Video: Donald Trump Mocks the Spanish Pronunciation of “Puerto Rico”

Har de har har

It’s hard to believe, but this narcissistic loon actually went on camera today and made fun of the proper Spanish pronunciation of “Puerto Rico,” twice, and then deliberately mispronounced it to proudly display his ignorance.

This is the president of the United States. What can you even say at this point?

It’s inevitable that late-night comedians who have become increasingly partisan in the President Trump era would earn the ire of conservatives, one of whom took his complaint to the streets early Thursday morning. His target: Jimmy Kimmel. […]

Sabo has been chastising liberal Hollywood for years with his street art. His unsavoryagents.com website includes degrading images of Cher, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jon Stewart, Gwyneth Paltrow and more.

“We allow Jimmy Kimmel into our homes because at one point we considered him to be entertaining,” said Sabo. “Now he’s nothing more than a talking head for the Democrat party.”

Calling a man a crybaby for being moved to tears over the largest mass shooting in U.S. history that happened in his hometown no less. Don’t you have a paper cup to get triggered by, Mr. Sabo? Oh and he’s allowed to say whatever the hell he wants on his show. And from what I see his ratings are doing fine.

Phoenix man turns in weapons after Las Vegas, rewarded with threats to self and family

After the tragedy in Las Vegas, 36-year-old Jonathan Pring of Phoenix, a British native, decided he didn’t want to live with two guns in the house any longer—a Walther PK3870 handgun and a Ruger 10/22 rifle. Pring, who owns a local coffeeshop, said he enjoys shooting at the firing range, but after 58 people were murdered in Vegas he didn’t want weapons in the house anymore.

I haven’t touched a gun since Vietnam, so I say good on you Mr. Pring, but the mistake he made—perhaps thinking he might inspire others—was to post his decision on Facebook.

On Tuesday, he called the Phoenix Police Department and voluntarily handed over his guns, documenting the moment with a series of photos on Facebook and a heartfelt message…. “I hope my actions inspire others. If we can achieve a safer world for our children, we will have done a good thing,” Pring wrote.

And how do you suppose that went? If you guessed that others praised his decision and decided to turn in their own weapons to “achieve a safer world,” you chose poorly. Instead, his Facebook post generated “a torrent of online abuse, threats, and harassment from gun owners and right-wing fanatics who populate the social network.”

Gun owners not only made fun of Pring’s decision, they openly called for his assassination:

“Someone needs to go shoot this idiot and make him wish he could have defended himself,” Brandee L. Harris wrote, her profile photo set to a “Pray for Las Vegas” flag filter.

I have a Lebanese friend of mine (he’s a Shi’ite who supports Trump and regurgitates right-wing propaganda while agreeing with me whenever I mock Islamophobes, it’s weird but whatever) use the same talking about Chicago and said it was a warzone.

My response? “Soooo Chicago is like Beirut circa 1985? Does Willis Tower resemble the bullet-ridden and bombed out Holiday Inn?”

His retort: “Beirut is much more safer than Chicago man”

I said: “Right, let me know when Chicago suffers a suicide bombing or two like Beirut has due to being in a hostile neighborhood and you might have a point.”

Him? He posted murder statistics to prove that Chicago is safer than Beirut despite Beirut being struck by suicide bombings.

He frustrates me a lot of times, but he’s still a good guy at heart so I’d rather be civil with him.

What’s fucked up is that Chicago isn’t even close to having the highest murder rate in ths country but it’s also Obama and HRC’s home so wingnuts love to use it to go “whatabout” following things like Vegas to dismiss liberal arguments for saner gun laws. My favorite part though was that dumbass assertng that “no one in the media” is talking about Chicago when Chicago is right wing media’s favorite go back target.

Goddammit, I share the video of Trump’s pronunciation of Puerto Rico and I get this comment on my FB:

No he is not. This is just how a partisan interprets a video clip of someone they hate. Puerto Ricans saw the real trump when I met him in person and their views have changed btw. A lot anyway. They least realize the media has been deceitful in portraying his character. When Trump went down he pronounced it like most Americans do. Probably the way he said it his whole life. He was corrected however and they said if you’re gonna say it Mr. President you need to say it correctly. So during the press conference he jokingly corrected himself lol. Take how you will however.

I feel like a masochist at this point but dammit I wish I didn’t have such high tolerance for this stupidity on my FB.

All six of the individuals contacted by police in the hotel room were highly intoxicated, which made it very difficult for officers to determine what happened. IN 1934, AN African American pastor from Georgia made the trip of a lifetime, sailing across the Atlantic Ocean, through the gates of Gibraltar, and across the Mediterranean Sea to the Holy Land. After this pilgrimage, he traveled to Berlin, attending an international conference of Baptist pastors. While in Germany, this man—who was named Michael King—became so impressed with what he learned about the reformer Martin Luther that he decided to do something dramatic. He offered the ultimate tribute to the man’s memory by changing his own name to Martin Luther King. His five-year-old son was also named Michael—and to the son’s dying day his closest relatives would still call him Mike—but not long after the boy’s father changed his own name, he decided to change his son’s name too, and Michael King Jr. became known to the world as Martin Luther King Jr.

You don’t need a special stock to “bump-fire” semi-automatic rifles.

It’d be poetic justice if they proved to be why he lost. I of course though want him landslided.

There’s Lizards in the yellow area. Make preparations! I’d prepare for a major rain event and floods.

She needs to leave the GOP and I mean that with the sincerest compliments. She’s too intelligent to be in that party.

I’m down on the coast in the RED area, but I am well prepared and should be able to leave work early tomorrow if need be. All my critical prep is done but there’s a few other things I wouldn’t mind taking care of.

I’m a big fan of The Hudsucker Proxy myself, but Mrs. FBW can’t stand Katherine Hepburn, so by extension she can’t stand the Jennifer Jason Leigh character.

But how can you not love a movie with this scene?

Poking around online and found out Intel has released their i9 processor. It has 10 cores and is hyperthreaded. It has a base speed of 3.3 GHz, but can be pushed to 4.5. It will handle up to 128GB of ram and can handle 44 PCI Express lanes.
