Rick Wiles Calls On Trump To Pardon Joe Arpaio And Place Him In Charge Of DHS

Yesterday, Joe Arpaio was found guilty of criminal contempt of court for defying court orders instructing his department to stop engaging in racial profiling back when he served as sheriff of Maricopa County, Arizona. In 2011, courts had ordered Arpaio’s department to cease its practice of detaining Latinos simply on the suspicion that they were in the country illegally, but Arpaio refused and now he faces the possibility of serving six months in prison.

That development is not sitting well with End Times radio broadcaster Rick Wiles, who used his program yesterday to call on President Trump to not only pardon Arpaio, but to also to place him in charge of the Department of Homeland Security.

“I have an idea,” Wiles said. “In addition to giving him a presidential pardon … President Trump, if you want to stand for justice and do something to strike against the deep state, please nominate Sheriff Arpaio to be the next secretary of Homeland Security.”

Wiles is probably the most slavishly pro-Russian of the various RWNJ hate preachers.

This level of lily-whiteness is what happens when Republicans stop pretending that they aren’t white supremacists.

But a White House internship for this administration seems like it would kill more brain cells than years of heavy drinking, partying and drug use. So this does not seem to be a good way way to advance the cause of white supremacy.

Condensing some info from the last thread:

The Trump administration is preparing to redirect resources of the Justice Department’s civil rights division toward investigating and suing universities over affirmative action admissions policies deemed to discriminate against white applicants, according to a document obtained by The New York Times.

The Justice Department’s New Civil Rights Chief Has Defended States Accused of Racial Gerrymandering. John Gore also helped defend a voting list purge in Florida.

He also suggested that the project would look for stark gaps in test scores and dropout rates among different racial cohorts within student bodies, which he said would be evidence suggesting that admissions offices were putting too great an emphasis on applicants’ race and crossing the line the Supreme Court has drawn.

Some of that data, he added, could be available through the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights.

The new acting head of the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights once complained that she experienced discrimination because she is white.

Although her limited background in civil rights law makes it difficult to infer her positions on specific issues, Jackson’s writings during and after college suggest she’s likely to steer one of the Education Department’s most important — and controversial — branches in a different direction than her predecessors. A longtime anti-Clinton activist and an outspoken conservative-turned-libertarian, she has denounced feminism and race-based preferences. She’s also written favorably about, and helped edit a book by, an economist who decried both compulsory education and the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964.

That Sessions would announce this only means one thing: he’s digging in his evil elf shoes and refusing to resign.

If Trump really wants Sessions out of the position (i.e., so as to fire Mueller), he’s going to have to ratchet up the rhetoric to the point where Sessions is absolutely undermined and can’t do anything.

Then again… Trump’s not openly assailed Sessions since that series of outbursts last week.

Plus, baseball diamonds are not uniform. They’re all built differently with weird twists. Fenway Park (where this catch took place at) is one of the oldest surviving ballparks, and it has features not found anywhere else. The WSJ transcript of their Fuckface Von Clownstick interview released by Politico is just mind-numbing.

BAKER: What are you most proud of in the first six months?

TRUMP: A lot of things. I think I’m proud of the Supreme Court choice. And that’s not just a nomination, that’s getting him through. I’m very proud of opening up regulations. One of the reasons you see optimism is because people can actually use their land. They can farm their land. I’ve had tremendous and tremendous — look, I had 45,000 people there yesterday. It’s the biggest crowd they’ve ever had, and they were — they were going wild yesterday in West Virginia. But people can actually use their land and they can build.

And I think one of the things that I have to be very proud of is the VA. I think we have a great, great administrator, OK -

Saw that, could be the reason, just seems strange to me coming from any kind of football (American, Soccer, etc) where even a wee bit outside is like being a wee bit pregnant.

In this case ‘a wee bit outside’ would have been a home run so the fielder had every right to reach high for the ball. It’s what he’s paid to do. To go with your ‘pregnancy’ example, the guy who caught the ball was a rubber. Pregnancy prevented!

There are far more than “Two Americas”, I am convinced.

Looking at what shows up on my Facebook wall, some by relatives, and I wonder what has to go through people’s minds when they promote the most idiotic of things.

Really idiotic.

There is a cognitive failure going on here, I think, and not on my part.

It’s hard, probably impossible, to get inside another person’s head. I can’t really think like anyone else than myself.

I conclude that some people are just dull, or malicious. Or both.

It sounds snobby. Maybe it is. But it’s the only conclusion that makes sense.

Car Thief is the other Republican. He’ll be glad to go along with Trump, but he knows he won his district by a very small margin last time, so maybe he’ll try some sort of cover-your-bases approach and say nothing.

Nevertheless, even the DHS has to follow the law, and any body can sue to prevent them from ignoring the law.

The question is - Trump pretty much is signalling that he’s going to start not following the law.

Maybe my understanding of the law is off, but if the contractor starts building in defiance of the courts, wouldn’t that open them up to lawsuits? If that’s the case, no company would do Trump’s bidding if it means being sued into oblivion.

I’m sort of expecting the budget thing to be the camel that breaks straws, or something like that.

When the Republicans in Congress find that Trump is going to make a mess of their carefully laid plans, I suspect that a lot of frustration is going to come to the surface.

And the complexities of the budgeting process is just beyond Trump. As such, he’ll ignore it and go golfing, so he’s going to be AWOL when the Senators are trying to negotiate among themselves.

The mess will end in a continuing budget resolution, which will become bogged down in amendments.

This then will bring about the “shut down the government” move… but those things always backfire.

When I was a kid, I still remember when WAMO in Pittsburgh played the entire James Brown Live At The Apollo in their record rotation and people would call the DJ’s asking for the entire album!

Now I do not remember any other album constantly being played from beginning to end with no interruptions. And this went on for years in the 60’s!

I am quite certain that the administration will enforce strict fairness in college admissions - grades and test scores only. Because they would never be such hypocrites as to give children of alumni any unfair advantage. Pure meritocracy around here.

The Ivy League tried that for awhile, back in the 1920’s. They ended up with a student body that was a lot more Jewish than they were comfortable with. That’s why they changed admissions criteria to emphasize “well-rounded” applicants — visiting the best European museums was good, sailing and golf and other WASPy hobbies, recommendations from alumni donors, etc.
