat. That means people who might otherwise have become assets wont.

MSNBC is just releasing new details on today’s breaking story.

Comey kept a detailed paper trail of his dealings with Trump. He has notes on Trump asking him to drop the Flynn investigation. Comey says he wants to go public. Supposedly Sessions and his deputy Rothenstein (sp?) were in the meeting and asked to leave before Trump asked for the investigations to stop. Pretty clear Trump knows himself he was up to no good.

The old slave master mentality, keep those below you in their place, still permeates the south. It is the real reason for the obnoxious but ineffectual defiance, “yahoo madness,” that is so much a part of redneck life. They’ll drive drunk, run redlights, and gang up to attack gays, but they would never tell their boss or the local banker to fuck off. They are slaves, too, and they are trying desperately to convince themselves that they are not. Conversely, a redneck business owner will think he is privileged to curse, insult, assault, and lie to employees or suppliers, “keeps ‘em in they place,” but it never occurs to him that one of them might shoot him or run a shiv into his belly. They bitch a lot about the loss of “respect,” and the crime rate, though.

Thursday: Trump admits team’s spin is shit, obviously, and that he fired Comey for the Russia thing.
Friday: Comey turns down Senate invitation to testify in secret so the public isn’t offended by anything he has to say.
Sunday: Mother’s day. Trump goes golfing…by himself.
Monday: We learn Trump gave Russians classified info.
Tuesday: Comey starts going public with notes about Trump asking him to not investigate Flynn.

Hell of a week, eh?

This isn’t granular enough. There was a big story just YESTERDAY MORNING that I can’t even remember, because the ‘blabbing to Russia’ story overtook it.

Then this morning, the big story was Trump making McMaster look like a fool for saying ‘it never happened’, followed by McMaster’s presser where he said it didn’t happen while confirming EVERY SINGLE DETAIL, right around the time we learned that it was Israel’s top secret intel.

THEN, after lunch, the Comey thing comes out.

I wonder what else is coming out tonight?

“can” in the sense of there being enough legal grounds to commence impeachment proceedings, yes, that has been the case since he took office.

“can” in the sense of being able to do so, given a GOP majority in Congress to actually open proceedings, is a different story

We recently were able to hire Robyn back part-time for weekends, so mama can take a day off a week, because mama was GOING TO DIE and because too much goddamn news is happening on weekends, and I DIDN’T WANT TO WRITE IT.

My only visit to DC was during that renovation! In that station! I was taking a train from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh, and there was a track outage that sent us south. I saw the best parts of 5 states I had never seen. When we got to Union Station, I was almost literally struck by the humidity when I stepped off the train. My ‘sightseeing’ consisted of spotting a little, tiny Washington Monument in the distance. I think it was a one hour layover.

re: #66 Khal Wimpo (wounded at Bowling Green)

A LTTE in my local free fishwrap/RW-agitprop-posing-as-independent (The San Mateo Daily Journal, if anyone cares) boils down to exactly that: “Shuddup no one cares about Russia we elected Trump cuz him am shake up the norm.”

So Russia may or may not have tried to influence the Presidential election. Does it really matter? Do we really think they did anything different than what the political parties tried to do to each other. Unless they had their hands in the ballot box, who cares?

But hey, why worry about immigration problems, trade deficits, a failing education system, the outsourcing of jobs, a crumbling infrastructure, resolving distant wars, or finding a way to provide health care to all when you have Russia to talk about.

This is just another political diversion to give the parties something to snipe at each other. Donald Trump did not get elected because people thought he was brilliant or a great orator. He was elected because of the voter’s frustration with the political status quo — their inability to debate real issues and move the country forward. If the Democrats want to assure four more years of The Donald just keep talking about Russia.
