Tennessee man flips car five times after letting ‘Jesus take the wheel’
A Tennessee man told police this week that Jesus personally came to him and told him to let Him drive on his behalf.
The result, reports local news station WVLT, is that his car veered off the highway and then flipped over five times.
Tennessee Highway Patrol officers say that when they arrived on the scene of the accident, 33-year-old Chad England was “speaking gibberish” and trying to flee the scene while carrying a jar.
Police say that England was “obviously” under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash, although the man apparently refused to take a blood test.
A search of England’s car revealed, according to WVLT, “six grams of marijuana, 0.6 grams of cocaine, a pipe, rolling papers, a 3/4 empty bottle of Crown Royal, a small empty bottle of Crown Royal, and several cans used for ‘huffing.’”

So, Mueller was nearly fired in June by Trump but McGann, the WH Counsel said he would quit if Trump did that. Trump backed down.
That’s …. well… it’s something alright.
Trump has contemplated obstruction of justice from the moment he won the election, because the investigations were heading his way over what was already known about his contacts with Russians and criminal acts.
He’s been engaging in obstruction of justice ever since - up to and including the firing of Comey, the attempted firing of Mueller, and all this goes to intent and action. In particular, look to 18 U.S.C. 1512(b) - obstruction of federal congressional, judicial, or administrative activities by intimidation, threat, corrupt persuasion, or deception.
Trump has threatened publicly and privately. There are acts of intimidation noted public and private. He’s engaged in deception and had others lie on his behalf.
The list of acts that qualify as obstruction of justice are growing nearly daily given Trump’s propensity to spew nonsense on a daily basis and he has no filter or self-control.
As a reminder, the GOP considered obstruction of justice - lying about consensual sexual relations with a woman - to be grounds for impeachment.
Trump and his campaign cronies lied about their contacts with Russians to secure information to throw an election in violation of federal law (yet other criminal acts), engaging in conspiracy against the US, perjury, lying on federal security clearance forms, etc. And that list continues growing.
Mueller’s already got indictments and guilty pleas. More are coming.

Two days after the school shooting that left two students dead and 18 injured at Marshall County High School, Gov. Matt Bevin posted a video on Facebook saying that violence depicted in the entertainment industry glorifies killing and has contributed to “a culture of death in America.”
“We are desensitizing young people to the actual tragic reality and permanency of death,” he said in the 11-minute statement. “This is a cultural problem.”
Bevin said called on producers of movies, music, television shows and video games to be part of an effort to “figure out how to try to repair this fabric of America that’s getting shredded beyond recognition.”
Bevin said that while he believes in freedom of speech guaranteed under the Constitution, “we have got to start to think about the filth.”

Policy disagreements aren’t enough to call X involved in a conspiracy. But lying and inventing details could be (see Nunes, Chaffetz, etc.).
McConnell is an opportunist and a skilled political extremist. His actions are those trying to maximize his position and power. He’s been low profile on anything relating to the Trump fiasco and investigations.
Ryan has more exposure here, mostly because he continues enabling people like Nunes to spew their nonsense daily.
