Trump Contradicts His Own Words About Why He Fired James Comey

Politics • Views: 28,755

YouTube

Another day, another string of bizarre hallucinatory tweets from our so-called president. Today Donald Trump fired up his iPhone and completely contradicted himself about firing James Comey over the Russia probe.

Last year he told NBC News anchor Lester Holt:

“And in fact when I decided to just do it, I said to myself, I said ‘you know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story, it’s an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should have won’.”

Seems pretty clear, right? Nonetheless, in this morning’s tweet he totally reversed himself. Does he think nobody notices when he does this stuff?

This is the problem with telling as many lies as President Racist Grandpa — it’s hard to keep all the stories straight.

Then there was this fever dream:

Every single word of this is a lie, including “and” and “the.” None of it is actually happening in the real world.

And then, this one:

Trump breaks his silence about Stormy Daniels with a tweet implying he knew about her claims years ago, after denying he knew anything at all about her, and saying Michael Cohen acted completely on his own by arranging hush money for her.

We see why it’s so difficult for Trump to keep lawyers around. They have a reckless fool for a client.

Who is the guy in the picture with Stormy Daniels? (Outside of him bearing an incredible resemblance to the sketch of the guy that purportedly threatened Daniels if she didn’t leave Trump alone).

Not to worry, pundits and supporters will be out to explain that Truth itself is self-contradictory, heck even the Holy Scriptures contradict themselves in places, and they are Word of God.

Two bit Tallyrands?

Guess Cotton didn’t bother to read Kissinger’s book on Metternich and Tallyerand either.

Because the ones who have switched sides and are complicit with Russia aren’t Democrats, but everyone who surrounds Trump and who enables Trump to continue undermining US national security and US foreign policy.

Our goals are now what Russia wants.

Pulled Charles’ last line from his thread topic above.

We see why it’s so difficult for Trump to keep lawyers around. They have a reckless fool for a client.

Yet a bunch of lawyers that are members of the Republican Party and are in Congress keep Trump around so the fool can wreck this country.

After they get voted out, can we all get them disbarred?

On a serious note, I’d be shocked if Trump has ever seen All the Presidents Men let alone read the book.

I thought that was really common knowledge once everyone knew about the re-election campaign “war chest” and how it was being used as payment for law fees for anyone in the White House, on his staff, family, etc.

So…no surprise.

Basic thought to always keep in mind: If it has anything to do with Trump or anyone associated with him, it is probably sketchy, sneaky, slimy and illegal.

This I can tell you.

I don’t think that the tweet itself indicates he knew about these claims years ago:

“A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!

5:08 AM - Apr 18, 2018”

Given the widespread publicity about her 60 Minutes interview, Trump could state that he first learned of this only a couple weeks ago. In any event, it’s certainly possible that Trump leaves all this up to his consigliere and asks not to be bothered about the details of individual cases. He could have issued a standing order to Cohen years earlier that any woman who is troublesome should be “warned” of dire consequences.

I’m totally okay with their pissing away the campaign seed money - they just have to gouge their increasingly-reluctant donors for more later.

…which will need to be spent on more lawyers defending the use of these funds. A beautiful cycle.

The rah-rah Limbaughian idiots and haters are just about the same, and of course there’s basically no local lefties who have flipped, but the “respectable” middle here that defaults Republican doesn’t like to talk about him very much. Well, it’s got to be a very senior person communicating with the Russians, right? Or maybe someone DMs a particular buddy? Or lurks around at a street corner at midnight waiting for dude called Sergei with a trilby pulled forward to hide his eyes? I guess midnight car parking structures are traditional.

I actually would be curious to know. Really, they probably have a standard protocol.
